2K10 Bulls Association. Suggestions?

I've had 2K10 since October. Played one Association season but am now waiting until the patch comes out.
I wanted to look at your suggestions on some signings and trades I'd like to do and see if anyone has any suggestions on other options.

Here's how my lineup would look together with subs on each position. First person is my main substitution at that position. People after will mostly play scrub time.


PG - Derrick Rose - Kirk Hinrich, Lindsey Hunter (going to waive Jannero Pargo)
SG - John Salmons - Plan on signing Jerry Stackhouse as my backup SG
SF - Luol Deng (I kinda want to trade him so I'm looking for suggestions here)
PF - Tyrus Thomas - Taj Gibson, James Johnson
C - Joakim Noah - Brad Miller, Jerome James, Aaron Gray

So, that's what it looks like. Some problems I'd like suggestions on:
Not too worried about PG. I like playing Hinrich as PG, don't want him at SG. Hunter will play limited minutes.
If I sign Stack, I have one SG backup. Right now, I have noone to sub for Luol Deng, so I need a SF. Looking to maybe trade him for two players, or try to trade for a star SG and play Salmons at SF

SF is the position I need some depth in. Bulls have no good SF to sub for.

PF position is alright. I like Thomas and Taj.

I think the Bulls have too many centers. Basically, I wanna play Noah and Miller alot. Otherwise play Taj or Johnson sometime. I don't really wanna use Jerome James or Aaron Gray that much so I'd like to get rid of them.

So what do you think? anyone have any suggestions?

Lindsey is not used at all, for the sake of realism you should keep him so he'd be the chemistry guy, the good locker room presence dude and ofcourse, a great mentor for Derrick Rose. Jerome James, don't trade him, he's got a massive expiring contract, leave him be. Just have him stink in the inactive list. Aaron Gray should get about 2 minutes a game in blowout wins/losses. James Johnson is a small forward, doesn't get too much playing time. Play Kirk mostly at SG and have Salmons play some time at the SF behind Deng.

Your main pieces going on should be Joakim Noah, and obviously Derrick Rose.

No need for Stack, from what I know about him, he doesn't sound like the ideal player alongside Derrick Rose who's the main piece, the first option, no question about it. Stackhouse seems even worse, I think he won't fit alongside Rose at all. Try going for some good spot up three point shooter that doesn't need the ball to be effective, have Rose with the ball.

Your main rotation should be something like this:

Rose (37), Hinrich (11)
Salmons (27), Hinrich (22)
Deng (33), Salmons (5), JJ (10)
Thomas (22), Gibson (15), Miller (5), Deng (4)
Noah (33), Miller (15)

Something along these lines, with a couple of tweaks. In blowout wins/losses, play guys like Gray, JJ, Gibson, etc. I'm not sure how the players are going to contribute in NBA 2k10, but IRL Gibson gets a ton more minutes than JJ, and deserves to get them. Just see what works out the best for you, that's how I can say it all would be the most realistic for you.

I also played with the Bulls, but actually I do not like their roster, with the exception of Rose and Noah. Since the Bulls have several players with high salary and low quality which are on their contract year, you have two options: trade them now or wait for the free agency market in the next season.

I selected the first option and got Gay, Sam Young, Thabeet, Randolph, Telfair and Fernandez. After some additional trades I ended with Bosh and Granger and lost Randolph and Salmons.

If you do not want to hurt chemistry I suggest you get Gay + Sam Young and Thabeet for Deng + Thomas. Young and Thabeet are good backup guys with potential, that do not mind to be prospects. Than, I would try to get Jason Thompson from the Kings to be your starting PF. Use Miller and a 2nd round pick.
