Hey Guys !

I decided to give posting an association another shot using the Kings, unlike all my Knicks associations ive posted ive got no attachments with the Kings other than to just let things play out there own way! I used to get so ticked off if say i did a game and only managed to grab 6 rebounds or so with David Lee or not be able to hit a single 3 with Gallo !

I originally started this chise back in Dec playing the first 3 games so when i decided to go back to it i found the rosters to be a little dated so i updated them and simmed the first 3 games simply because i didnt want to play them again but i had to sim them that many times just so that i got a 2-1 record with everyones stats being about just what i had them about , iam a freak i know lol

The Arco faithful got there first look at there new "Star" player Tyreke Evans as the Sacramento Kings hosted there 1st home game of the season against the Memphis Grizzlies after opening up the season with 3 straight games on the road vs the the Thunder, Hornets and Spurs returning with a record of 2-1 going into tonights matchup.

After a warm welcome from there loyal fans the Kings started off the game well with both Hawes and Nocioni having 6 points each through mid 1st quarter when Tyreke Evans was forced to the bench with his 2nd foul of the game leaving the door wide open for the Grizzlies to chip away at the small Sac lead, Rudy Gay doing the most damage finishing the half with 12 points.

Memphis lead for most of the 3rd behind strong play of the Grizzlies bigs Gasol and Randolph Kings guard Beno changed the pace of the game scoring 6 straight points and overall giving SacTown the spark they needed to pull themselves back for the 15 point lead the Grizzlies had over them to tie the game up with 3 minutes to go.

Memphis had ran out of steam while the Kings had hit another gear , Tyreke was sharing the ball with everyone racking up 6 assists in the 4th alone.

Hawks Stats
Johnson - 20 points 6 assists
Bibby - 17 points 7 rebounds 5 assists
Crawford - 14 points 3 rebounds
Horford - 8 points 16 rebounds

Recap

The Kings opened up the game with a 10-0 start lead behind Tyreke's 12 1st quarter points and it took the Hawks 3 minutes to score!
This game was a barn burner a no contest and isnt really work reporting on thats how poor the Hawks were after playing back to back games against the Blazers (W100-84).

The Kings rested key players for most of the game and used there bench , McGuire-Brockman-Garcia-Casspi all saw good minutes and produced for Sacramento. Mike Bibby had a good game against his former team with 17 points and it was him and Crawford that keep the Hawks with in 15-20 points the whole game until Joe Johnson finally showed up in the 4th.

Great defensive efforts from Landry , Greene and Garcia keeping Josh Smith and Joe Johnson at bay !

Recap
Very tough game to play in the players knew they were in a battle against the Thunder lead by Kevin Durant's 41 points.
The Kings made a meal of this game by shooting just 43% at the free throw line and turned the ball over in key moments which nearly cost them the ball game, Jason Thompson made some huge baskets in the 4th to seal the victory!

If iam honest my goal was to trade Noc at the start of the season but ive actually been surprised by his toughness in the game , i knew he was a tough player in real life but its been kind of showing in the game too !

I think i might think of making a trade i do have alot of small forwards !

Recap

Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans went toe to toe in a battle of the combo guards and it was the Kings Evans that came out on top with the hot shooting victory scoring 12 of his 24 points in the 4th quarter alone after the Bulls only managed to put up 29 1st half points.

Flip Murray lead the Bulls with 16 points as he kept driving to the basket while Spencer Hawes patrolled the paint collecting 3 block shots but it was the strong play from Garcia that has got coach Paul Westphal thinking about changing some roles around chipping in with a solid 10 points 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

Deng and Warrick lead a 4th quarter comeback which saw Luol teasing with a triple double playing playmaker but they could only bring the game back to 7 points as time expired.

Yeah i use Hawes, Landry and Thompson as my 3 headed monster :D

Thompson is a pretty decent overall talent , he can get out on the break , hit the 15 footer and post. Hawes is more of a shooter with some post moves while Landry is a decent defender , rebounder and again can hit the 15 footer so all 3 of them really have something to offer out there.

If i do make a trade i think it might be Casspi , i like the guy but i love Greene and Garcia and Noc is playing pretty well so Omri is sort of the odd man out.

Dallas were always in the game matching big shot after big shot and showed stunning defense that coughed up 15 Sacramento turnovers. Caron Butler was the player of the game as he now seems well and truly settled with his new team scoring 20 2nd half points finishing with 32 overall.

Recap

The Kings came bouncing back from there road trip with a crushing victory over Knicks , Donte Greene finally lifting his game to his 6th man role he was handed by coach Paul Westphal at the begining of the season.

Tyreke Evans scored at will against the swiss cheese knick defense notching up 27 points in just 25 minutes as it was the SAC bench that played out the most of this game, Jason Thompson was another bright spot on the night grabbing a career high 14 rebounds and hitting for 15 points. Paul Westphal speaks highly of his young froward.

The Knicks who added Raja Bell started him at SG and Tmac and SF with pretty much the same results as seasons gone by .. a lose
Raja was a no show and McGrady scored just 15 points on 5-23 shooting.

Recap

A top team from the East faced a top team from the West, the western team came out on top behind 26 points from allstar guard Devin Harris and up and coming forward YI.

Sacramento head coach Paul Westphal was going crazy on the kings bench as the Nets were just walking to basket at will with very little in there way to stop them as even from the 1st quarter the kings were down big and had a 20 point half time wall to climb.

Tyreke Evans could not keep up with Harris and Beno was a no show all together shooting 2-12 for the game, the Nets spent most of the game in a zone defense keeping the SacTown bigs out of the paint and shooting jumpshots which is what they wanted us to do all game long.

Recap

Two top western conference teams met up at the Arco arena in downtown Sacramento for what would be a very entertaining game as 2 of the leagues brightest stars in Chris Paul and Tyreke Evans did battle , both having outstatnding games.

The Hornets got off to the fast start wining the 1st quarter 28-23 behind steady play from there start pg Chris Paul who got quick help from James Posey which lead to Kings head coach Paul Westphal yanking Nocioni from the lineup following a few unguarded baskets.

Donte Greene was his replacement and was starting to get hot which fired Noc up more as he finished the game strong hitting 2 huge 3's in the 4th closing out the game with 16 points , 8 of which came in the 4th quarter. Greene continued his strong play off the bench with 12 points.

The story of the night was the star pg's but there could only be one winning on the night and that would be Tyreke Evans and his Sacramento Kings treating there fans to a stunning performance which even had the home team fans chanting "M.V.P .... M.V.P" to there Rookie who showed his all around skills with 21 points and 10 assists.
