Playoff Simulation 2006

Fri Apr 21, 2006 10:26 am

Just like my last one, this is a simulation using current rosters (meaning no Amare or Damon - all other players will be back for the playoffs). Unlike last time, this uses the official playoff bracket. It'd also be more exciting if you don't scroll all the way to the bottom of this post right away. ;)

Cavs beating the Pistons is ridiculous.

Nuggets taking out the Clippers - realistic, also them losing to Phoenix tin 5 is quite realistic, but when u see Cleveland taking out Detroit is quite hillarious!

Well, at least it wasn't a sweep - a seven game series sounds more realistic. Pistons getting beat by Cavaliers? Not this year. The only teams out East that even have a chance of competing with Detroit is Miami and New Jersey.

This doesnt work at all unless the ratings are updated

Fri Apr 21, 2006 1:12 pm

hey no love for nj in this??? :(

swept by indiana

Fri Apr 21, 2006 6:29 pm

Cavs beating Pistons is less likely, the same with Grizzlies-Mavs
Others are quite realistic

Fri Apr 21, 2006 8:06 pm

There's the "Lebron superpower" in this game....
And NJ swept by INdiana...yes, the pacers may win the series...but a sweep....
Nice idea anyway...but i really hope the spurs don't win another champ...

Suddenly, a Cavs upset of the Pistons doesn't seem so bizarre.

Cavs vs Pistons is realistic, and that whats gonna happen in real life, Cavs gonna win the series
