In the battle of Californa the Sacramento Kings and their rookie point guard Brandon Jennings couldn't beat the Champs from LA.Game started really bad for Sac-Town with a 32 to 24 for the Lakers in the first quarter.It seems like the Lakers will make a blowout win.But in the second the Kings were back with nice play from Spencer Hawes and Rudy Gay.2 minutes before the end Brandon Jennings went in and he scored 5 quick points.He finished the quarter with a trey,that made the game 50 to 50 at the half.In the second half the things went on like it had to be..Gasol was a monster in the key.He made Jason Thompson having 5 fouls at the end.And 4 of this fouls were "And1's".The Lakers took the lead again but 2 minutes before the end of the game a trey from Beno Udrih gave the Kings a new power and they tried to escape from the lose.Minute and a half before the end,Rudy Gay was at the foul line with result at 109 to 108 for LA.He was awful at the line and he missed them two.He finished 2-9 from the FT line.In the next attack,Kobe scored a 3-pointer.Kevin Martin gave an quick answer with a lay-up to make it 112 to 110.Then Gasol was fouled,he scored 2-2 and Beno Udrih missed from the downtown in the next Kings attack.In the end Kobe scored two more free throws to make it 116 to 110.
Brandon Jennings made a nice debut in the NBA and he told the world that he might be the new rookie of the year.He scored 20 points and added 7 assists.Kevin Martin was good too with 18 points,6 rebounds and 8 assists.Spencer Hawes made 16 points and 9 rebounds.Jason Thompson played good too with 10 points,9 rebounds and 3 steals.Rudy Gay and Beno Ud[u]rih scored 17,16 each.Pau Gasol was the Jordan Brand Player of The Game with 23 points,9 rebounds and 3 blocks.The Machine,Sasha Vujacic added 19 and Kobe finished with 18.
