SETTINGS:

o No 2k injuries but fantasy injuries using my Fantasy Injury Generator.

Current rosters up to Mikki Moore to Boston.
I did not want to play with Hughes and Wilcox and decided to go back in time to get players both of the last and current seasons.

Pre-association trades:

The New York Knicks...

-> trade C. Wilcox back to Oklahoma City for M. Rose
-> trade L. Hughes back to Chicago for Tim Thomas and Jerome James. Roberson remainded on the Bulls roster.
-> trade A. Harrington back to Golden State for J. Crawford.
-> aquire Bobby Jones and trade him to Denver for R. Balkman
-> aquire Antoine Walker and trade him and Tim Thomas to the Clippers for Z. Randolph and M. Collins. Had to do this as C. Mobley retired.
-> trade Zach Randolph to Golden State for Al Harrington.

NEW YORK KNICKS ROSTER:

C D. Lee
PF A. Harrington
SF Q. Richardson
SG J. Crawford
PG C. Duhon
6 N. Robinson
7 W. Chandler
8 J. Jeffries
9 D. Gallinari
10 M. Collins
11 M. Rose
12 R. Balkman
13 E. Curry
14 S. Marbury
15 J. James

I do not know what to do with Marbury. I could waive him but whom should I sign? Maybe I wait for an upcoming real signing. Or I keep him and trade him in-game but who is able to take his contract?
What do you think? What should I do with Marbury? Should I waive him and sign Q. Douby before the start of my association?

I could assign him to the Clippers in order to compensate for my Randolph & Collins <-> Tim Thomas trade. I could trade Marbury to LA and put A. Walker on the FA list again.

I cannot trade Marbury in-game. Nobody has a player with a similar contract and ratings. Before 2k`s official patch I once got a proposal of Shaq for Marbury but now he cannot be traded any longer. I do not want to trade others by the way and only a 1 for 1 trade would be possible.

I'll either send him to the Clippers and waive Walker for them before the start of the association or I force a fantasy trade with Marbury for a player I want, probably an ex-Knick. Randolph Morris. LOL What a fair trade. Or Tim Thomas?

Trade - before you start the association. His salary is big. So trade him before you start. :D

or

Release - if you want decent cap room, waive him before you start

or

Play - just play him, he's a good PG. Just wait for his contract to expire. (Y)

Because it was a fantasy trade. Walker isn't on the Clippers roster and I only signed him for them because the trade of Randolph and Collins for Tim Thomas (Mobley cannot be traded back as he retired) would have been unfair. Now the trade was Randolph and Collins back to NY for Tim Thomas and Marbury.

I played two games so far. In the first game I was behind by 20 but managed to win the game by 1 with a great fourth quarter. A. Harrington had 28 points and 11 rebounds. I played against Minnesota with an unstoppable Jefferson with 17 points and 19 rebounds. Harrington was great in the second game as well...most players have a low FG% as I have problems getting good shots but Harrington is simply outstanding. He has the IQ to get open and can score from anywhere on the court. After two games he also leads my team in rebounding. Lee is only second.

The third game is against Houston. I will use Curry as my team lacks size and I definitely need size and his big body against Yao Ming.

No, do not consider this as a game report. It would be very bad then, haha. :) I just don't have the time to write all the stories and post screenshots. I collect all data of the season and post them all at once on my NYK website at the end of the season. :) I will update the website at the start of a new season. My Association will consist of five seasons (or fewer if I should have bought 2k10 by then).
