Image
BYE BYE MELO! WELCOME JOE!

" I had a great time with Melo in our short time together here in Denver... I'm sad to see him go but i think the front office is just making some moves to put us in a better situation. I hope this move can help us get deep in the playoffs... We'll see."
- Denver Nuggets guard Allen Iverson

06/07 NBA Season starts but the Denver Nuggets is not done yet! Before it's first game of the season they dealt Kenyon Martin, Anthony Carter and Bobby Jones for Wizards Forward Antawn Jamison!

A NEW NUGGET

INTRODUCING THE NEW BIG THREE
After various trades the Denver Nuggets suddenly became a threat and a certified contender in the western conference. They have now 3 big time players who can score and defend as well. Antawn Jamison’s perimeter game would help the nuggets to spread the floor for other players. Joe Johnson have the ability to score and distribute the ball and this will take some pressure to Allen Iverson. And Allen Iverson who had proved the past years that he can score anytime he wants can now do other things other than scoring because of the acquisitions of Jamison and Johnson. Here is an interview with Nuggets Center Marcus Camby “ I’m excited to play with this guys… I’m hoping we will get deep to the playoffs and hopely win the Championship. I dont think the late acquisition of Antawn will affect our chemistry because i think he is a nice guy on and off the court. Right now we are a very strong team as you can see but we still have a lot things to prove. I maybe not in the “ Big three “ anymore ( laugh ) but I still can help my team to win.

Denver Nuggets Won It's First Game!

Postby Spoon_03 on Mon Jun 02, 2008 7:47 pm

Denver Nuggets’ Big Three win its first game of the season against the Clippers. Antawn Jamison score the game high 36 points on 12/23 shooting.
Nuggets backcourt of Iverson/Johnson combines 42 points. Elton Brand just scores 6 points 3/7 shooting in 28 minutes of action. Brand played limited minutes due to early foul trouble. Here is an interview with Joe Johnson. “ Antawn played great basketball tonight he’s shooting all over the court and he’s also going to the foul line. Me and A.i struggle from the field tonight a little bit but we just keep on shooting because coach Karl told us just to play our game and so we did. This is a good start for us and we should keep doing what we doing.” The Clippers got a little run early in the 2nd half and from that time the game was so close until the final minute of the 4th quarter.

How would he have Johnson if he would have kept Melo ? He gave up Melo for Johnson. But yeah, Melo is better played than J-Johnson, but well, Nuggets fail whatever they do.

Way to go Marcus!

" I like the way my players played tonight especially their poise... The Wolves came up and ready to play in the second half but my boys especially Allen didn't panic and thats why we came up with the W. Winning our first 2 games is a good start to us but we should keep it up especially with the "BIG TEAMS" in the West."

I think this is a pretty decent dynasty. Don´t worry after some time, comments will come. Actually I think I prefer this Denver´s roster over the real one.
