76ers Dynasty

Alex Smith wakes up, does his usual around his apartment and runs to the mailbox. Alex Smith, the GM for Southern Districts Basketball Association, expects
a letter to arrive in his letterbox about the GM job at the 76ers. This was a massive step for Alex if he could get the job. But who would accept him as a GM
when he lives in an apartment and still pays rent. Little do we know when he was speaking with the current GM of the 76ers, he rented the newest Ferrari, got a brand new suit, put on fake gold, all to make himself look rich and wich will persuade the GM to give him the job. He opened the letter at it was from the
76ers chairman. He read it... and he GOT THE JOB!

Alex Smith the new GM of the 76ers!

On Sunday, Alex Smith went to the 76ers facility and recieved a great welcome from all the people there.
"This is the man that will be taking over as the new GM for the seventy-sixers!" the old GM said.
The crowd cheered, as Alex Smith got abit embarrased
"Thank you, thank you" Alex said in a professional kind of voice.
"I will promise you, and all the fans that I will not give up on the 76ers. I will bring them to victory like no other GM has done. I will guide them to the
playoffs with Maurice Cheeks our Head Coach of course and win them like a true champion would do."
"COME ON 76ERS!!!" he said with a big grin on his face.
While everyone was talking amongst each other, Alex Smith was shown to his new office and was introduced to 6 staff members which he
could choose from. 2 that were Assistant Coaches, 2 that were Trainers and 2 that were Scouts.
Alex Smith didn't really know who to choose so he asked if he could have some time to think about it and to read the resumes of them. An hour later he let everyone come back to the office to tell them who had been signed and who had "unfortunately" been rejected.

The GM made sure that he signed good staff. After the signings the NBA News had reported about Alex Smith's signing's and believed that he did a good job seeing as though this was his first time in the NBA.
Alex was happy decided to go home. He made sure there were no people following him to his crappy apartment. He took a taxi and was in luck that the cab driver didn't know a think about Basketball. He went upstairs and feel asleep like a baby. He was excited about getting the GM job at the 76ers.

Head Coach Maurice Cheeks had worked out this years training camp. It should focus on

30% on offensive drills etc.

30% on defensive drills etc.

40% on athletic drills etc.

Training camp was over and Alex Smith was happy with the player development. He was also delighted with Head Coach Maurice Cheeks' work.

He went to his new apartment which the team provided for him and feel asleep while watching the Basketball news on TV.

In the morning Alex got a call from the Head Coach Maurice Cheeks.
"Hey listen Mr. Smith, we got a match tonight against the Bucks."
"Huh? I thought it was suppose to be in 2 days, not tonight"
"Yeah I know, but they had to change something around with the schedule"
"Hmm, alright then I guess I'll see you tonight"
"Cya Mr. Smith"

The First Real Test

VS
Image
Tuesday Nov 1st, 8:30PM
Wachovia Center

It was the night of the first match for the 76ers and for Alex Smith in his professional career.
Alex Smith went down to the dressing rooms and wished the boys good luck and gave them some words of advice, then he went to have a seat and watch the match.
The 76ers walked out into the arena and they recieved a big roar from the crowd.

It was time for the match and the tip-off. The Bucks got the ball first thanks to their big man Andrew Bogut.

1st Qtr highlights for the 76ers.

It was pretty even after the first and the Bucks were up 16-14. Alex was calm and relaxed watching the game from his luxury seat.

When the 2nd Qtr started the 76ers looked more like a team forcing turnovers from the Bucks.

When the hooter went ending the 2nd QTR, The score was 46-32 for the 76ers and they got a cheer from the crowd as the 76ers went into the half delighted. Alex knew he was getting closer to the first win of the season as GM if the 76ers could continue like this.
In that QTR the 76ers drained 23 points with Milwakuee getting only 16 points.

The 3rd Qtr extended the 76ers lead even more and crowd starting acting like a cheer squad.

"Good win by the 76ers tonight"
"Yes we done good, we ran our plays right and we made their team commit turnovers"
"Well Done on the win, but onto another subject. What do you think about the new GM Alex Smith?"
"Yeah, he is a good man and for his first year in the NBA I think he is doing a great job"
"Thank you Coach"

"Coach, Coach Cheeks what do you think about your team's overall effort"
"As I said they all played good, but we still have some room for improvement"

Yeah nice idea, I prefer reading about actual game tho, not that the scrimmage is a bad idea, its a great way to spice it up, i just dont really comment on the scrimmages.

Are you looking at any trades?

Up Against The Pistons

Image
VS
Image
Wednesday Nov 2nd, 9:00PM
The Palace of Auburn Hills

Alex Smith knew that this match would be tough. The Pistons were a good team and they had their full lineup which was bad news for the 76ers. Although the 76ers had changed their lineup, They had put

in at Centre for

Head Coach Maurice Cheeks had a few words to the boys to get them hyped up and ready. They entered the arena and unlike last match, they recieved a boo
from the Piston fans, but that didn't effect Allen Iverson, he still had his earphones on listening to music before the tip-off.

At the tip-off, Ben Wallace jumped high, but it was the new starting centre that got possession of the ball.

76ers 1st Qtr Highlights.

The 1st ended and it was a low scoring Qtr. The Pistons lead 23-17 and they looked in charge.

In the 2nd it was a different story, the 76ers were on fire and the crowd were no where to be heard. The 76ers outscored the Pistons 19-13.

At the end of the first half the scores were 36-36 and it was a tight match.

In the third it was another tight Qtr, but the main stand out for the 76ers was the up and coming kid Louis Williams.

In the last, The 76ers and Detroit scored 20 points each with no real stand outs.
The Pistons win their first match of the season by 2 points. The 76ers were shattered.

Mr. Smith wasn't too happy with the result, but new that the season was young and that the 76ers could improve from this loss.

Andre Iguodala possibly being traded?

Image
Above: Andre in his 76ers photo.

After a shocking night from the free throw line, only sinking 2-6, and in the match. Andre Iguodala didn't even talk to anyone after the match.

"Mr. Smith, I have heard from numerous sources that Andre Igoudala is going to be traded" an ESPN reporter told him.
"Haha, Yes I have heard that rumour aswell"
"He has been a great player to the side and we cannot base him on one matchs performance" Alex Smith told the press.
"We are a team and we stick together as a team."
"Thank you Mr. Smith"

"Coach Maurice Cheeks what do you think about this?" a reporter asked him.
"This is the first time I've heard of that rumour"
"If we cannot do nothing to improve him at training, then we might see a place him on the bench for a while until he improves"
"But, he is a valuable player and in every other match he would sink those shots."
"Yesterday was just a bad night for him"
"Im sure hope that our GM Mr. Smith can see that his is a real asset to our team"
"Thank you Coach"

It´s a good dynasty, I like it, but you should not make yourselve relying on replies, do it as long as you have fun, the more fun you have the better your dynasty gets, the more replies will come !

Sorry people but I have given up on this dynasty :(
I most likely start a new one, but it won't be like a team thing. I will be an individual player.

Until next time
