PREDICTION

Image Image Analyst Tim Legler
"With the addition of Rasheed Wallace, I believe this squad will go far. They have a great all-around game, with shooters like Billups and 'Sheed, good big men in the Wallace boys, and great speed with Billups and Hamilton. I can guarantee you people a playoff spot, if major transactions do not occur. I disagree with their decision to trade Mike James, but hey, Larry Brown knows what he's doing."

PISTONS WIN!

Image

The Pistons don't dissappoint their fans in their season opener, as they rally back in the 4th quarter with 2 blocks in the final 3 minutes by Elden Campbell and Ben Wallace! Tayshaun Prince deals the nail in the coffin with a 3-pointer giving Detroit their biggest lead!

ImageMarv Albert
5 minute mark "Wow, the Pacers have built what seems to be an insurmountable lead, as we head into the final 5 minutes. I tell ya Czar, this has been a blowout in every sense of the word. The Pistons did not show up to play, which is very uncharacteristic of them."

2 minute mark "I am speechless. Czar, you said it, and I didn't believe it, but the Pistons have scored 17 unanswered points, as part of a 31-5 run. That's probably why your "The Czar" and I'm just your noble sidekick, huh?"

"The Pistons dominated the Pacers tonight. They did so good, it makes you wonder: "Why did they take so long to come back?" Here's my theory. They waited to come back on purpose. My boy Rasheed Wallace probably set the whole thing up! Sheed is a baaaad man, and he will take over the game, like he did tonight."

Stay tuned for Game 2 against the Heat in Miami!

Mon Jun 21, 2004 6:35 am

you should trade rasheed and some low bench players for shaq. then you have a dominant team.

Mon Jun 21, 2004 8:54 am

Nah, keep it the way it is. Realism > Fantasy.

How in heavens name did you get the score to be that low?

Care to sure your secret?

play the ball round, work the shot clock

Mon Jun 21, 2004 9:32 am

well its easy to get low scores if ur playing less mins and dont try to run up the score all the time. just play realistic.

Mon Jun 21, 2004 12:10 pm

My secret: 7 min. quarters. These days, it's rare to get 100+ points in a game.

I havent played for a while due to computer problems (which are hopefully solved now) ... but I played 10 minutes a quarter. And you could get results as low as these with 10 min quarters. Just look up the Hornets - Knicks Series in my playoffs ... follow the link in my sig.

And Andrew even achieves this low scores in 12 minute quarters.

But anyways ... nice dynasty. And you shouldnt trade Rasheed. Try to repeat the success the real Pistons have achieved and win the championship.

And post the season settings ...

PISTONS DOMINATE HEAT!
Image

Rip Hamilton leads the Detroit Pistons to their 2nd win, dominating the Heat in Miami. In the 4th quarter, you could here a pin drop, as Detroit shuts up the Heat's fans.

ImageMike "The Czar" Fratello
"Detroits defense was excellent tonight, Marv. Richard Hamilton not only lead his team in points, he lead his team in assists and blocks. The "Man behind the Mask" is undoubtebly the most underrated player I have ever seen. He shut down Eddie Jones in the low post, forcing him to take perimeter shots and long twos. I tip my hat to this young man, in hopes to see more highlight footage later on in his career."

"Rip. Rip Rip Rip. I love this kid. He comes in night in and night out, giving 100%. He shows the most hustle I've seen since I was in the game. One of the reasons I love this kis is that he's versatile. He has a great passing game, great shot, and can juke anyone anywhere. He can play the top 3 positions! This kid never quits either. In his 4 year career, he's broken his nose 3 times. He is a true athlete."

lol alright thats better :P

Tue Jun 22, 2004 8:19 pm

It is possible to score realistic scores, on 12 min quaters i average around 100 points while my opponent averages are 85-90, and i take the shots when they come intead of running the clock right down. It does take disipline tho.

Anyway Explosivo, great dynasty, good to see Rip "Ripping" it up. Only prob with these 7min quarters is Big Ben wont average 12+ rebounds very easily, and the thing that makes Dynasty's realistic for me is the stats.

So any trade ideas??

Tue Jun 22, 2004 10:38 pm

7-8-9-10-11min quarters sucks! I only player 12min quarters man.
But on the other hand I often get 110-120points :(
However when Ben (@ .org) releases his new rosterpatch (with new player ratings and sliders) it will be more releasim in 48minuts games

Tue Jun 22, 2004 10:49 pm

There is rumor of a trade flying around between us and Denver. Nothing big, more of a 12th man trade.

The issue with the patches is this: There are no patches or will there be any for a couple games because I have already played the first 10 games. I do them in installments. A couple games into this, you'll see updated tayshaun, ben, sheed and elden, I think even lindsey hunter. See?

When I play, it's all about rebounds, so Big Ben WILL be getting upwards of 15 rebs. :D

GAME 3 is a guaranteed heart-stopper.

why does prince have those fat shoes on...it looks like those shoes weigh more than him

"Rip Hamilton takin' it to the hole "
...that's the best screen shot I've seen in awhile. Keep up the screens! Especially the size... If my Dynasty gets popular I may have to invest in a bigger server to hold screens like that... too bad many of my guys are CPU gens and look bad no matter how detailed it is.

Anyway, keep the updates going, looking forward to it.
