Knicks Cage Bulls 93-91

Thu Dec 08, 2005 4:58 am

Chicago,Ill
Coach Skiles is still shaking his head after this one as the bulls had a chance to win at the buzzer but kirk Hinrich's shot bounced off front iron as the New YouK Knicks held on to win a close one here in Chicago. the Bulls who jumped out to an early lead in the first with a multitude of fast break dunks that was just pretty to watch "We were in the zone that first quarter" says Bulls SF Luol Deng the Bulls led by 7 at the end of one and looked poised to dominate as they opened the second frame on a 12-4 run and had a comfortable 12 point lead midway thru the second then the Knicks showed up and Bulls went home the Bulls had two seperate 5 misses in a row and the Knicks caused 3 turnovers but even with a terrrible quarter the Bulls held a small halftime lead of 41-38 the third quarter was the worst thing that could happen as Hinrich picked up his 4 foul 2 min in "That ref was hounding me all night" said Hinrich after the game. the third quarter just got worse though as the Bulls couldnt find the mark and NY couldnt miss. then this game just got ugly as the Bulls rallied but after pulling within 3 with 2 min to go neither team would hit a shot the rest of the way out. the Bulls looked poised to rally coming out and tying it on Glenn Robinson's 3 12 secs in to the 4th quarter but that would be the last of Robinsons 24 points going 0-13 down the stretch the bulls had a chance as Stephon Marbury. who had 15 points and 9 assists, missed 2 freethrows with 3.1 remaining but Hinrich missed the 3 from the left side "i thought it was going in, it was the best look i had all night" Hinrich said as he left the Bulls Locker Room

these two teams meet again Wed Night in New York it should be a great game

*my record now stands at 21-13 l have lost 2 in a row at home (Sixers and Knicks)

Knicks nip Bulls at buzzer

Thu Dec 08, 2005 11:14 am

New Youk, NY
Coach Scott Skiles is happy to know that his team dosent have to face the Knicks again until April as his Bulls dropped another close on 99-98 this time though it was former Bull Jamal Crawford who's 3 at the buzzer sent the Bulls away with a 1 point loss to the Knicks for the 2nd time in 3 days. "You always want to perform big against your former team and thats what I did tonight" said Crawford. The Bulls thought they had things under control as they opened the 4th quarter on a 10-0 run and what was a tie game at 69 soon looked like it was the Bulls as Luol Deng had 14 of his Game high 29 points in that final frame. "i picked this team up and tried to carry them" said a dissapointed Deng. Eddie Curry had a big night with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds and Kirk Hinrich also added one with 10 points and 10 assists but once again it was not the Bulls night. The Bulls next game is a against the Celtics in Boston. Their Record stands at 21-14 and they are riding a 3 game losing streak. "Hopefully this ship will right itself with hard work or their will be a lineup shake" Coach Skiles said.

Bulls Rout Celtics 119-91

Thu Dec 08, 2005 3:22 pm

Boston, Ma
The Bulls seem to have righted the ship a day after Coach Skiles threatned lineup changes if things did not go there way. After 2 dissapointing losses to the Knicks the Bulls took control early and never looked back. "We Exectuded the game plan perfectly tonight" said a juberant Skiles "Chandler was just awesome in the paint and Glenn (Robinson) did a hell of a job on Pierce in the first half. Pierce was limited to 9 points (31 overall on 10\27) in the first half on 4\12 shooting and never contecting on a triple. "Glenn did a hell of a job i just couldnt get anything going and when i did it was to late" said an exhausted Pierce.
Eddie Curry notched his 2nd double-double in as many games with 10 points and 17 Rebs (7 off). Tyson Chandler won POG honors with 34 points and 7 rebs but said "that honor should have gone to Pat (Garritty) he came off the bench with ll points and some key rebs" the Bulls put to any rest that they were finally slowing down this season but there is still some concern that with all the players coming and going in Chicago that this team will never hit its full potential. one player speaking on condition of annoymity even went as far to say " i know im being shopped for a trading partner and everyone is so scared to screw up cause they now as soon as they do thats it GM Trump will get rid of you" the bulls next game is at the United Center in Chicago Vs. the struggling Hawks

Bulls Cage Hawks 111-85

Fri Dec 09, 2005 7:49 am

Chicago, Ill
The Chicago Bulls look like they have returned glory off the Jordan and Pippen days. this time though its Luol Deng and Tyson Chandler leading the running of the Bulls. the bulls latest win over the Hawks so both players score in the 20's (Chandler 28 pts and 8 reb and POG honors Deng 20 pts 5 assists). "were just playing well and we feed off each other" said Chandler in the post game meeting with the media. the Hawks (12-25) looked like they would take it to the Bulls early as they jumped on the board early taking a 25-12 lead at the end of one. Enter Luol Deng who exploded in the 2nd quarter scoring 14 of his 20 in that 2nd frame. Chandler put the bulls up for good 56-54 with 2 min remaining in the half with a hook over Karl Malone. the Bulls would open the 3rd on a 21-4 run and never look back after that Salim Stoudamire had 7 points and 6 assists in his first start of the season and Erick Strickland (signed just before the game) would lead all Hawk scores with 22 points off the bench. the bulls face the NBA Runner up Detroit Pistons in theie next game.

Bulls outlast Celtics 141-131 in Double Overtime

Sat Dec 10, 2005 6:10 am

Chicago, Ill
On a night where LeBron James was the center of attention as he made is much anticipated Bulls Debut. It was Tyson Chandler who stole the show with his carrer high 43 points and 17 Rebs to help the Bulls outlast the Celtics in double overtime. "It was supposed to be my night here in Chicago" Said LeBron (who had 30 points, 9 Rebs and 5 assitsts) "But Tyson came thru when we needed a big basket all night" trailing by 9 entering the 4th Quarter the Bulls erupted for a 21-12 run to tie it with 4 min remaining however Paul Pierce would get hot and score 12 of the celtics next 19 but Chandler would answer back scoring the 19 straight for the Bulls. However LeBron had his moment to shine as be blocked Pierces layup at the buzzer to force to overtime in the first overtime it was all Pierce who scored 20 of his Game high 52 in that frame however Kirk Hinrich would not let that ruin James debut as he scored 12 of the bulls 21 in that quarter and missed the 3 that would have won it for the Bulls at the Buzzer. "David West played me well on the isolation and it just didnt fall. the 2nd overtime however was no match as Lebron took over and scored the quarters first points on a breakaway slam and the Bulls held Pierce to 4 points as they played great team basketball. Pat Garritty was huge again off the bench for the bulls with 12 points including 6 of the final 10 hitting 2 big threes Kirk Hinrich would seal the win hitting 4 free throws in the final 20 secs that put the game out of reach.

Sun Dec 11, 2005 4:48 pm

Miami, Fl
On a night where the offense esploded with LeBron James scoring 62 points and Aaron Mckie throwing out 32 dimes Coach Skiles is still shaking his head after seeing his record for assists in a game shattered by Aaron Mckie. Mckie had 32 assists after coming off the bench 2 min into the game for the injured Kirk Hinrich who suffred a seprated shoulder after a collison with Dwayne Wade at the hoop early on. "I thought about pulling him when he got number 29 with 4 min left in the game but i thought well if someones gotta do it at least i coached the guy" said Skiles when asked about the milestone after the game. In other game action it wasnt even close with Bulls winning handly 146-106. Shaq had 21pts 15 rebs and D wade tossed in 17 points while James Posey had a triple-double with 31 points 12 rebs and 10 assists on the Bulls side however to go along with his 62(47 in second half) James had 7 Rebs and 10 assists and Mckie added 10 points and 8 steals to go along with his 32 dimes

Sun Dec 11, 2005 4:55 pm

Dallas Tx
This game was close then a blowout then close in a game that sent everyone with a heart problem to the ER the Bulls held on in OT to beat the Mavericks 145-137. up by 12 at the half the bulls fell apart and trailed by 10 opening the 4th quarter and where even down by 8 with 1:50 to go but in an unusual strategy they started sending Josh Howard to the line a record 8 times and he only hit 6 of 16 that led to the overtime where LeBron had to watch as Tyson Chandler scored 20 of his game 44 Points and Grabbed 6 of his Game high 14 rebounds In 4 Quarters LeBron tossed in 32 points and 6 rebs and 7 assists and Kamman missed a triple-double by one block with 10 points 10 rebs and 9 blocks for the mavs however Erick Dampier had 17 points and 13 rebs and Dirk added 25 and 10 and Jason Terry missed a double-double and a triple-double by one with 24 points 9 assists and 9 steals.

Tue Dec 13, 2005 4:22 am

Bulls feel Heat beat Miami 111-110

Tue Dec 13, 2005 1:41 pm

Chicago, Ill
In his return from a seperated shoulder 2 weeks ago Kirk Hinrich hit what he thought was the winning basket with 12.3 remaining but Wade was fouled and hit 2 foul shots to put the Heat by 1 and then again at 6.2 but James Posey hit a 3 to give the Heat the lead by 2 Hinrich finally hit the winning triple with 1.3 remaining. "i thought i won the game twice i was just glad that the last one fell and the lead remained" said Hinrich in the post game media confrence. Miami played great despite losing Shaq with a minute remaining in the first quarter (He finished with 4 points and 7 Rebounds) with a broken finger he is expected to be out 6 days. The Heat lead after 3 quarters behind another strong performance from Dwayne Wade who had 27 points (12 in the fourth quarter) James Posey once again delivered to the Bulls as he finished with 18 points 10 Rebs and 9 Blocks he is averaging 16.3 points and 9.3 rebounds against the Bulls this year. "I just get up to play the Bulls for some reason" said Posey when asked about his stats (9.2 5.3 season line). But once again it was Chandler and James stealing the show as they finished with 23 points and 9 Rebs and 34 points 4 Rebs and 9 assists respictly. "This team is playing great right now and they are tough to keep down" Said Coach Skiles when asked about his teams current 3 game win streak and 5 outgha 6. "hopefully we wont cool down until we lift that championship trophy" said Chandler when asked about the streak. the Bulls next game marks the return to Cle for former Cav LeBron James. "Im looking forward to it' He said when asked in the locker room

Bulls Laso Cavs

Wed Dec 14, 2005 6:50 am

Cleveland, Oh
The Bulls sweated this one out as former Bull T.J. Ford was fouled shooting a 3 with no time left on the clock and his team down my 3. He would sink 2 of 3 and the Bulls would leave Cleveland with a 130-129 win. LeBron James would score 27 in his return to Cleveland as Ford would chip in 22 and 6 assists. "im glad to get out of here with a win the fans were hassling me all night" said James who couldnt do much to escape the boos Tyson Chandler would lead the Bulls attack with 27 points and 8 Rebs while Kirk Hinrich would once again direct traffic with 8 points and 17 assists While Eddie Curry would notch his 31st double-double of the season Zydrunis Ilgauskus would lead all players with 33 points and 20 Rebs finishing 1 block shy of a triple-double and Drew Gooden would also chip in a double-double of 17 points and 12 Rebs while Larry Hughes chipped in 30 including 12 of the cavs last 14. "i cant believe i missed that free throw at the end, i have shot 98% from the line this year" said a disgruntled Ford as he was leaving the Bulls next game is against the Wizards in Washington

Bulls Wash Wizards in 110-87 thumping

Thu Dec 15, 2005 1:18 pm

CHicago, Ill
This game was never even close as the Bulls jumped to an early 26-12 lead at the end of one and never looked back leading 52-19 at the half and then allowing the Wizards back into it in the 2nd half by playing there scrubs and sitting the starters who had all there points in the first half. LeBron James led the Bulls with 26 points 1 Rebs 10 Blocks and 7 assists earning him POG Honors Tyson Chandler had 25 and 4 for the Bulls while Pat Garritty found himself somwhere new at the start of this game on the floor in his first start he had 24 points and 3 rebs. Antwan Jamison paced the Wizards with 17 points and 16 Rebounds while Antonio Daniels had 21 and Jarvis Hayes had 16 points and 2 assists

Bulls railroaded in 108-103 loss to Charlotte

Thu Dec 15, 2005 1:28 pm

Charolette, NC
Coach Scott Skiles is trying to figure what he needs to do in order for his team to win the close games " if we jump out to a big lead we might let it get close but we dont lose if its close all game we just cant pull it out at the end and i dont understand that" said an emotinal Skiles after the game. Losing LeBron James for much of the 2nd and 3rd quarters didnt help although he managed to post 25 points and 4 Reb while being limited by a sprained thumb suffered midway thru the 2nd quarter. Chris Kamman had his problems all night as the big man was manhandled by Emaka Okafor who had 26 points and 18 Rebs to earn him POG Honors. Tyson Chandler chipped in 20 points and 11 Rebs for the Bulls who seemed to never get control of the boards all night. "We are a big team and if we dont control the boards we lose." said Chandler in the post game confrence. Once again it was a former Bull doing his team in this time it was Tim Thomas whose 21 points and 6 Rebs werent much but it was his 3 with 24.5 left that put the game oughta reach. Kirk Hinrich chipped in 11 points and 10 assists for the Bulls while Rookie Ray Felton had 25 and 6 for the Bobcats .
