HOT Hinrich sinks Pacers.....Magic notch up first win

With Parker and Francis struggling to have impact the Orlando Magic turned to their Dynamic shooter in Kirk Hinrich for the spark. Hinrich scored 35 points coming off the bench and connected on 5-9 from downtown as the magic closed on the 10-0 run to defeat the Pacers 114-106 at the TD Waterhouse centre on Thursday night.
Steve Francis struggled forthe Magic only hitting 6 of his 19 shots and only had 2 assists, Dwight Howard again showed why is one of the best young prospects in the NBA with a great head to head display against NBA Allstar Jermaine O'Neal. Dwight had 17 points, 18 Rebounds, 6 assists and 6 blocks against Jermaine's 29 and 19. For the Pacers they struggled to hit from the field all night shooting 35-115 from the field and 4-27 from beyond the arc.
After the game Hinrich spoke about his great debut performance. "You know the coach just had faith in me and i just felt it tonight. I just felt i could give the team a lift and i am happy i did so".
