Postby iG® on Sat Sep 03, 2005 7:09 am

Hey folks! My first dynasty ever. As we're nearing to the NBA LIVE 2006, I decided this will be a 29 games dynasty, 5 min a quarter. I use
NLSC0506 modyfied roster, my custom sliders and 3-3-3 playoff order. Enjoy!

The Hawks blows the Knicks in season opener!

Image 51
Image 56

Although result differense isn't so big, Atlanta's performance tonight was a mix of granit defese and all around offense. That was enough for first win this season.

:: Game highlights ::

Wrong Way!
Q, couldn't find the answer tonight.
Image

Quenitin Richardson scored 11 points and grabed 5 rebounds in Knicks defeat in their 4th season game against Atlanta Hawks 51-56 at Philips Arena.

Highflyer!
J-Smoove proove tonight that he's worth of number 4 pick.
Image

Josh Smith collected 13 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist with tons of "Slam Dunk Champion" moves in 51-56 Atlanta win over New York Knicks at Philips Arena.

Big Shot Stoud
Salim was sure free throw executor in the finish of the game.
Image

Salim Stoudemire scored last 4 points from the free throw line for the Hawks, finishing with 7-2-2 statistic
in just 10 minutes of playing time in Atlanta win over the Knicks at Philips Arena.

:: Pre game notes::

Starting lineups for the Hawks | Starting lineups for the Knicks

PG- Joe Johnson | PG- Nate Robinson
SG- Josh Smith | SG- Jammal Crafword
SF- Marvin Williams | SF- Quentin Richardson
PF- Al Harrington | PF- Malik Rose
C- Zaza Pachulia | C- Chanin Frye

INJURYES: Stephon Marbury missed game because of sprained wrist.

:: 1st Quarter ::

First quarter started with granite defense and spectacular offense shown by the Hawks. New York Scored only 9 points in that period.
20-9 was the final result and the leading scorer on both sides was Joe Johnson, starting PG for Atlanta. Good roles also had Al Harrington
as well as Josh Smith who pumped up crowd with couple of impressive dunks.

:: 2nd Quarter ::

Marvin Williams dominated in this quarter. With couple mid range scores and smoove assists, he has shown he wasn't 2nd pick accidently. Al dominated in air, and other Hawks' players too so three of them had same number of boards at the half. Stoudemire and Childress were decent backups for JJ and Smith. Half time show started with 31-15 lead for Hawks. New York scored only 6 points in this quarter.

:: 3rd Quarter ::

This one belonged to J-Smoove. He scored 7 of his 13 points in this period, also making blocks and grabing rebounds. He ended game with 13 points and 6 boards and assisting once. Other starters were resting on the bench, so the Knicks punished Atlanta by scoring 16 points in this quarter, with 10-0 run.

:: 4th Quarter ::

Nate Robinson was unstopable doing it all, driving in, assisting, scoring in 4th quarter too... New York was great at the start of this period so they made it even, 41-41. Then starters were back on the floor, breaking this game in to Atlanta favour.

:: Man of the Match ::

Al Harrington- 13P, 8R, 2A, 1B, 1S, 1TO, 17 mins.

Next game, Atlanta plays at home again, and they're hosting mighty Rockets, with Yao and T-Mac at front.

Hey Lpasso, you started a great Dynasty. Good luck with Hawks. PS: Try to trade Harrington for some powerful big man. I think you would have enough cap room to sign Curry, Chandler or some of those free agents. (Y)

Thanks for the comments guys, it's appreciated. Cervantes, I think I won't make trades this season, just because of reality.

Atlanta's lose against powerful Rockets

November 9th, 2005, Atlanta, Georgia.

Image 62
Image 57

Houston Rockets showed why most of the basketball experts put them in top 5 on the West. They easly beat Atlanta and now the're at 4-3 score.

:: Game highlights ::

Sure thing!
T-Mac was unstopable in first half.
Image

Tracy McGrady easly scored 13 points and grabed 6 rebounds before he went to the bench. Houston Rockets beat Atlanta 57-62 at Philips Arena.

One team, one man
M-Will was a man on a mission, only he, and noone else.
Image

Marvin Williams (24) scored team high, 15 points and collected 4 boards, in Atlanta Hawks defeat aginst Houston Rockets 57-62 at Philips Arena.

Like a Rocket!
Stro had couple monstorous dunks tonight and was in air "whole night".
Image

Stromile Swift had a good performance before his back injury in 4th quarter. 6 points, 7 rebounds and one assist was enough from him for the Rockets to beat Atlanta at Philips Arena.

:: Pre game notes::

Starting lineups for the Hawks | Starting lineups for the Rockets

PG- Joe Johnson | PG- Bob Sura
SG- Josh Smith | SG- Derek Anderson
SF- Marvin Williams | SF- Tracy McGrady
PF- Al Harrington | PF- Stromile Swift
C- Zaza Pachulia | C- Yao Ming

INJURYES: Team were complete at the start of the game. Later, in second quarter Josh Smith got leg injury and was out for the game, while Swift received strong punch in the back in 4th quarter but it was nothing serious.

:: 1st Quarter ::

T-Mac scored almost half of Houston points (7), and Atlanta was still breathing thanks to Joe Johnson, who scored 5 points of Hawks' 12. At the end of the quarter, score was 12-15, which wasn't real reflection of what was going on the floor.

:: 2nd Quarter ::

Marvin Williams played hard defense on McGrady. T-Mac scored only two points in this period and on other side, Jason Collier came in from bench at put it in 7 points. Better play by the Hawks resulted with 16-15 lead. Then Josh Smith had to visit the doctor due to leg injury which cost him not playing in this game anymore. Josh Childress was SG and he didn't fit in very well, so Derek Anderson, Houston SG, grabed 2 offensive rebounds (5 total in this quarter). It ended with 30-25 lead for the Rockets.

:: 3rd Quarter ::

Marvin Williams again played well in third period. He scored his 7 of total 13 points in this one, which lead to 41-40 lead for the Hawks. Tracy McGrady was guarded very well again, but Bob Sura make that up. His 6 points returend lead to Houston and final score at the end was 41-44.

:: 4th Quarter ::

Atlanta couldn't do anything to get back the lead, and bench players didn't had their night. Salim, after terific game against New York, had only 3 points, shooting outside 7.25 line, terrible 1/5. When everything was decided, Houston fans probably faced with "droping lower jaw" effect. Swift received strong bunch in the back, but after medical review, evrything was fine like Dr. Jackson said.

:: Man of the Match ::

Bob Sura- 14Pts, 1Rebs, 2Ast, 0Blk, 1Stl, 0TO, 15 mins.

Atlanta Hawks loose in tight finish

November 15th, 2005, 7.30pm, Milwaukee, Winsconisn.

Image 54
Image 56

Milwaukee Buks won, although it could have been other way, cause of making rookie mistake at the end of the game.

:: Game highlights ::

Looking in same direction!
No.1 and No2. picks are sure passengers to Houston.
Image

Andrew Bogut (6) and Marvin Williams (24) watch in ball direction as Jason Collier grabs a rebound in fron of them. No1. pick Bogut and No2. pick Williams both had good roles tonight, making sure they'll be in starting lineups in Rookie vs. Sophomore match. The Bucks beat Atlanta 56-54 at Bradley Center.

Scoring machine, oh no, it's Redd!
Michael couldn't miss in 2nd qarter.
Image

Michael Redd scoring two of his 12 points in second quarter against Atlanta at Bradley Center. The Buck won 56-54.

Looking further!
J-Smoove was in different role then usual.
Image

Josh Smith, making one of his 6 assists against Milwaukee Bucks. He added 6 points and 3 boards in Atlanta defeat 56-54 at Bradley Center.

:: Pre game notes::

Starting lineups for the Hawks | Starting lineups for the Bucks

PG- Joe Johnson | PG- T.J Ford
SG- Josh Smith | SG- Michael Redd
SF- Marvin Williams | SF- Desmond Mason
PF- Al Harrington | PF- Joe Smith
C- Zaza Pachulia | C- Andrew Bogut

INJURYES: -

:: 1st Quarter ::

Milwaukee started very agressive and it resulted with 9-0 run. The Hawks couldn't find themselves and coach Mike Woodson called for a time-out. After couple of minutes, the Hawks had lead 12-11 thanks to Marvin Williams' 6 points. Ford scored at buzzer and result after 1st quarter was 13-12 for the Bucks.

:: 2nd Quarter ::

In this period, it was score for score. Michael Redd on one side and Joe Johnson on the other. Very good play has been shown by Zaza Pachulia, former player of the Bucks, who grabed 7 rebound by the end of the half. Half time ended with 30-27 lead for Milwaukee.

:: 3rd Quarter ::

Nothing spectacular hasn't been seen in this quarter. Bogut was scoring for the Bucks and Marvin Williams for Atlanta. 3 more rebounds by Pachulia and Josh Smith decided to play for the team, adding 3 from his 6 assists in this part of the game.

:: 4th Quarter ::

This is the most interesting period of this game. Result sewsaw continued untill Redd scored couple of mid-ange shoots. But at the 0.56 before the end of the game, Atlanta makes couple of off. rebounds, easy layups and score was 56-52 for Milwaukee 1.6 sec. before end of the game. Atlanta calls a time-out. Ball goes to JJ who made a pump fake, then shoot, he missed, but it was foul by Redd! 0.7 seconds left. Johnson scores, first, second and purposely missing last one, Collier grabs it, making quick shoot, but he was blocked by Bogut and Smith! Whole Atlanta bench jupmed asking for foul but everything was over.

:: Coach's corner ::

"Definately it was a foul!", coach Woodsn said "Two points and a miss+offensive rebound was our only option, we did it all, but we couldn't score. Why? Because it was a foul! I'm really disappointed with this defeat, we could, and we should win" he added, pointing that Atlanta is totaly focused on their next match.

What's new? Hawks looses again!

November 16th, 2005, 1.00pm, New Jersey, New York.

Image 85
Image 90

New Jersy Nets controled every single minute, from start to the end, of this game. They had lead all the time, 18 points most, and now they have 6-4 record.

:: Game highlights ::

Lonely star
Al had very good performance tonight, but he can't do it all alone.
Image

Al Harrington dunking the ball in first quarter of Atlanta Hawks' match against Newy Jersey Nets. This is one of his five dunks in first quarter. New Jersey won 90-85 at Continental Airlines Arena, New York.

Vinsanity, do we have to say more?!
VC has his night. He was like from old days.
Image

Vice Carter(15) makes a three point shot for New Jersey against Atlanta Hawks. he scored 1.05 minutes before end of the game and those points were vital for the Nets. They won 90-85 at Continental Airlines Arena, New York.

Like a first rounder!
S.Stoud was sixth man for the Hawks tonight.
Image

Salim Stoudemire makes one out of his five three pointers, shooting 5/6 outside the arc, in Atlanta's defeat against Newy Jersey Nets at Continental Airlines Arena, new York.

:: Pre game notes::

Starting lineups for the Hawks | Starting lineups for the Nets

PG- Joe Johnson | PG- Jason Kidd
SG- Josh Smith | SG- Vince Carter
SF- Marvin Williams | SF- Richard Jefferson
PF- Al Harrington | PF- Cliff Robinson
C- Zaza Pachulia | C- Nenad Krstic

INJURYES: -

:: 1st Quarter ::

Both teams were on fire, especialy the Nets. jason Kidd was really nervous and Zoran Planinic steped in and scored 9 points in this quarter. On the other side, Al Harrington scored 8 points and made two assists but rest of starting lineup hasn't been really sunny for play. New Jersey led by eight, 28-20 at the end of period.

:: 2nd Quarter ::

This quarter was a nightmare for the Hawks. But, they started really good. With 11-0 run, they were close to tide, but Richard Jefferson and guys from the bench (McInnis, Wright) prevailed game in to the Nets favour. At the end of period, it was 46-37 for them.

:: 3rd Quarter ::

If 2nd quarter was a nightmare, what should we say for third. Marc Jackson came in and became a lead rebounder for the nets, grabing 8 rebounds in this period. RJ was on fire and other starters too. Only player in Atlanta who was playing basketball was Al Harrington. He ended this part of the game with 14 points and 7 boards. 70-52 at the end.

:: 4th Quarter ::

In this part, Vince Carter took ball and did everythiong he wanted to. Others were just watching. Then, unwell Atlanta starters were benched, and Salim & Co. were taking the break. Stoudemire was unstopable from the three point line, shooting 5/6. Tight defense brought them 71-76 arrear. It wasn't enough, because the Nets were hitting from all positions. Last vince was at 85-90 for the Nets, but they couldn't do anything except to foul Jefferson who scored both times and that ended game.

:: Players's corner ::

"We're not going to well", Josh Smith said, who had only four points tonight, "I thought we're making some conclusions after last two defeat (Mil, Hou), but I'm wrong obviously. We always let other team to lead the game. That's wrong. We gotta play better, it's simple", Smith locked, but he forgot to mention his miserable performances last couple of games.

:: Man of the Match ::

Vince Carter- 21 Pts, 5 Rebs, 4 Ast, 1 Blk, 0 Stl, 5 TO, 22 mins.

:: Box Score ::

Atlanta Hawks | New Jersey Nets
