It was the first game of the season for both Indiana and Houston and the Pacers having the home advantage.
Jason Kidd finished with 17 assists, and 18 points. And Shawn Marion effecting at both sides of the court with
32 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 steals.

And at the other hand Kevin Garnett who had 21 points, 16 rebounds, and 3 blocks. The talented sophmore
Ben Gordon had 29 points, and shooting 40% from behind the art.

[November 4, SEA Ticker
It was an sensational night for both Tracy Mcgrady and Jamal Crawford making 71 combined points. It was a shaky start for the Sonics at the first with the Pacers showing no sign of weakness especially with the "Fantastic 4" (Shawn Marion, Paul Gasol, Jason Kidd, Kyle Korver). At the other side of the court Shawn Marion and Paul Gasol making 79 combined points. But they could only be lead by the leader Jason Kidd who passed up 18 assists. After Jason Kidd was sent to sit down due to foul trouble the Indiana Pacers began to fall and Sonics finally had the lead.

At the 2nd half, Jason Kidd returned but was fouled out and had to sit out the rest of the game. Sonics tried to defeat the Pacers but Mcgrady and Crawford couldn't do it alone. Crawford making 4 out of 5 three pointers, and Mcgrady only missing 6 shots from the field, Paul Gasol at the other hand did the same thing (only missed 6 shots). Boykins and Diogu were caught up in injuries and that was the beginning of Seattle Supersonics downfall. And Shawn Marion Was just racking up the steals and the Pacers managed to have a lead.

  • Paul Gasol- I'm so excited with the team and I, were on a 2 game winning steak! I sense playoffs. Infact I can't wait till the all star break because with the stats I'm having I think it's a good year for me.
  • Shawn Marion- I've almost hit my career high but I was shy by 1 point! But Coach says I need to rest and sit out the next game. I think it would be better for both the team and I. Considering the score I think the team contains an unstopable force that gives our opponents no chance at winning.
  • Jason Kidd- I missed almost all the action of the game, at least I helped my team when I was needed. We might hit a new record. If the team makes a win of more than 23 we truly will be the best all time.
