A Few Interviews
Today, Sportz took some time to interview new coach Ludacris, as well as a few players on the Atlanta roster.
Ludacris
Sportz Magazine : So, how did you end up with this job?
Ludacris : Well, first I wanna announce that I am the team owner, not head coach anymore. Anyway, somebody associated with the Hawks Staff said they were looking to find someone who really cared for Atlanta, and that was me.
SM : Did you have any other offers that you considered?
Luda : Actually, I did. Chicago offered me a spot as the team owner. I considered both offers, but Atlanta was a better choice for me. They seem like they are younger and have more potential.
SM : Why did you consider Chicago?
Luda : Because I was born in Chicago. But, I was raised in Atlanta.
SM : Well, we thank you for sitting down and taking time to do this interview with us, and we wish you and the Atlanta Hawks luck.
Luda : Anytime.
Al Harrington
SM : How do you feel about Ludacris being the owner of the Hawks?
AH : I think it's a joke. We can bring fan's in on our own. He doesn't know anything about a NBA team. First Usher takes part of Cavs, then Jay-Z takes part of Nets, but now Ludacirs OWNS the Hawks? I like Luda as a rapper, but he should stick to his own thing. He's to busy to be the owner of the team.
SM : So, you don't like the idea?
AH : What did I just say?
SM : Do you think you will win any award's this year?
AH : No, I don't think anyone will. Not putting anyone down, but our team suck's right now, but we have potential for the future.
SM : Anyone you think will make the All-Star Weekend?
AH : Johnson will probably make the 3 Point Shootout. Josh Smith will go to the Dunk Contest. I also might go to the Dunk Contest.
SM : Any chance for a Playoff run this year?
AH : No. And probably not next year either.
SM : No confidence. Well, anyway it was good talking to you.
AH : Same here.
Joe Johnson
SM : After hearing the previous interview, what do you think of Harrington right now?
JJ : Not much to tell you the truth. If he doesn't have any confidence in our Staff, or us, he will suck this season. I hope he is involved in some kind of trade; better or worse for our team, I don't like him.
SM : Can't argue with you there. Well, how do you feel about Ludacris joining the team?
JJ: It's great! I love Luda, and him being from Atlanta, he really care's about this team. I think he will really help us.
SM : Well, sadly that's all the time we have right now. Joe, thanks for talking to us, and we hope you can be here with us again on another addition of Sportz Magazine Interviews.
JJ : Thanks, and I hope so, too.
