Game: NBA 2k10 (PS3)
Quarter Length: 9 minutes
Sim Quarter Length: 12 minutes
Season Length: 29 games
Playoff Length: 5-5-5-5

After being a Live user my whole life I finally got sick of their mistakes and I decided to go out and buy 2k10. Getting use to the controls was a bit weird but I am know confident and ready to start my first association. All the options in association are so new to me so all input is greatly appreciated. Hopefully you can all enjoy my very first 2k association.

The Pepsi Centre was sold out for the Nuggets season opener against the Timberwolves. The Nuggets were coming off an excellent 2008-2009 season were they made it all the way to the Western Conference finals. The Timberwolves however were coming off a disastrous season and after their first pick in the draft Ricky Rubio deciding to stay in Spain the T-Wolves were already starting the new season on the back foot. However they did have another high pick in Jonny Flynn and also Wayne Ellington who showed some very promising form in summercamp. The Nuggets unlike alot of their Western Conference rivals did not sign any big names however they did acquire Ty Lawson, Arron Afflalo, Malik Allen and Joey Graham who look to add some good depth to this top team.

Denver controlled the game but one aspect they couldn't control was Jonny Flynn. Flynn in his NBA debut got himself a double double which is an exceptional effort. Denvers rookie Ty Lawson also had a solid night with 12 points. However the real star on the night was none other than Carmelo Anthony who was unstoppable. Al Jefferson looked a bit off the pace after coming back from a season ending knee injury last year. However with Nene, K-Mart and Birdman so dominant in the paint it was no wonder Jefferson struggled. The Nuggets face the Jazz next at home and both teams will be desperate for the win in this short season.

So you ended your Knicks dynasty? I really enjoyed that.

I personally liked your Raptors dynasty the best, but you made a good choice with Live. I think you should stick with this as Denver is your favorite team. (Y)

Good luck with this one. Denver's kind of cool. Get something out of their role players like "Earl" Smith and Nene. Good first win.

Thierry., Thanks

hova-, Smith will continue to come off the bench because hes more effective that way and he will get lots of minutes. I love Nene's style of play and he also will be a big part of the Nuggets plans.

"JAZZ HAND NUGGETS FIRST LOSS OF THE SEASON"

After a great season opener the Nuggets looked to get their second win against their Northwest division rivals. However the Jazz had other plans and totally dominated the game. Deron Williams played out of his skin and earned himself Jordan Player of the Game. Carmelo Anthony did everything he could to put his team in the lead but his efforts went unrewarded. He was the led the Nuggets in points, rebounds and 3P made. Billups seemed to struggle from the field and rookie Ty Lawson had a very difficult game. He had 5 turnovers and really seemed to struggle against the tough defense. The Nuggets now go on the road to face the winless Kings and both teams will be desperate for the win. Lets hope that the Nuggets can get back to winning ways.

"KINGS HAND NUGGETS THEIR SECOND STRAIGHT LOSS"

Image107 - 111 Image

The Nuggets this week made a very positive move by resigning head coach George Karl for another 3 years. The Nuggets looked to get their second win against a winless Kings squad. The game was close all the way through however you always felt that the Nuggets were in control until the 4th quarter. The Kings totally dominated in the 4th and rookie Tyreke Evans really stood up and scored 16 points. Nene after struggling in the first two games seemed to find some form but it was again Carmelo Anthony who dominated for the Nuggets.
With 30 seconds left on the clock the score was 107-109 Kings lead and the Nuggets were inbounding the ball. However JR Smith made a horror error and his pass was intercepted and Tyreke Evans who ran the length of the court to slam the ball down. Then after a missed 3 from Billups the game was totally out of reach.
The Nuggets face the Spurs next in is what to be a great Western Conference matchup.

The Nuggets were on a two game slide and were in desperate need of a win against a very impressive Spurs outfit. The Spurs added Richard Jefferson and some other names over the offseason but they also recently acquired Wally Szczerbiak. Szczerbiak [b/]is a 10 year NBA veteran and will add great depth to this already solid team. However these additions were useless against an impressive Nuggets side. The Nuggets dominated the game and credit must be given to the bench who had a total of [b]42 points. This win was vital for the Nuggets as they have a very tough schedule ahead of them. They will face the Rockets next who are currently leading the Western Conference with a record of 4-0.

Great team choice (y), I think you gotta play with the team you love, because it keeps it interesting no matter what. Good luck... hope you can take the Nuggets to a ring

Wow, you lost to the Kings and the Jazz and then destroy the Spurs, not bad. Melo's playing great so far.

Duncan was huge, and McDyess seems to be playing great too.
