|Raptors|A Real Challenge...(ENDED)

Postby Dee. on Mon Jun 22, 2009 7:31 am

Ok,i Finally got my Nba Live 08  ,So what im going to do is,i will do a fantasy draft with Toronto Raptors.
I will only draft weak and cheap players,to get a really big challenge.I Will draft young players with prbbly a rating 65~.
After that i will Hire really good Staff,to develop Players well.Im going to do a recap for each game.
I will do weekly recaps of whats going around nba (injuries, rumors, trades, releases, signings, and everything else.)
Questions to you !
Guys, what should i do with the recaps of the games, should i put real-life pictures,or in game Screenshots ?
And give me an advice what player with a rating of 65~ could be a nice leader ? (im thinking about daniel gibson)

Whether or not you want to use real life or in game pictures is up to you. Personally I think that in game screenshots work well with conveying what happened in your recaps a lot better.

I don't think anyone is all too sure who all of the 65 rated guys are, so maybe giving a bigger list of your preferred players would be better.

Can't really go wrong with Salmons or Calderon. Both are fringe all-stars and are probably the most likely out of all the candidates to have a team built around them.

Yeah calderon, salmons, gibson. Your best bet would probably be calderon as your leader.

Seemed like it was a very tight game, did anything important/clutch happen down the stretch?

Good job holding on to that lead. I like your roster. It is well balanced, and you don't have one distinctive star to take up the spotlight.

So I Think maybe of Signing A New SF.

That's what you get for not drafting Korver :D

But your roster looks great, two potential all-star PG-s you've go there.

Good luck! Hope you find a good SF! Like James White or smtg :D

Don't Forget a Potential All-star PF David Lee,he is doing a great job. :)
Tho its not so good with the SF Signing,There is only one SF In All Free Agent's Market.
I'm Thinking of Signing a SG And changing His position to SF. :)

Thanks For The Comments. (Y)

By the way, it's Renaldo Balkman  . Great signing of Carroll, I think he can replace Balkman for a while, awsome 3 point shooter.

Yeah, Carroll definitely brings a lot more to the table offensively than Balkman, but Balkman is a tougher rebounder/defender. Kind of a trade off, I'd think, but I think it shouldn't make too big of a difference.

You should put Salmons at SF and Carroll at SG.

Yeah,Carroll's Shooting will really help me to win,Balkman is not such a good defender aswell, actually i dont get why his rating is bigger than Carroll's.

You see,Salmons is not so good at shooting. And With my Style of play i Prefer Three Point shooters At SF.But thanks for the advice, ill think about it.

Salmons played SF with the Kings and the Bulls, shooting on a respectable 42% from three and 47% from the field. Also over 86% from the line. He can shoot. But it's your team :D

I know he can,but its my style of play that won't make me much value from him if he's SF.
