J. S.: We have a very good team this year with Amare back, but i think there will be some changes.
R.: Are you going to change some tactics with A. Stoudemire back or play same ?
M. D.: I have my some changes and of course we will try to play more pick and roll.

rl564411, Well barbosa is SG not SF, but i though you will ask why i starting with jones in front of diaw. Main reason is that i like to have Shooting SF on my roster. Like Suns had Tim Thomas at SF and Diaw at Center last year. With Amare back i want to play like those Suns. And in this year playoffs and season Jone started over Diaw in real life.

Reporter: What you will try to do in this match?
Coach M. D'antoni: OF course we will try to defend B. Davis and J. Richardson
R.: You will use double team ?
M. D. No, we will try to let them shoot from distance, because when they got inside, almost noone can stop them
R. But they can shoot as well as penetrate
M. D. I think contest shot is easier than defend from penetration
R. But now you have Amare back and he can dominate in defense again
M. D. He isn't in perceft shape, so we try to save him
R. Good luck for you
M. D. Thank you

Suns were crushed in overtime
Phoenix Suns 106 : 130 Golden State Warriors
Phoenix boxscore
Golden State boxscore

Image Image Image
Oakland, October 28 - All time Phoenix been chasing Warriors, but after amazing S. Nash buzzertbeater game was headed to OT. In OT S. Nash fouled out, so Suns without Nash and Stoudemire weren't able to do anything and lost.
1st quarter started with problems for Phoenix. S. Nash fouled 2 times in 1 minute. M. D'antoni changed Nash. Then S. Marion picked his 2nd foul and been changed too. Golden State saw that Suns game was messed up and taked lead. 18-6. But then M. D'antoni put back S. Nash to game with 2 fouls. Phoenix started to bounce back. Then he put back S. Marion. Unfortunally, S. Marion picked his 3rd and then Phoenix had a big problem. But somehow they played very well and score after 1st was 27-30.
2nd didn't say anything good for Suns. They was loosing again. After few minutes score was 29-38. At one moment everyone tought that Phoenix will comeback. And they decreased deficit to 1 point. But again, Warriors and S. Jackson show began. They run away from Phoenix 4-12. Then Phoenix scored some point again. Score after 2nd was 47-55. Players of the half was S. Nash with 8 points, 1 rebound and 7 assists. S. Jackson was star in Golden State He scored 16, rebounded 2, and dished 2.
3rd started with Amare. He dunked 2 times, then alley opp from Nash and GSW lead is only 1 point. But today Phoenix just can't take the lead. Again some sweet points by Jackson, Richardson and Gsw lead by 11. After that GSW just stopped to play.7 straight LB points and deficit is only 4. Then teams played with subs and GSW lead didn't change. 72-76.
4th started with fast lead take by Phoenix. Almost 5 minutes 1 points lead was jumping from one team to another. But then A. Stoudemire fouled out and GSW lead increased to 5. When there was left about 1 minute Golden State had 2 points lead. Phoenix tried to foul on A. Biedrins, but he maked bouth FT. Then S. Nash hit incredible 3 pointer. Score was 103-105. Phoenix fouled on B. Davis. He maked only 1 FT. Phoenix used their last timeout when there was left just 5.2 seconds to play. Ball was given to Nash. K. THomas made the screen and.. WHAT A BUZZERBEATER. S. Nash tied the game at 106. We are going to Overtime.
OT start was very good for PHX. But after minnute tragedy - S. Nash fouled out. Suns just can't do anything. just are getting crushed. Who wanted can go through Phoenix defense. GSW run was 0-10. Game score was 116-130.
Player of the game was Stephen Jackson with 35 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Lakers amazing comeback in 3rd wasn't enough
Phoenix Suns 113 : 106 Los Angeles Lakers
Phoenix boxscore
Los Angeles boxscore

Image Image Image

Los Angeles, October 30 - Phoenix all time had lead. But in 3rd quarter their just sleeped. Even then, they won nervous 4th quarter.
1st was good for Phoenix. They came concentrated to the game and did what they can do very well. Fast, early breaks. Sometimes Los Angeles wasn't able to get back to defense. But even scoring many points Phoenix defended like Los Angeles. Again A. Stoudemire was put on the bench with 3 fouls. Anyway Suns did well with K. Thomas at center. Score after 1st was 37-31.
After the 1st Suns tighted their defense. Many times Lakers players just stucked in Phoenix double teams, or just get offensive fouls. Even doing good at defense, Suns didn't forget offense. They runned 10-2 and score was 49-38. Suns didn't stop their defense, just there was something wrong with offense. Scoring was slow for both teams. After first half score was 62-50. Suns player at the half was S. Nash with 11 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. Lakers - S. Parker with 10, 1, 4.
3rd was tragedy. Suns stopped to defend, don't hit many easy shots. Lakers run was 4-13. Then finally few points by Phoenix and they up by 7. But again big run from Lakers and nothing from Suns. This quarter was amazing comeback by Lakers. Score was 78-83.
4th was very nervous. Suns didn't take the lead, but Lakers lead never been bigger then 5 points. But at quarters end few 3pointers by S. Nash and J. Jones and Phoenix taked the lead. When there was left only 1 minute Suns had 4 point lead - 110-106. Lakers tried to fouls, mostly on S. Marion, but he hit all free throws. After the buzzer, scoreboard showed - 113-106.
Player of the game was Shawn Marion with 25 points 8 rebounds and 3 assists

Amazing Amare 4th quarter perfomance leads to citory
Phoenix Suns 113 : 103 Dallas Mavericks
Phoenix boxscore
Dallas boxscore

Image Image Image

Dallas, November 1 - For Suns this match was almost easy and not nervous. That's very strange knowing Suns and expecially when they play against Dallas.
1st was very impressive for Suns. They defended well, they made quick attacks like always. PHX look like unstopable. Score after 5 minutes was 20-12. But then Dallas rune and Suns lead is only 1 points. Anyway even after that Suns played again very well and after 1st score was 32-26.
Early in 2nd Mavs retaked the lead and few minutes had it. Unforunaly for Suns Amare picked his 4th foul and was put on the bench for long. Even without A. Stoudemire Suns was able to take a few points lead. Player at at the half was S. Marion (8 pts., 7 reb. and 1 ast.) and J. Terry (14, 0, 5).
In 3rd Dallas again retaked the lead. But then lead bounced from one team from another. But when till quarter end there was left only 3 minutes Suns exploded. They run was 10-2. Dallas coulnd't stop them. Main run reason was 2 L. Barbosa 3pointer in a row. Quarter ended 77-68.
4th was very good. Suns were just unbelievable at defense. Offense was like always. Almost all attack was pickn'roll plays with S. Nash and A. Stoudemire included. Nobody stop Amare from dunking over Mavs defenders. 4th was very easy, not nervous. Suns picked 2nd win in a row. 113-103.

Player of the game was Shawn Marion with 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists.

Reporter. What's the feel after beating Dallas
M. D'antoni That's good but next match is again against Dallas, again in their arena. We want to beat them again
R. How you can rate Amare? He played only 19 minutes but scored 25 points
M. D. Well i think after that 3rd foul he was angry at everyone. I let him into court and he was like a beast
R. Are you need him like that in next game?
M. D. He could not foul that many times. We need him in whole game

Reporter What will lead Suns to victory?
M. D'antoni I think again we will try to stop D. Nowitzki. But now we will put some pressure on J. Terry.
R. That's always difficult task to defenf two key players. Are you are happy with last game?
M. D. Well, I think Mavs now will be more agressive, but if we will be able to keep Amare in game we need just same playing at both side like in last game
R. Good luck for Suns
M. D. Thank you

Almost balanced Suns game leads to 3rd victory in a row
Phoenix Suns 109 : 96 Dallas Mavericks
Phoenix boxscore
Dallas boxscore

Image Image Image

Dallas, November 5 - Suns showed very good skill at both end of the court and picked almost easy win against their biggest rivallry Dallas Mavericks.
1st started with Suns run 9-0. Dallas look like from a good party. They just don't played. But then Mavs waked up and score was 11-7. After that again monsterous Suns game and lead was 12. After that both teams played very good, Dallas just a bit better. After 1st score was 26-18.
2nd again started with Suns run. They leead was 16 points, but then something happened. Suns stopped to play. They just wasn't able to hit very easy shots, didn't work at the defense. And game was tied at 38. Finally few points by Suns and quarter ended 44-40. Players at the half was A. Soudemire (13 pts, 10 reb, 0 ast) and J. Terry (10, 1, 1).
3rd. Start with Suns run of course. Lead was 7. But then again few minutes without playing good. ANd Dallas first time tonight taked the lead. But nor for long. S. Nash was changed with M. Banks. And M. Banks exploded. He scored 8 points in a row. That helped to Suns retake the lead. Quarter ended 78-69.
4th weren't nervous. Suns just built their lead. 6th foul by Amare again meant trouble, but Suns did well even without him. Suns always had about 9 points lead and their main problem was hit all freethrows. But with Nash at the line there weren't any problem. He hit 10 of 11 freethrowns and killed Mavs. Game ended with score 109-96.

Player of the game was S. Nash with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists.
