Suns trade for Pargo

The search for a backup to Steve Nash was finished today when the Suns sent Gordan Giricek and Eric Piatkowski to the Hornets for Jannero Pargo and a 2nd rounder in 2009

Pargo, a scoring PG fills the hole that the Suns had in the training camp, while Goran Dragic decided to stay in Europe and Strawberry struggling, interim GM Viano pulled the trigger

In another move, the Suns signed PF Bo Outlaw for the veteran's mininum. The roster stay at 14

TEAM PREVIEW: Phoenix

The Suns are getting old... And slower

With the addition of the Big Diesel last season they put a brake in their high octane offense, with him and Hill at 36 and Nash at 34 it seems that the windows for their title is closing. It seems that is time to decide if the torch is passed but, is there somebody to fill in Nash's shoes?
With the addition of Richardson and Pargo they can make another run but they still have to beat San Antonio and the West contenders: Los Angeles Lakers

Record: 16-13 - 6th in West
Playoffs: 2nd Round

Leaders:

Points: Amare Stoudemire 22 PPG
Rebounds: O'Neal 9 RPG
Assists: Nash 10 APG
Blocks: Stoudemire 1.5 BPG
Minutes: Richardson 40 MPG

I won't trade Nash because in my ofensive system he's the most important player, he can open the defense and is pretty fast.
Hill i'm willing to trade... but I still don't know for who.
Shaq i think i will keep him because he can play and helps to develope Robin Lopez, who's going to be the next C of the Suns.

And I'm going to put Barbosa in the trading block, just to see what can I get

Thanks hova, what i saw in this 2 games is that Hill and Shaq get tired pretty fast, especially the Diesel. Barnes and Lopez are playing significant minutes of the bench.

I know that they are old but if this happens with Nash... I need a backup the next offseason.

Tough loss against the King and his squad but nice bounceback against two minor opponents. You need to win these games to make it in this league.

Pacers trades TJ Ford to Bulls for Gordon

Today the Indiana Pacers traded PG TJ Ford to the Chicago Bulls for combo guard Ben Gordon.
For what it seems, the Pacers decided to stick with Jarret Jack at the point and gave Tinsley another chance at the bench. Gordon comes to a team with Dunleavy at SG with Brandon Rush and Marquis Daniels in the rotation. Chicago pulled the trigger but nobody knows why, having Derrick Rose, the 1st overall pick of this year draft and Kirk Hinrich, why they traded for another PG.

ANALYSIS:

For the Pacers: Fair trade, they get rid of the TJ's contract and got one that expires this year, but they are weak at PG now, knowing the Tinsley situation. NOTE: C

For the Bulls: Bad trade, now they have 3 quality point guards to share the duties, and they have only Sefolosa at the 2, because Hinrich isn't the best combo guard as they want. NOTE: D
