wow, my first post here... hehe... here's the quick look at my key players...

kobe bryant - 33.4 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 7.1 apg, 3.13 spg, 1.02 bpg

kwame brown - 12.5 ppg, 13.2 rpg, 1.2 apg, 0.56 spg, 4.3 bpg

lamar odom - 20.5 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 6.3 apg, 1.6 spg, 2.01 bpg

I play it at Superstar mode, 29 games(playoffs at 7-7-7-7) and at 7 mins. only(so that the scores are somewhat real... hehe)...

my first loss was with the Utah Jazz... with only 1 point 103-102. kobe missed the potential game winner.

the second loss came from the san antonio spurs, 106-101. parker was left wide open in the arc... and that's the dagger

Lakers Top Grizzlies, 101-97, extend W streak to 7

Postby †Quazzar† on Sat May 27, 2006 1:04 am

The Lakers are continuing to play great team basketball, and continuing to gather W's.

Kobe Bryant finished the game with 32 points and 2 rebounds shy of a triple double and 1 steal shy of his careed high 7 steals. He also got a lot of help from his supporting cast. "We are just feeling good, feeding each others energy" Bryant said after the game. Lamar Odom continued to play like an all-star, posting 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists.

But the main reason for the win is the Lakers' bench, outscoring the Grizzlies 23-16 and sparking the Lakers offense in the third quarter. Sasha Vujacic and Devean George each hit 3 pointers and Jim Jackson added extra boost in defense.

"We just like to play hard defense this season, being consistent and slowing down the tempo to our advantage" said Phil Jackson after getting 32 points from the Grizzlies 16 turnovers.

Kwame Brown also got his share in the spotlight, after blocking Pau Gasol's shot with 35 seconds to play in the final period with the score tied at 97.

Pau Gasol led the grizzlies with 20 points and 8 rebounds

Hey are you playing the PC version? If so, I'd like to compute your proficiency stats for your mid-season!
