Jazz trade Andrei Kirilenko to the Wizards for Caron Butler, and Etan Thomas. The Jazz were looking around the NBA for a possible trade partner for AK47. They didn't see him in their future plans so they decided to trade him. In exchange they received a swing-man Caron Butler who fits in pretty good with the team. He averaged 17.0 pts, 5.5 rebs, 2.5 ast in 2 games he played with the Wizards this season. Also the Jazz received a good defender and rebounder in Etan Thomas who will be a backup to Mehmet Okur. Kirilenko averaged 7.5 pts, 3.5 rebs, 3.5 ast in 2 games with the Jazz this season.

Butler Arrested for Possesion

-- Caron Butler has been arrested for possession of marijuana and having an open container of alcohol, according to The Associated Press. Butler was arrested very early Monday morning in Boston, Massachusetts. An officer saw him walking on the sidewalk with the drink, and police found marijuana in his pocket back at the station. Wizards were handed a loss last night to the Celtics. Butler was traded during the game and he didn't know anything until the game was over. More news will be distributed as the Utah organization decides on what to do next.
