T'Wolves finnaly back in playoffs
Last season (2008-09) T'Wolves were 13th on east and got 4th draft pick. Ricky Rubio was no.1 pick. T'Wolves picked Blake Griffin and quickly traded him to Sacramento in exchange for Ricky Rubio. They also traded 1st round pick. Now, future looks brighter than ever. The starting five is young and talented. Jefferson is an all-star already, Love is great defender, Rubio is just a great playmaker for this team. Foye and Gomes are doing their job and T'Wolves made it to the playoffs as 6th seed.
“It's a great position to be in right now. We are in playoffs , season is still alive. This offseason we can add another superstar to this team as James , Wade and Bryant all become free agents. So yes I believe we can become contender next season. ” Jefferson said.
At the start of the season they added new coach Dion Hickman, which signed a three year deal. Defensive specialist made T'Wolves a playoff team first season as head coach.
Looks like T'Wolves are back and younger than ever.
