haha I'm no expert but I've been fairly successful in trades. the key is try to be realistic, do not push onto others what you do not want for yourself. For example try not to unload all your bad contracts on memphis( :D ). I find more joy in trying to make realistic trades and I hope you will too.

I agree with gravy... Best advise is to look for a realistic trade. It makes the game a lot more enjoyable. If you just want to find exploits, which I'm sure are there, you could just use the override trade option and save you a lot of time.

Only trade if you need to trade. Trading just for the point of trading is (N) and it gets boring when you have the perfect team and win all the time. Trade when you are losing bad or need more excitment in your association.

because in nba2k9.when you trade the, others team interest in your players to be traded
is not viewed. that makes the trading not as good compared to nbalive series games.
you can see the chances of the trade to be materialized.

trading players is the best in dynasty or association.until you make your team perfect and win all the
games. But trading should be legal..hehehe, not forcing trades. forcing trades makes me feel im fooloing myself.

I have tried legal trades and it is very hard.thats why most of the time i do force trades.

anyway thanks for the ideas shared.

I usually trade players if they are in a contract eyar and I'm not gonna resign them If there getting old and not puttin up their usual numbers, to get some cap space , to rebuild which goes along with cap space , to have fun which is the reason you play the game
