OFFSEASON

Draft lottery time

"We should get a nice place!" said Nate McMillan to Kevin Pitchard as there were gomeing places :
Denver 12
Chicago 11
Golden State 10
.
.
.
Portland 2
Washington 1
"As I said Second place yeah" shouted Nate.
-------------------------------------
Re-Signing time

I can sign J. Magloire and T. Outlaw.
"It must be biggest decision to make in my life" said Nate to himself.
After thinking about what to do then he called to Kevin Pitchard.
Kevin told Nate that you should re-sign both players as you can trade them elsewhere when they don't suit to your roster.
Nate did it and was truly happy with this decision.

NBA Draft 2007 :

Overall first pick was SF - B. Gardiner by Washington.
" I'm totally confused who to pick first and why didn't Washington drafted N. Griffits the player who is placed first in the ESPN mock draft.
No mather I will draft N. Griffit (ovrl 74) second round pick is Center Munoz 6.11(ovrl 59:( )

"I will get J. O'Neal" Answered Nate.
"I defenetly have to think about that but I think you just get youself PF, let me just take some calls." said Jim.

After 10 mins...

"Hello it's Isiah Thomas am I talking to Nate McMillan?" Asked Isiah Thomas

It looks like you're developing a very nice squad. The acquisition of O'Neal will help your team greatly. I'll also follow your Dynasty. Good luck ;)

First game 29th October against Dallas Mavericks.
"This is fresh team so we had our ups and downs but finally managed to win.
First quarter very mysterious many turnovers and not as pretty as I hoped. We lost first quarter 27:24. Second quarter was a bit strange and I did try out new squad that was all my fault that the end of the second quarter the score was 53:44. Third quarter as I talked to my team they started playing like never before Marcus Williams gave many ast and Jamaal Crawford managed to make many buckets. At the end of the Third quarter the score was 66:70 and we lead. Before the forth quarter I said to my guys that this isn't over yet so you can't just relax and rest now you have to push it more and more. At the end we win 90:95 good win for our team, this will certainly improve our team chemistry."
This was interview for ESPN by game winner Portland Trail Blazers head coach Nate McMillan.

First November game against Houston Rockets.
"The game was unbelievable. And much better than last one the players encouraged each other and it was amazing off course I can't leave Rudy Gay without mention he's forth quarter were that what we needed he scored 14 of he's 20 points in the last quarter he was absolutely in fire.
So first quarter was a bit strange we were nervous and made lot's of mistakes Houston uses all our mistakes and they did a run 7:0 then I called a timeout, it helped. Soon we cough them up and first quarter ends on the score 19:22 we were leading. Second quarter both teams showed nice game and score was 43:42 Houston lead. Third quarter exactly the same like second one very few mistakes and enjoyable game. We were able to get the lead 65:67. Forth quarter then it was going hot, hot, hot. I gave Kyle Korver a bit playing time and I don't know but started shooting 3 misses in a row we were back by 7 points I put Crawford back in and he helped us out again giving good passes and calmed down the players. So we were back by 5 points and then Rudy Gay hit two three pointers and made two dunks 10 points and we had a lead everything went as we wanted. We win."

Third in a row
Third November game against San Antonia Spurs.
"What can I say about first half it was amazing, truly amazing. Like a dream coming true. Before the game I was sure that it will be one of the hardest games of this season but it wasn't I totally want to thank Marcus for his incredible performance.
First quarter was amazing Marcus Williams was absolutely on fire he scored 20 of his 26 points in the first quarter. He was the key for this game it's for sure. He took 9 points from the free throw line and thanks for him Tony Parker got 3 fouls and Gregg Popovich had to take him on the bench it was the key play. Ok we won the first quarter 29:16. Second quarter was actually even better as now Marcus started passing so I had to take him out, it was been total shame for San Antonio. But it didn't changed anything Portland was on fire. We won second quarter 55:36. Third quarter amazing game continuous and we lead 75:64. Forth quarter was just polishing the final score so 96:82 Portland win.
This was interview for ESPN by game winner Portland Trail Blazers head coach Nate McMillan.

You should know he averages under 6 points and 3 assists a game. Definitely not a franchise player, no matter how much he looks like Deron Williams. Oh, and 16 points and 4 assists is an average line for a starting point guard. If he gave that every night, we can talk, but not when he is averaging 5.7 and 2.6.
