::Rockets 2001 franchise:: (1-0)

Postby Murat on Thu Jun 03, 2010 10:31 pm

The first match:

Clippers vs. Rockets
Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA

Rockets started great at the match. Mo Taylor scored 8 points at the first quarter. Steve Francis helped with Mo Taylor to Rockets to lead the 1st quarter 23-11. At the second quarter, Rockets bench (Norris, Anderson, Thomas) helped to tired starters. But Clippers had a lot of rebounds (Skinner had 9 rebs in 1st half) and turned the match to themselves. Rockets didnt stop and led the half 48-33. At the 3rd quarter, Steve Francis entered to foul trouble but had a lot of steals for a quarter. Rockets put 29 pts in 3rd quarter with the help of Walt Williams. 4th quarter is not good for Rockets, they put 12 points and outscored with 12 points against Clippers because Nesby and Olowokandi was on fire. Rockets win the match 89-73.

Man I plan to change it to Starter. See me.
BTW: I made 16 point outscore against Clippers (one of the worse teams, maybe the worst) at Rookie.

Thierry... is that you?

j/k

seriously, i'm sure all Live versions are appreciated, provided you can stick with it and not change teams like you're changing underwear

looks nice so far... would like more info on the team (full roster, schedule, key matchups etc); also from what i remember, turning "Keep Scores Close" off is better as RL blowouts do happen

81% FG, 5 assists and EIGHT steals! the 'Franchise' was unstoppable (Y)

No need to be snippy. If threads are in the wrong section, they get moved; simple as that. However, this is a Franchise story and as such, it's in the right section.

man if that was an option in 2003 I'd turn that crap OFF, because what it does is if your like 20 points up, the CPU will automatically make like 80% of every 3 pointer they attempt and you'll miss and soon they'll be up by five and then they will just match your scoring. Even if it's Phoenix (me) vs. Milwaukee (cpu), the cpu will keep things within ten points. Most of the time, you'll never see a blowout in NBA live 2003.

Yes, I will put these so. Trades, rosters, standings what can you expect will be soon.
BTW, Francis had 5 fouls. Norris played a bit.

Rocket's first match at Houston

Rockets vs. Jazz
Compaq Center, Houston, TX

Houston bolstered with Williams, 8-0. Houston saved the outscoring but Malone blocked that, Rockets led the quarter only with 4: 25-21. At the second quarter, Williams helped Rockets to open the difference up to 15. It looks not enough for Rockets, Williams had a 3-point buzzer-beater: 48-35. Third quarter became Jazz's quarter. They closed the difference and led the 3rd quarter with Starks's buzzer-beater: 64-63. Fourth quarter was head-to-head. Jazz took 1-point led when 1,5 mins left to finish. But Francis didnt take more consession to Jazz, Rockets win: 96-91.

Different circumstances, like I said this is a Franchise thread and this is a section for Dynasty and Franchise threads, so there's no issue. Anyway, good luck with it.

Next time, you should play more games instead of simulating nearly every game.
