Jason Kidd was on the IR but the Nets still gave me a run for my money. Rodney Buford was their leading scorer with 17 points but Zoran Planinic hit some key shots to keep them in game. Zo had a good game with 8 points and 3 rebounds considering he got them in 7 minutes. Richard Jefferson was ineffective but still hit some key shots for the Nets.
Tyson Chandler suffered an injury that will keep him out six weeks and that really annoys me. He's a cornerstone for my team. Kirk Hinrich had a way off game with his poor shooting but still managed a 14 point, 8 assist game. Eddy Curry was a pleasant surprise taking down 18 rebounds in conjunction with 17 points. Antonio Davis, Eric Piatkowski, and Luol Deng were instrumental in my victory.
Eddy Curry was player of the game with 17 points, 18 rebounds, and 5 assists in 40 minutes.

Very good dynasty
But you can´t post the box scores in code, it isn´t good...
Try posting the boxes in other format.

How do you suggest I do it? I have the box scores from the next three games in the schedule ready to post but I want to make them look presentable.

Or you could take screens of the box scores, just press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard and then minimise Live 05 and paste in paint or photoshop etc.

Thanks for your advice fellas.
Anyway, here's an update. November 6th, 2004.
Indiana Pacers:
Jermaine O'Neal had a phenomenal game with 34 points and 16 rebounds. He was even fortunate enough to hit a 3-pointer. Despite his amazing effort, he couldn't carry his team to a victory due to the lack of production from Ron Artest. He found himself with 4 fouls early and was never able to play as much as he wanted to. Stephen Jackson and Jamaal Tinsley combined for 29 points in tandem.
Chicago Bulls:
Kirk Hinrich had an all-star performance with 28 points, 8 assists, and 5 rebounds helping his team to a well earned victory. Antonio Davis has an astonishing game with 24 points and 13 rebounds while taking over for the injured Tyson Chandler. Luol Deng and Ben Gordon combined for 28 points, 6 assists, and 11 rebounds. They're demonstrating their overall ability to handle the ball and play defense rather nicely for Scott Skiles. Eddy Curry had a reduction in production from his last game but still played extremely well posting 13 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Player of the Game - Jermaine O'Neal w/36 points, 16 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block in 36 minutes. He shot 16-31 from the field.
Mon Nov 22, 2004 1:54 pm
Here's my game against the Suns to keep you riveted.
Phoenix Suns:
It was all Steve Nash in this one. He showed his true chemistry in this game. Despite his spectacular 30 points, it wasn't enough to lift his team to a victory. Shawn Marion had an off game shooting 33% from the field and managed to gain a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. Amare Stoudemire fared better than Marion shooting 66% from the field and posting an 18 point, 12 rebound outing. Quentin Richardson also had a respectable evening with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Chicago Bulls:
Antonio Davis had another impressive outing for the Bulls. He had 18 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, and earned Player of the Game honors. Ben Gordon demonstrated that he can be a force on the rebounds when he wants to be by grabbing 8 rebounds along with 13 points. Kirk Hinrich continued his shooting woes by going 4-31 from the field. Despite his bad day shooting, he still managed 13 points and 7 assists. Andres Nocioni had a very good game off the bench with 14 points and 7 rebounds.
Player of the Game - Antonio Davis w/18 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.

that's an interesting way to post the boxscores. i personally like it alot- but just to let you know, i don't know if you thought you were following their suggestions, but they were talking about an in-game shot of the boxscore. nice start to your dynasty though.

Breaking News!!!!
Rumors out of the Chicago GM's office have been confirmed. Keon Clark, formerly of the Sacramento Kings, has signed a 5 year/$16.40 million contract with the Bulls.
"I'm ecstatic to be given a chance with another NBA club. I hope that I can bring success to the Bulls and contribute in any way I can," said Clark in an interview after the press conference announcing his addition to the club.
Scott Skiles reports that he will suit up when the Bulls play the Clippers on the 13th.
Clark was contacted upon Antonio Davis' request of having relief from his new role as the starting power forward for the injured Tyson Chandler.

you're a great journalist.

keep it up.....and i don't know if i speak for everyone, but a graphic here or there might be a nice addition, even if it's just a bulls logo...and maybe you could use a different color and size for your headlines, just so it's easier to read. i'm not criticising, because i love what you're doing, these are just maybe some things to make it even better.
commiting for 5 years to keon clark

...oh my....are you really going to use him all that much when chandler is back? hm.....good luck!

Here's the November 13th game against the Clippers.
Los Angeles Clippers
Elton Brand was on top of his game against his former team. He posted 24 points and 12 rebounds in 29 minutes. He shot a season high 75% from the field. Corey Maggette posted a walloping 30 point and 7 rebound game. Marko Jaric had an off-game shooting 6-23 from the field. Bobby Simmons played a season high 43 minutes. Shaun Livingston, 4th overall pick in this year's draft, played 10 minutes without posting a single point. Chris Wilcox fell two points short of a double-double night with 8 points and 18 rebounds.
Chicago Bulls
Eddy Curry is riding high off of his early success this season. He posted a 26 point and 18 rebound game. That's his career best and he's showing signs of true greatness. Antonio Davis fell one rebound shy of a double-double with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Kirk Hinrich broke his cold shooting streak by shooting 9-12 and posting 27 points and 7 assists tonight. Ben Gordon posted another solid evening with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Luol Deng had a similar game to Gordon except he posted 6 rebounds and 11 points instead. The newest addition, Keon Clark, had an 11 point and 5 rebound outing in 13 minutes of play.
Player of the Game - Eddy Curry w/26 points, 18 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.

Well, I just look to bring the facts. Flashy takes too much time and effort.

As for Keon Clark... I will be using him a lot. Either for barter or for minutes is yet to be seen.

Tyson Chandler is just to injury prone so I might unload him or change his position to center and have him back-up Curry. As you can see, Curry doesn't need it. He's posting Shaq-ish type numbers. This is as far as you've seen and I've played a lot of games. I'll probably spare you the journalism and post the stats to catch up and resume with my new type of journalism.

I wasn't the end of December, it was November so that's my bad! As for adding flair, I'm still trying to think of ways to do that so until I do, the games are on hold. I just wanted to update whoever's reading as to the status with all of those box scores.
This dynasty is in full swing though.

Brent Barry back in Chicago!!!
After stints in Seattle and San Antonio, Brent Barry once again finds himself in Chicago. The trade was proposed and accepted in a matter of hours and Brent was flown to Chicago in hopes of playing against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
As our sources understand it, Ben Gordon and Andres Nocioni were unhappy with their roles in Chicago. Gordon was starting while Nocioni was behind young upstart Luol Deng. "I wasn't happy with my role on the team. I wasn't getting enough shots or I never got the ball when I was wide open and I got tired of it," said Gordon. The Bulls were already shopping for a 2 guard who could shoot the ball. They had previously tried to acquire Michael Redd away from the Bucks because of his tremendous shooting ability.
Gordon caught wind that Coach Skiles was unhappy with his behavior on and off the court and decided to shop him and Nocioni around. Nocioni was upset that he had more talent then Deng but Skiles felt that he didn't. The GM from the Spurs called Coach Skiles what seemed to be like immediately after rumors were circulating that Gordon and Nocioni were unhappy with their situation. So, a deal was struck between the two teams sending Gordon and Nocioni to the Spurs for Linton Johnson and Brent Barry.
"This trade favors San Antonio more than it does us but I believe that Barry is worth it. He shoots the ball really well and should relieve the pressure off of Kirk," said Coach Skiles. Hinrich had expressed concerns that he may not be able to shoulder the full load of being the major offensive threat after Chandler went down to injury. His fears were later justified as he found himself shooting the ball at least 25 times a game.
Time will tell on who got the better of this deal but if last night's game against Cleveland is any indication, the Bulls pulled one good trade. Barry played extremely well by shooting 12-21 from the field and posting 32 points despite feeling jet-lagged. The Bulls won the game 107-96.

You traded Ben Gordon.....I'm not so sure I like this anymore.
Well, I'm exaggerating, I just can't believe you did it. Barry is an awesome player though, so good luck with him. Gordon is already a 71 in just the second year of my dynasty though, and considered the future of my team, and the NBA. He totally rocks. I hope you can post some of his stats so I can see how he does in San Antonio. Hopefully he doesn't get buried on their bench and rot. Again, nice writing

I traded Gordon because his FG was too low for my taste. A two guard should be able to shoot the ball a la Kobe, T-Mac, Pierce, and Carter. He was a good defensive presence but not a good offensive one and that's what I wanted. I wanted someone who could shoot the ball alongside Hinrich but also be that defensive presence that Gordon was. So, I kinda wanted a shooter in Hinrich and a defensive presence like Gordon. Barry was the result of that. You'll see what I mean when I post the box score to the Lakers game I just played.

Will Lightning Strike Twice for Chicago?
Los Angeles Lakers (7-8) vs. Chicago Bulls (8-3)
Chicago won their first bout 106-94. Many NBA analysts thought that this particular win was an upset and a fluke in the natural logic of the universe. Coach Skiles believes that it was the talent of the team beginning to gel together. Will Chicago upset the Lakers again or will the Lakers shoot down the Bulls' high flying ride of success?
Keys to Victory for Chicago
Keep Bryant from Scoring
Limit Odom's Ability to Rebound
Disrupt Shooter's Ability to Scope the Open Shot
Keys to Victory for Los Angeles
Shut Down Brent Barry
Keep Eddy Curry away from the Basket
Disrupt Hinrich's Leadership Ability
Let's determine who will win this highly anticipated and heated rematch...
Lightning Strikes Twice!!!
The Lakers were vicious in their game against the Bulls but being outscored 27-13 in the 3rd quarter allowed the Bulls to rise up and defy the odds and win 101-94. Kirk Hinrich's buzzer-beating basket at the end of the 3rd quarter gave way to the Bulls shifting the momentum of the game into their favor. The win tonight puts the Bulls to 9-3 and the Lakers to 7-9.
Most Valuable Player Award - Eddy Curry w/26 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Formidable Presence Award - Kobe Bryant w/23 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.
Unsung Hero Award - Kirk Hinrich w/15 points, 2 rebounds, and 9 assists.
Hot Hand Award - Antonio Davis w/ 70% shooting from the field.
Endurance Award - Luol Deng w/ 45 minutes of playing time.
