The Cleveland Cavaliers have fired current GM Jim Paxson and have appointed new General Manager Zmac Mousoulis,
who will also be Asst Coach, behind Mike Brown

Heres the press conference:
"We would like to announce the new General Manager of the Cleveland organization, Zmac Mousoulis." Dan Gilbert.

Zmac: "Firstly Id like to thank Owners and Friends Dan Gilbert and Usher Raymond who were looking for some help to
turn this franchise around and decided on hiring me.
Im not going to be a quite manager, I will have my PC close and will be giving all Cavs fans updates as the season progresses.

Dan and Usher had some more news to tell you but they thought they would let me do it.
They have decided that I will also be there right next to Coach Mike Brown on the sidelines as Asst Coach. I will do the best I can to turn this franchise around.

I am looking forward to the being the GM and Asst Coach of the Cavs and I assure you that we will be a much better
team than previous years."

The NBA has released the format of the season.

Today we had the press conference to introduce me and do all that stuff. But it had been 4 days on the job
and I wasnt planning on waiting for the press conference before I started doing things.
On the first day as GM, I hired 2 assistant GMs who will help me with making decisions for the franchise.
Then as soon as that was done I started talking to Big Z about re-signing him, which was no worries. He
really wanted to be here and we feel the same way.

With that out of the way we still had around 18mil in salary left, and thats when we started Free Agent
hunting. Ray Allen and Michael Redd resigned with their current teams, and Joe Johnson wanted too high
a price.
Then the idea of signing Larry Hughes came along, and I thought he would be a better fit than the others.
It only took 20 minutes until he said to send him the contract for him to sign. We gave him a five-year
60mil contract, 12mil a year.
Today we announced it, but that wasnt all.

We needed a 3 point shooter and we wanted a taller player and we decided that Donyell Marshall was
that guy. To our surprise he was in Cleveland with his family and as soon as he heard we wanted him,
he was real happy and signed a 4 year contract.

Today Donyell and Larry were here in Cleveland and they spoke to the press and got their jerseys.
These guys are going to help turn this franchise into a playoff contender.

I look forward to the upcoming season.

Some of you guys might have seen that I had finished my first game and posted all the stuff and wondering why i took it off....

well ive decided to wait another week or two maybe three and make the rosters as updated as possible, because in this dynasty i did, Shareef was in NJ, Joe Johnson was in Atlanta, and other things werent updated.

Therefore I think it will much better if I wait and see what else happens and I have it as updated as possible.

Thanks for the support....i cant wait to get it started.
