Postby PrpleHayz on Sat Jul 03, 2004 1:47 am

Since my WIZ dynasty kept crashing my comp i decided to do this one because of the interesting free agent signing of Steve Nash

Now a quick question did anybody like the format i used for my WIZ dynasty and do you think i should do that here too??

Welcome Ladies and Gentleman to another season of great Phoenix Suns BASKETBALL.
Im Spencer Hayes formerly of the Washington Wizards until those losing bastards fired me.
This is an exciting year for the suns as they picked up highly talented point guard Steve Nash who i am sure will command a lot of respect and lead this team very well.
Phoenix has had some recent struggles but this year im hopeing and almost expecting a strong push towards the playoffs now that they have signed the Canada Kid.
Lets go to the phones
Jared your on the air

Jared:As happy as i am to get Nash i wouldve liked to try and attract Kobe a little more but now that is not possible what do you think ?

I think that we were kidding ourselves about Kobe it would hav been nice to get him but it was somewhat unlikely and getting Nash adds a piece to the team that might even be more valuable then KObe! maybe

Christian talk to me

Christian:Its not a matter of IF this team makes the playoffs its what seed will they be??

Now dont get too cocky Nash is a great player but hes not a miracle worker this team still lack depth but i can definetly envision our SUNS fitting somewhere form the 8 all the way to 5 or 6 spot

Greg your on

Greg:Our first game is against the Spurs will that tell how our team might fare this year or is it too early?? Also do you htink we could actually have 3 all stars this year??

Thanks for the 2 q's NO it is way to early to tell how we will do there is always injuries and other things. ALso again no i think Nash and Marion could definetly make it but Amare will have to play above himself to earn a spot among the strong west pf like wbber, duncan, and Garnett.

Thanks for listening see yoou after our first game agains the Spurs

GO SUNS

KSUN
Tough loss tonight for the suns as Steve Nashs desperation 3 fell short and the Suns lost a tough one to the defending champions in the 1st game of the year. Nash proved his worth with a great game and the Big 3 all contributed. The only problem was the defense on Turkoglu who went crazy tonight with 30+ points. Lets go to the phones.

Paul welcome to KSUN

Paul:Wow Steve Nash was great tonight and it almost made me forget how we overpayed him, but do you think he will play like this all season??

Mr Nash played as well as we can ask him too tonight and if he does this all the time we will succeed more times then not.

Greg wats up

Greg:The Big 3 played great tonight but do you think there is any chance of trading a Keon Clark or Antonia Mcydess for some better role players.

Yes i do i believe Keon will be much more accesible because Mcdyess has that huge contract and has had recent injury complications.

Dan your on the air

Dan:We played great tonight and its good to see people in the city excited about the team again, my question is this do you think we will make the playoffs and how far will we go, also how long will or what moves will it take to become a championship contender.

I do think we can make the playoffs but it will be tough to get out of the 1st round due to the strength of the western conference. Concerning your 2nd question a lot and a long time. The suns will need at least more 70 or above starteer and a couple more bench players to contend but right now they are on the right track.

Thanks for listening tune in after the Cavs game for more postgame coverage!

The Home opener was spoiled. Nasty game tonight the Suns shot under .400% from the field and were just disgusting tonight. I was embarresed to be a Suns fan and to work for the orginization it was just horrible no D no offense it was horrible and they better rebound if they want to be seriously considered for anything.
Lets go to the phones

Shaun your on

Shaun:What was wrong tonight why did they play so bad tonight?

I cant explain it this was not the Suns that i thought i knew they did not come to play tonight and were horrible.

Karl speak your mind

Karl:Something needs to be DONE! one more game like this and i want to seem some action because i know its early but this is one of the worst games of basketball ive ever seen

Your right it was and i do believe if these problems do keep occuring there will be changes made.

Lionel whats your question

Lionel:Does this hurt our playoffs at all??

Nope its still way too early to talk about the playoffs PEOPLE STOP ASKING!!!!!

Thanks for calling and check in for the Postgame show after the Lakers game!!!PEACE

Welcom once again to you Suns postgame show im SPencer Hayes.
What a great offensive showing by you Suns tonight 3 players with 20+ points and they just flowed so well in the fast break this was a GREAT game played by the Suns to beat the favored Lakers. Kobe was also held in check pretty well. Lets go to the phones to get YOUR input on this game.

John welcome to KSUN

John:Wow wat a great game! on the offensive side at least. We just blew L.A out of the water and the score is closer then the game was i would just like to applaud the Suns for beating my most hated team and to have a great season!!!

Thanks for the Call and the support John!

Marvin your on the air

Marvin:The way we played offense was great tonight Spencer do you think the way we played tonight against the team FAVORED to win it all this makes us look more like a playoff type team.

You people will jsut not get off the playoffs will you??? well yes i do think this shows the world that the suns are a good team and can play with anybody in the West and this will hopefully boost a lot of confidence for this team.

Mike welcome

Mike:Ive been hearing rumors of trades involving McDyess,Johnson and Eisley which if any will come the quickest.

I think all 3 of these players will be packaged in a deal VERY soon and it will hopefully clear a lot of cap space.

Thanks for listening stay tuned for the next postgame show after the JAZZ game. THis is Spencer Hayes signing off

KSUN
The streak hits 2 as our Suns easily handle the Jazz no matter how many 3's Ak47 was going to hit. High im Spencer Hayes and this is KSUN your one stop station for all suns postgame news! Tonight the Suns played great and deserved the win. Amare Stoudamire continues to be a tottaly complete player in every aspect of the game. NOw lets go to the phones.

Milan how are you doing tonight

Milan:Im doing GREAT!!! my suns have now won 2 games in a row and in great fashion they are playing the best basketball i have seen them play in a long time and righ tnow im proud to be a suns fan.

Thats great to see you are as excited as i am about our SUNS.

Otto your on the air

Otto:What do you think about the chance of Nash and Marion being all stars this year??

Well otto they are both playing prime basketball win or lose and i think so far they are both making great cases for themselves.

Jamar your on KSUN

Jamar:2 questions??Playoffs yes or no??? Trades whats goin on

At this point i think the suns could be a strong 6 or 7 see and myabe pull an early upset. As far as trades go as long as they are winning thers relaly no need but Mcdyess and Eisley both have big contracts and i know theyd like to get rid of them.

Thanks for tuning make sure to be here after all the suns game for you KSUN postgame show!!!

Nice Prplehayz, i liked ur wiz dunasty but i guess their team was garbage to play with plus it was very disorganized but this new suns one is tight, nice game against lakers and I love the Radio thing very very original, (wish i wouldve thought of it), its a good way to put out ideas as a general person watching the game (u played) without having to post a newspaper or sumthing official, very cool, keep it up
