The Hawks beat Orlando as Johnson scored 23 points



Joe Johnson was the only player of the Hawks who had more than 20 points in this game.He was the key to Hawks victory.He added 5 rebounds and 4 assists and he went on a nice 9-13 from the FG and 1-1 from the 3pt line.Maurice Evans played a nice first half finishing with 12 points for 7 minutes and that gave Hawks 48 to 37 lead at the half.Magic get themselves in hands in the 3rd quarter and they made some nice scoring runs but Joe and the Hawks wasn't sure 'bout that and they made a nice 11 - 0 scoring run to close the 3rd 34 to 37 for the Magic.In the late 4th,a minute and 20 seconds before the end Orlando tried to do something again and the Hawks lead was decreased to 4 points but some fastbreaks and three-pointers give them the 107 to 97 win.
Joe Johnson finished with 23 points,5 rebounds and 4 assists to win the Jordan Player of The Game award.Josh Smith added 16 points and 7 rebounds.Al Horford did some nice work on defense as he finished with 11 points, 5 boards,2 assists,3 steals and 5 blocks.Mike Bibby was close to a double double with 9 points and 8 assists.
Dwight Howard finished with a double double - 22 points,13 rebounds and 4 blocks.Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson both scored 19 but Nelson added 11 assists.Rashard Lewis added 13.
