Hello peeps, I am new here, but well, I am going to give my best with that dynasty.




INFORMATION. -

I am playing the dynasty with new rosters, from 15th February, but I play it on NBA Live 07, so that means I am always one year behind. Hope it doesn't matter.
Alright, let's get to the business now.

Behind the stage, October.

4th October, three days to sign a good staff.
Mike is still thinking, just like the whole last week. " My team has got some talented players, and most of them are young, what to do ? What kind of a staff to hire ? Should I take one good assistant, assistant head coach, trainer and two scouts to get a good draft next year ? Well, it wouldn't be the best, because with James being a young and one of the best players in NBA right now, it is not guaranteed that we fail this year. Daniel Gibson, he is a really nice young player also, who can take the play very well. Ilgauskas, he is getting old unfortunately, let me think.. " That's what he has done for past 5 hours.

Mike is thinking on his chair, in front of his lap-top.

He finally got his mind clear, he will be concentrate on training the young players this season, and try to get straight to playoffs, where he could even do something. Two assistants, that's it.

It's the 7th October, now it's time to sign the staff. Mike has thought about his ideas, and he has found out what his team needs for the next year.

Mike is looking the list on his lap-top, he is mainly reconsidering his ideas.

The clock is ticking, time to work.

Mike is looking around the list, singing to himself, and the first person he saw was Andres Dickey.

Andres Dickey's information:

Mike is talking to himself again. " He asks 870k for 1 year, and he is 58 years old.. I'll try to lower his salary to 850k, and call him. "

Mike takes out his cellphone. As he writes the number in, someone is calling to him, he picks it.

A: " Hello, this is Mike Brown. "
B: " Hi, my name is Andres Dickey, a free assistant. "

Mike is really surprised.

A: " Well I guess you are looking to work for me ? "
B: " That's right. My idea was a 2 year contract, with a salary of 870k "
A: " Ooh.. I need to think a little, I will call you back as I have your number right in front of my eyes right now.. "
B: " Okay, I will be waiting. "

" I guess I need to talk to one of the team owners.. "

Mike calls to Daniel Gilbert.

A: " STOP CALLING ME ! "
B: " Hey, calm down, it is me, Mike ! "
A: " Oh, sorry, I am having problems with some people selling newspapers, they just keep calling me.. So, what's it about ? "
B: " Well, I might get a nice assistant to work for us. His name is Andres Dickey, and he is 58 years old, his speciality is defensive, and his overall rating is B. "
A: " So take him ! "
B: " He asked me 2 years, for 870k for a year. "
A: " Well it is up to you how you split the money, just take care of the team, I don't want to see you struggle it. "
B: " So, I shouldn't ask everything from you, from now ? "
A: " I will have an eye on the things you do, just don't get too hungry for power, alright ? "
B: " Deal, I promise I will do my best. "
A: " OK, have a good day. "
B: " You too, Dan ! "

Mike calls to the assistant again.

A: " Hi, this is me again, Mike Brown. "
B: " Oh, hello. "
A: " Well, the deal is okay from us, and if you haven't changed your mind, you will be working for us for the next 2 years. "
B: " Well, that's fine. I will give my best. "
A: " See you in Cleveland soon ! "
B: " Oh, right.. See you there. "

Mike is happy with the decision he did, he will take a rest on Monday (8th October), to find himself a good Asst. head coach on Tuesday.



8th October. -
Mike is sleeping, he feels that he will do it for the whole day. That's what he did, and watched some movies..

9th October. -
Mike wakes up, no feeling to rest at all. The clock isn't even 12 yet. This means working again.
As he goes for a coffee to kitchen, he finds some nice news from NBA.com. The Toronto Raptors have signed Dennis Vasquez.

He takes his coffee and starts looking for staff. His phone rings again.

A: " Howdy howdy howdy ! "
B: " G'day, I guess.. "
A: " I am a nice trainer, they rate me with D ! "
B: " Call somewhere else, I am looking for staff right now.. "
Mike hangs the phone.

He is looking for an Asst. Head Coach, and he actually found one.

" He is looking for a 3 years duration, in that time he will be 57, not young to be honest.. 1.26M salary, well, Deal ! " That's how Mike is talking to himself.

Mike sent a message to staff, and after 15 minutes he recieved a good message back, accepted.

" Oh god, I will take two days rest and search for both, trainer and scout, unless they search for me.. "

10th October. -

Mike opens his lap-top.
" Hmm, meanwhile there are a lot of staff signed.. "
Mike looks at his messages, and he has got two. A scout, AND a trainer, can it be even better ?
Mike smiles.

Both look good..

Scout Karl Bertrand is rated with C-, and the trainer, Sergio Menenez B-.
Both are cheap, so that means Mike can get one more nice assistant.

Mike sent a message back to both of them, and he had his all spots filled now. He was looking to get himself another assistant, but he took a little rest.. again.

16th October. -

" I have just 360k left, and there is one guy with overall rating D, but could help my big men a lot.. His salary is actually around 100k more than I can give him. Let's try it out. " And after that Mike has his phone, calling to J. Bruno.

A: " Hello from Juan. "
B: " Hello, this is Mike Brown from the Cleveland Cavaliers. "
A: " Oh, well.. let me guess, or even better, I let you offer 'laughs' "
B: " 1 year, 360k "
A: " Ummh.. Sorry, I'll have to decline your offer, your a little bit out of my cash exceptions. "
B: " Thought so, well, good luck with other offers, you can always call us if you change your mind. "
A: " Will do, good bye. "

Mike feels sad that he got only one assistant, but does it matter much ? He has a nice team and it will probably get even better with one good assistant, than 2 bad ones.

As the training camp is coming in next week, everyone from the staff has moved to Cleveland..

Staff hiring time is over, and Mike got a message from team owner, who approved the staff.

Behind the stage, October.
- Training camp.

The first day of training camp wasn't hard, it was about chemistry mostly.

Coach Mike Brown showed out himself also, looking over how his team is playing together, and it was nice mostly..

Mike didn't get out all he hoped, from Daniel Gibson. He had a lot of problems getting over with the team, and that could only mean one thing.. trade.

There were couple of more guys that can't get over with the rest of the team, including D. Jones, I. Newble, S. Brown, A. Pavlovic and so on..
That could only mean one, team is going to be turned around.. Mike was happy, because the young superstar, and the team leader didn't have any problems getting along with others, so that meant only good.
First day wasn't hard for them, since it wasn't so big training.

After the training week, the most improved ones were Shannon Brown and LeBron James..

The off-season was over, and it is time to go to the real thing, season !

Season opening game will be Seattle @Detroit, and the Cavaliers will be having a game on the second day. It is against Dallas Mavericks, and it will be in the home arena.

" This is going to be hard guys.. " says Mike in the cloakroom..
" LeBron, you can do it, you don't get 48 minutes like you thought, we give you a rest when we replace you with Hughes, Gooden or Marshall. Zydrunas, Varejao, you both get around 18 minutes with Jones having around 12. Gibson, I hope your shot is doing well as usual, if you are wide open shoot it, otherways remember, you are still a PG, pass first, remember it ! Alright guys, you can do it, bring the crowd out at first, I mean second, first get the lid off the basket, if there is one ! Okay boys, go go ! "

Mavericks got the ball in the beginning, and after the first minute the game was tied at 4, little later it got out of hands with Cavaliers trailing by 8, but then they followed the track back, with forcing Mavericks to take hard shot and passes, it wasn't much show, but fans are waiting for the third half.

HALFTIME REPORT:
Dallas: 62
Cleveland: 61

Players at the half:
Dallas: Jason Terry, 27 points, in a half ! 2 fouls and 2 turnovers.
Cleveland: LeBron James, 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 1 TO.

Dallas also has Josh Howard with 4 rebounds and 14 points, 1 rebound. Dirk is doing well also, with 11 rebounds in a half, 2 assists, 1 steal and 8 points, he also has made 3 of Mavericks's 5 turnovers.
Devin Harris leads the game in assists, with 8 of them, he also has 9 points and 4 rebounds, might be a triple-double coming if he stacks a little more of the glass in the second half.

Daniel Gibson from Cleveland has also showed over average performance in the first half, with 9 points, including one three pointer, and a sweet drive into the lane, but he has missed 2 wide open three pointers.

Cleveland has done bad with turnovers, having 8 of them against their opponents 5.

The best shooting performance is made by Dwayne Jones, with 2 of 2 from the three point line, including a buzzer beater which cut the lead to just one point in the end of the second half.

Comment from Mike Brown:
" The game was huge, in the end of the third quarter I almost felt we are going to win if this continues in fourth quarter.. "
Daniel Gibson scored his career high 32 points, including a 6 three pointers, 4 of them were kind a clutch ones. He also had 6 assists and 2 rebounds, including one foul and three turnovers.

Clevelands young superstar LeBron James scored 34 points, grabbed four rebounds and made one blockshot, also made 5 assists, 4 turnovers and 2 fouls.

The worst shooting performance came from Larry Hughes, who attempted 4 three point shots, and didn't make any of them, and shot 4 field goals from the attempted 11, he hitted his one free throw. He had 3 assists and 3 rebounds.

The player of the game was Devin Harris, with a huge play. He scored 26, 16 assists, 2 steals and 4 rebounds, all 4 rebounds were made in first half, and unfortunately he didn't make a triple-double as people thought at first.

What a huge play, 128 points and a loss. This game will stay in mind for the players for a long time.

New month, new news.

Mike is sitting on his chair, looking at the rosters of teams, mostly Charlotte Bobcat's one. He has been looking at others, but he can't stop looking at this, seems like he is interested in a trade.

Mike takes his phone and writes in Charlotte's Head Coaches number and calls him.

A: " Hello, this is Sam Vincent. "
B: " Hi there, Mike Brown here, from the Cleveland Cavaliers. "
A: " Oh, hi Mike. "
B: " Are you interested in Zydraunas Ilgauskas ? "
A: " Ohh, of course, we need a good center and especially like him, tall and strong. "
B: " So, what would you offer me for him ? "
A: " Anything special you would like ? "
B: " Actually there is.. Raymond Felton. "
A: " I'm sorry, we don't have enough salary cap space for this.. "
B: " Maybe Anderson Varejao ? And you would give us maybe.. a second round pick ? "
A: " I don't want to trade our draft picks yet.. just Anderson Varejao for Raymond Felton, is it oke ? "
B: " We don't have enough cap space.. "
A: " Well, I guess we can't do a trade, sorry.. Clean up some cap space and we will talk again, the idea was pretty itself. "
B: " Aww, alright. "

Mike is looking over the rosters again, this time he is interested in Allen Iverson, let's see what it takes to get two superstars in a team, with other stars.

Mike takes out his cellphone and calls George Karl.
A: " Hello. This is George Karl listening. "
B: " Right, this is Mike Brown from the Cleveland Cavaliers, hello. "
A: " Hi Mike, so what brings you ? "
B: " Are you interested in a trade ? "
A: " Of.. ? "
B: " Allen Iverson. "
A: " Hell n.. ! I me.. Ee.. I mean, he is our team leader in everything, it ain't easy for me.. what you offer, he isn't cheap for you. "
B: " Hmm, Ilgauskas.. Daniel Gibson. "
A: " And cash, right ? "
B: " Sorry, no cash. "
A: " Then something else, what PGs you got more on the bench ? "
B: " Snow and Jones.. Hmm, interested in Snow, Gibson and Ilgauskas for A.I ? "
A: " I need to think, give me a minute, I will call back. "

The clock is ticking, minutes are getting longer and longer, Mike is thinking, will he get himself a good team or not.. His ideas are going to be public when the next interview gets released, which is on the third of November. Finally, after 5 minutes which looked like hours, Brown's phone starts ringing ..

PG - SF = Team leaders, faster than others, more athletic than others, and better than others.
SG = A nice shooter, that can hit threes from the first minute to the last clutch minute.
PF - C = Hustle, PF getting the boards and rushing through the defense on a huge slam, while C is taking easily every board.

That's my wish.. Some of it might get true if the trade get's accepted, and that is not told to you yet, secret, only I know it.. ;D

Mike Brown picks the phone up, with hoping for a good answer.

A: " George here, we accept the offer. "
B: " Yes ! Good I guess, I hope you are doing well with the trade, tomorrow morning, we should all have a meeting, before our game against Clippers. Drive your man here, and come for what's yours now. "
A: " Will do. "
B: " Thanks, see you here George. "
A: " Right. "

Mike was really happy with the move he did, two superstars together, after a game or two, they will probably do really well.

The meeting before the game was nice, and everyone liked their new teams, and approved the trade.
ESPN also wanted an interview from LeBron James about his new teammate Allen Iverson, and they got it.

A: " Hello LeBron James, tell us what you think about the trade that was made yesterday. "
B: " Well, I like it, our team doesn't have a point guard like him, and he is what our team needed. "
A: " Do you feel bad about losing Ilgauskas, Snow and Gibson ? "
B: " Well, I didn't have nothing against them, but I don't know, I like to see AI here more than them, sad that we lost Snow though, but he was old aswell. "
A: " Thanks for the interview, this was LeBron James, a young superstar. "
B: " Thanks. "

Interview with Mike Brown, the coach.
A: " Hello Mike Brown, how do you feel about your new team, a big trade, right ? "
B: " Well yes, that's right. I feel that we have a big chance to go straight to playoffs with that kind of a roster. "
A: " Is there anything you don't like in your two team leaders right now ? "
B: " LeBron and AI ? Oh no, they get along with each other really well, and I hope we all can see some nice teamwork from now, and I hope the fans are not dissapointed. "
A: " Thanks for the interview, this is Mike Brown, the head coach of Cleveland Cavaliers.

" Okay, they can be strong, but they're overall is much more lower than ours. You have to take care of Mike Miller, he can do really well against you. "
The players are going, and Mike shouts LBJ and AI back for a moment.
" Guys, you know the stage is yours, and you are the win, and you are the lose, who are you !? OK, now go ! "

Players at the half:
Memphis - Mike Miller, he scored 25, grabbed 2 rebounds and also blocked 2 shots.

M. Conley has also showed a great performance with 14 points and 11 assists.

Rudy Gay has 19 points, 1 rebound and 1 steal.

Cleveland - Allen Iverson, scored 19, made 11 assists, and stole the ball 9 times, all this in ONE half, he is going for a triple-double for sure. He also grabbed 2 rebounds, made 3 turnovers and 1 foul.

LeBron James scored 19, made one assist and one steal, he has 2 turnovers.

AI and LeBron had a good game together, with 3 ally-oops, and show passes, but they also let others play.

Gooden leads the boards with 5 rebounds, he also has 4 points.
The only block so far is made by Varejao, who has 9 points, 1 turnover and 1 foul.

Allen Iverson, his game was really good, one of his career highlight games. He scored 35 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, made 19 assists, 16 steals and 3 turnovers,, all the turnovers were in the first half.

LeBron James also showed good game with 31 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block, he made 6 turnovers.

From Memphis, Mike Miller made his career high 48 points, who also grabbed 9 rebounds and made 2 assists. He hit all his 4 attempts from three point territory, and all 6 attempts from the free throw line.
Mike Conley also showed his PG skills making 20 assists, 28 points, 2 steals and 3 rebounds. He made a horrible record of turnovers, which was 15.

Kind a nice game I think, and from now I will start playing with 8 minutes, because I take the scores too big always.

Actually, AI has been in Denver for one and a half year. Also, I think I don't have time to work with this dynasty because of school and basketball (inreallife). I might continue it sometimes, as I don't have time to write all down, and even no time to play, just sometimes, but well.. I will do something in the weekends.

the story and everything is great, there's just one thing. your stats are a bit to high, like AI getting 16 steals( ) and 19 asissts right in the first game, and scores are a bit to high too.
