Chicago bulls return to greatness

Postby Cleveland wins on Sun Jun 21, 2009 9:00 pm

Its been many years since the bulls won a championship, or even since they've gotten past the second round of the playoffs, but now they have a new leader, Derrick Rose. A young talented point gaurd. This player will help make the other bulls players better. This chicago Bulls story begins with the hiring of the staff, which will help the young Bulls return to greatness.

I believe that this staff will help build the bulls into a great team, we have assistants who are good in all three abilities, a good scout and a good assistant head coach. We'll mainly be focusing our assistants on our young players and every once in a while on our veterans so they won't decline in their abilities. In this years rookie draft, we'll be drafting a shooting gaurd, if the draft is strong or very strong then we'll draft either a center or a small forward with our second pick. We want our rookies to be no older than 22 years old. We might make a trade or two, and maybe even a big trade to get a big name player on our team, maybe a vince carter, or JR.Smith. We want a highflying shooting gaurd to compliment Derrick Rose, because the bulls thrived in their glory days when they had such a player in the name of Michael Jordan.

Trade complete!
One of the biggest trades in franchise history is now complete, in a trade with the denver nuggets the bulls receive players, nene, jr.smith and steven hunter, in return the nuggets receive ben gordon, kirk hinrich and demarcus nelson. This trade really helps out both teams and is very realistic, although I'd say that the nuggest are getting the better players, but the bulls got what they wanted, a center who can rebound in nene and a highflying shooting gaurd. Now we won't have to scout any shooting gaurds in this years rookie draft. The chicago bulls big three is all set and they are, Derick rose, Jr.smith and deng. Here are comments from point gaurd Derick Rose about the trade.

Dr:This trade really helps this franchise and it helps me as well, now i have somebody who can run the floor with me. I can pass the ball for an allyoop when me and jr.smith are on a fast
break and he can go up for the dunk, this is great! This is fantastic, I love this trade!

Nene:I'm gonna miss denver, i've been there for several years, but it was time for a change i guess and i'm glad to be here in chicago and playing for the bulls, i think i'm gonna like my new team, i know i'm going to enjoy playing with a great player such as rose, he's a great kid to work with.

Jr.Smith:I enjoyed my time with the nuggest, i was playing with a great veteran point gaurd like chauncy billups, now i have a chance to play with another great ponit gaurd, but this guys only 18 years old! I hope to have many good years with this team, it'll be fun running up and down the court on fast breaks with derrick rose. I love chicago.

Sh:I've been wanting to play for the bulls for a while now, and now i get my chance, i hope i can get some playing time since the two main centers are nene and brad miller. I can play, i know i can help this team win games if i get the chance. I want to show everybody what i can do, please give me a chance to play. I'm gonna like it here though, I love playing with young talented players, its going to be fun playing with derrick rose and the rest of the bulls.

Owner:The main reason I did this trade is to get a highflying shooting gaurd who can run the floor with derrick rose. The bulls should be a winning franchise now, and we should go pretty far in the playoffs this year. I hated giving up two superstars such as gordon and hinrich, but now we won't have to worry about resigning gordon when the time came and we didn't really need hinrich since we had so many point gaurds, although i loved the guy and his ability to shoot threes. On top of that we now have two star centers, one who can shoot and one who can play defense and rebound. We may make one more trade this year for a small forward or a power forward. It'll be a surprise for the chicago bulls fans, you'll just have to wait and see.

Good trade. Luol Deng was playing good though. He scored 20+ points in the first two games. That's pretty impressive. In order to post pictures click the Img button in the row above the post box. It is between the [*] and URL buttons. Put the Image Address between the brackets. In order to get the Image Address, right click on the picture you want and click Copy Image Address. Even real life pictures would make your dynasty look much better. They're better than nothing.

The chicago bulls change Joakim Noah's primary position to power forward because of the need for one, we didn't want tim thomas starting. The chicago bulls sign shooting gaurd marcus vinicis.

The chicago bulls just made another trade with the denver nuggets, this is a minor trade which should help the bulls in the long run.
bulls receive johan petro
nuggets receive aaron gray and anthony robinson
_______________
We can develope johan petro into a shot blocking stud and a talented rebounder, which is what we'll do after we train derrick rose, which we are doing now. We are focusing both assistants on rose, one assistant is training him in offense and the other in defense. Rose needs a lot of work defensively. We probably won't make any more trades during the season nor will we sign anyone elese this season. our team for the time being is now set and is good as it is. The addition of andre igudala was great for team chemistry, he gets along with most of the players and is now the bulls new team leader, actually he is a co-team captain along with derrick rose. We are now building our team around andre, which means we need more three point shooters and rebounders. We're going to focus on getting a three point shooting point gaurd with our first pick in the rookie draft and a power forward who can rebound with our second pick. We may make some trades this offseason, for who? We aren't sure as of yet. We don't really need any more big names since we have rose and igudala, maybe we could add a mini-star or something. We want our big men to be strong, athletic, rebounding blocking big men. We want our small forwards to be three point shooters. We want our shooting gaurds to be highflying three point and good midrange shooters, and finally we want our point gaurds to be passing and three point shooting point gaurds. So our assistants have a lot of work to do. We may be looking to add a big name center in the offseason, maybe somebody like zydrunas ilgauskas. We might even make a trade for martell webster because we like his three point shooting ability and our assistants can help improve that area of his game.

The bulls are playing well right now and don't need to tweak the roster any more at this point in time. The bulls are looking ahead to a bright future, they have a young highflying three point shooting shooting gaurd and a great small forward much like the old bulls had. The bulls team is almost complete, the only position they lack now is that they don't have an offensive power forward, once we get one in this years draft, the bulls should be returning to greatness.

Here is the new roster for the chicago bulls.

http://yfrog.com/10fullscreencapture752009p

The bulls are playing well right now with their most impressive victory at cleveland as they beat the cavalier 106 to 56 at cleveland. The bulls may pick a center in the first round of the rookie draft, we haven't started scouting yet, we'll probably do that in december or starting in january, we would like to make a trade for a first round pick if the draft is strong, if its only average or below then we'll only draft one player and if we can sign some players in the offseason, and possibly make trade in the offseason as well, we would love to have a player like zydrunas ilkauskas or mehmek okur, two centers who can shoot the ball. And maybe a good back up shooting gaurd who can shoot threes, or steal. in the draft since there has been a change in plans, we'll draft a center like i said if there are any good ones and maybe a power forward, we also hope to make a trade for forward carlos boozer. The league leaders have been scoring a high number of points per game. Here is the november schedule which we just completed as well as the league leaders.

Comments from bulls players

Nene:I love this team, i went from one winning franchise to another, we made some good trades and i love playing with andre igduala and detrrick rose! They are tremendous young players, and rose will develope into a great ponit gaurd, i love when he passes the ball to in the low post.

Tyrus Thomas:Well, i'm playing as a forward now because this team only has one forward on the roster. Actually, this suits me quite well because, this is my natural position, i like playing as a forward better than center any way. I know though that i need a lot of work on my offense game, hopefully the assistatns can work on that area of my game. I know i can become a great inside scorer, once the assistants teach me.

Rose:I'm having so much fun playing for the bulls! Its been great being part of the big three along with Jr.Smith and Andre Igduala. I love those guys, igudlala is a great defender and smith can really shoot from downtown, i love passing it to him on the fast break, we beat several good teams including our rival, the cleveland cavaliers! That was an amazing game, we had a very good ovvensive game against cleveland that day, we have good chemistry and i hope we keep up the good work.

The bulls are looking forward to a bright future, this year we plan on making the eastern conference finaly, we might make one more trade before the deadline involving a 2 for one deal or a two for two deal with cleveland for zydrunas ilkauskas, i love that guy, he can shoot, block and rebound and that's the kind of center this team needs, wether he is a young player or a veteran, right now though, we need another veteran because we want to win now! Maybe we could trade in a two for two deal, make a trade with the lakers for trevor ariza, hmm, we shall see in january, january and febuary will be big months for changes to our roster. Then after that we hope to be one of the top 4 seeds in the playoffs. I'll tell you about the draft, and post images about the players in this years rookies draft and who we are scouting in the upcoming updates.
