It's 15th october and the 28 years old Maxim Vantchev from Bulgaria is at his house in Orlando,FL.Last year he was working for the italian team - Benetton Treviso.After he was fired he bought a house in Orlando and started living there.
It's 9.34pm and Maxim is eating a pepperoni pizza while his iPhone is ringing.It was his manager - Acie Trenton.

- Hey,whats up,Acie ?
- Hey my man..what are you doing in this night ?
- Ooh..im eating wright now and watching some summer league games..
- The NBA ?
- Yes,the NBA..and how are you doing ?
- Haha..im fine thank you,i have a lot of work you know.
- Work..you said it..lets talk about work..did you found something for me,you know i told you to find something..
- Hmm..i called some peoples this week..few clubs are interested in you.
- I heard that Armani Jeans Milano are looking for something..
- You still want to work in Europe ?! Im talking 'bout NBA..
- The NBA,are you kidding me ?!
- Im serious..there are few clubs that looked you and they want to work for them
- Lol..which clubs ?
- I talked with Eduard Snider,he is chairman of the Comcast-Specatcor(the owners of Philadelphia 76ers)..and he told me that he is ready to give you some money to work for them.
- How much ?
- We are talking about 600,000$ - 650,000$ a year.
- That sounds good,but you told me there few clubs,which are the others ?
- The Bucks..they want you too,the Blazers and the Pacers.
- The Pacers..what you know about their offer ?

Vanchev announced as the new Blazers GM

After a long press-conference,Maxim Vanchev was presented like the new general manager of the Portland TrailBlazers.This is his first NBA job.Before the Blazers he worked for Benetton Treviso(Italy),BC Zalgiris(Lithuania) and Lukoil Academic(Bulgaria).
Vanchev told the press that he's extremely happy about his new job - "You know that this is my first work in the NBA,im so excited..i just dont have words.I will make all which will help the team."The Blazers will open their season against the Lakers.So here's the Blazers line-up :

Greg Oden with a nice debut in win against LA

The Portland Trailblazers and their new GM won their first game.They beat the Lakers 100 to 95.The Lakers started the game really nice but Portland play some nice basketball in the next 3 quarters and they won them.Kobe scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half but he couldn't help his team.He also added 6 assists.Derek Fisher added 16 and Lamar Odom 13.
It was really nice game for Batum and Oden.That was there first NBA game and Batum finished with 23 points,8 rebounds,2 assists and 2 blocks.Greg Oden recorded a double double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.Brandon Roy added 16 points,4 rebounds and 5 assists while other rookie Rudy Fernandez added 13.The fifth person who passed the 10 points was LaMarcus Aldridge,he scored 12.

Other rookie,the number 1 pick - Derrick Rose made a nice debut too.He finished with 17 points,10 assists and 6 rebounds in win against Bucks 119 - 101.Lebron James and the Cavs beat the Celtics in ECF replay - 77 to 76 including James gamewinning lay-up.

The Blazers smashed San Antonio



31st,October 2008.

The Blazers played one of their best games in the history.They left the Spurs with only 49 points - 89 to 49.The Spurs scored 11 in the 1st,11 in the 2nd,15 in the 3rd and 12 in the 4th.It was amazing game for the Blazers.They really outscored them.Greg Oden continue with his nice play in 2nd straight game.At the half he had already a double double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.He finished with 31 points and 17 rebounds on a perfect 14-14 shooting.Brandon Roy added 16 points and 3 assists.Nicolas Batum helped with 11 points,7 rebounds and 5 assists.LaMarcus Aldridge scored 8 points while grabbing 9 rebounds.He also stole 3 balls.Rudy Fernandez scored 11 points.
Roger Mason scored 14 points for the Spurs.Tim Duncan played 27 minutes and only scored 3 points.

Roy's 27,couldn't help the Blazers



1st,November 2008.


The Blazers lost for first time this season.They were beaten by the Suns.It was really nice game.Portland took the second 35 - 16 and after 12 - 23 in the first it was 47 to 39 at the half.The Suns won the 3rd with 21 to 20 and the 4th with 36 to 24.So 96 - 91 at the end for the Suns.Brandon Roy scored 27 points and added 4 assists but they couldn't help.LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 and Jared Bayless scored 14 for 7 minutes.Greg Oden was slowed down by Shaq he finished with only 9 points and 5 rebounds.Steve Nash finished with 19 points,5 assists and 3 rebounds on a perfect 3-3 from the 3pt line and 8-9fg.Amare also scored 19.Matt Barnes scored 14 for the Suns with 4 3-pointers but he might be traded to other team.And so that was..the first lose for the Blazers they're now 2-1.

The Portland TrailBlazers and Indiana Pacers has agreed on a deal sending Steve Blake to Pacers and TJ Ford to Blazers.The Pacers will also receive 1st round draft pick from this year.TJ Ford will start playing in the next game

The Blazers are back on the winning road.They beat the Jazz 89 to 75.The key to the win was the slowing down of Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer.Deron had only 12 points and 5 assists while Boozer finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds.Ronnie Brewer was the highscorer on the team with 14 points.Brandon Roy scored 22 points for the Blazers.Greg Oden was one rebound away from double double - 20 points,9 rebounds,3 assists and 4 blocks.Batum scored 14.LaMarcus Aldridge also played good game with 8 points,9 rebounds and 5 assists.The Spanish Rookie - Rudy Fernandez added 11.Tj Ford didn't make the best debut.He finished with 5 points,2 rebounds and 3 assists for 21 minutes on the court.
Maxim Vantchev told the press that he is delighted with the win and he talked about some rumors.He told "Portland Tribune" : " I want to guys in our team..no more..Andre Iguodala is one of them,but you know that we won't get him here because of Roy.And Derrick Rose,this guy will be the best point guard one day,listen me ! I want him in Portland !"

Tracy Mcgrady and the Rockets really played a solid game but they couldn't win.In the start of the 4th they were leading by 15 points but a nice comeback gave Portland the win.The Blazers took the 4th 39 to 20.T-Mac finished with double double 16 points and 13 assists but that couldn't help the Rockets.Ron Artest scored 26.Aaron Brooks also played a good game with 21 points.Brandon Roy was one of the reasons for the win.He scored 13 of his 21 points in the 4th.He added 9 rebounds and 5 assists.LaMarcus Aldridge helped with 18 points,2 rebounds and 3 blocks.TJ Ford scored 13.Greg Oden was again near to a double double but he finished with 9 points and 9 rebounds.The rookie from France,Nicolas Batum,added 8 points,5 rebounds,7 assists and 3 steals.After the game Roy was interviewed by the Portland Tribune :

Journalist(Kerry Eggers) : Hey,Brandon,what you'll say 'bout today's game?
B.Roy : Oh,im proud we won it,it was really hard game but we did good in the 4th and we won it.
K.E. : Yeah,you were one of the best in the game,we are seeing that you are in great form..
Roy : Mmm..yes we are playing good in the first games,we are now 4 - 1.Greg is nice addition after his injury,he's helping us a lot.
K.E. : Ok..and what can you say about the TJ - Steve trade ?
Roy : I think it was good trade for us,i like Steve but we were in need of a classy point gurad..and i think we found him in TJ.He is a really nice guy and he is very funny.We just can't stop laughing in the locker room after practice.

Roy's career-high leads Blazers to 5th win

The Blazers beat the Wolves in a very close game - 93 to 82.That was Roy's night.He scored 35 points which is his career high.He also added 2 steals,2 assists and 2 blocks.Greg Oden added 20 points and 6 rebounds for the win.Oden and Roy were the only players who passed the 10 points.4 players scored 6 points - Rudy Fernandez,LaMarcus Aldridge,Nicolas Batum and TJ Ford.Aldridge grabbed 11 rebounds.The Blazers were awful from the 3pt line,they made 9 shots but no one was in.One of the best young centers in the NBA,Al Jefferson scored 22 points,9 rebounds and 4 assists.Randy Foye scored 15.

Baron Davis and Al Thornton were announced as the new players of Portland Traiblazers.That was a shocking new for the NBA.TJ Ford + Travis Outlaw + '10 1st round draft pick + '09 2nd round draft pick for Baron and Al ?!..This is really a steal for the Blazers said all.The two guys were interviewed by our reporter Kerry Eggers :

K.E. : Hey guys,how are you,you just arrived ?
Baron : Yeah we arrived before 2 hours.Im fine thank you.
Al : Me too.
K.E. : OK,so..what you think about this trade ?
Al : Im really shocked..i mean it was like "BOOOM" and im now in Portland..i very like this team,i mean its full of young guys and we can do something bigger in the upcoming season.
K.E. : And you,Baron..just some weeks before you get back to LA,you are now moving to Portland ?
Baron : Ooh..yes..so now the truth..i just didn't felt better in Clippers,i don't know why.But now here i think i can help the team,with a lot of young guys..i will help them ! The Blazers lose in Orlando 100 to 91.The Magic led all the game.The Blazers were trying to catch them but they couldn't.Hedo Turkoglu,the MIP for the last year,scored 32 points(4 3-pointers) for the win,he also added 4 rebounds and 6 assists.Hedo was unstoppable in the 3rd,he scored 16 of Magic's 30.Dwight Howard recorded a double-double with 16 points,10 rebounds,3 assists and 3 blocks.Rafer Alston scored 17,he played 21 minutes because Nelson was in foul trouble.For Portland,26 points scored Brandon Roy.He tried to get his team back be he didn't make a success.LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 13 points and 8 rebounds.The newcomer Baron Davis,scored 13 too but he added 8 assists.Greg Oden played a good game - 12 points,5 rebounds,5 assists and 3 blocks.The other newcome,Al Thornton,scored 11 points,6 rebounds,3 assists and 6 blocks.So that was the 2nd lose for the Blazers they're now 5 - 2.

Lebron James is continuing his run for the MVP award with a triple-double,but the Cavs lost another game and that's not good.They're now 32 - 36 and they have to battle for the playoffs.The Blazers played nice game and won it 112 to 98.Lebron finished with 23 points,14 rebounds and 11 assists.The other MVP candidate,Brandon Roy,also played a great game with 25 points,9 assists and 4 rebounds.It was close game in the first half but in the second the Blazers win it.Greg Oden added 14 points for the Blazers.Baron Davis scored 16 and 7 assists.Mo Williams was the only one who tried to help the King,he added 18.
