Joe's Lakers

Postby Joe on Mon Apr 26, 2004 1:30 am

am in my 4 year with the Lakers and have won one Championship went to the playoffs 3 years the team that mostly knocks me out of the playoffs is Seattle they are hard at playoff time in the season I can handle them here is my line up for the the Lakers

C.S O'Neal
PF.W.McCarty
SF.C.Maggette
SG.K.Bryant
PG.F.Williams
------------------------
SG.J.Johnson
SG.W.Lewis.
PG.D.Oliver
C.J.Collins
C.D.Diop
PF.B.Cook
SF.J.Jones
SG.Q.Richardson
PG.A.Guyton
SG.K.Rush

Shaq I say is the best center for the Lakers next I have to say a other big man is D.Diop and the other one is J.Collins and for the PF is B.Cook he can drive and really has pick up his game K.Bryant is the best G for the Lakers next is C.Maggette he really helps out K.Bryant and gives the Lakers big support other player that I would like to commit on is my PG's I really what it a good PG's that can drive and shoot the ball and i have gotten that in F.Williams and D.Oliver i pick up these PG in free agents and I am surprise that I have them D.Oliver really is a good back up PG other player I would like to commit on is K.Rush he is a very good player a top player that really supports the Lakers the type of players that I have I really like I had to trade big time players to get a very good team last year I should have won the NBA Championship but I lost to settle I had a good record what mass me up is massing with the sliders and I lost allot of games that I should have won but o well i am having a good season this year only got beat 2 times and all most time for the all start game

Up date on the Lakers i trade Joe Johnson before the all star game for C Tony Battie because i what it a other big man he can play PF and C i hate to lose Joe Johnson a very good player but with Tony Battie he can rebound and dunk with shaq i don't think he has many years left right now he has played for 14 years so i say about 2 more years he will be retired and then i am thinking who should take his place D.Diop can dunk play D he needs to improve on Rebounding then i have Jarron Collins he can dunk rebound and play D so with the season all most over and i am sure i will make the playoffs with next year i may change the sim games to about 12 minn right now they are 5 the players that should have hi point's per game are low i play about 5 minn by the way i was sock aslo that Tony Battie playd a few games and made it in the all star game :D

update Lakers

Postby Joe on Sun May 02, 2004 12:07 pm

I am in my 2007-08 season last year i got knock out of the playoffs by Houston Houston was very hard they was driving rebounding could not get a good lead on them oh well this is a new season last year i trade Cook for C T.Battie i also trade and Joe Johnson and i trade SF J.Jones this season i have about 3 new players here is the update rosters

C S.O'Neal
PF W.McCarty
SF C.Maggette
SG K.Bryant
PG D.Wesley
________________
SG Q.Richardson
SG Q.Lewis
C T.Battie
PG B.Drew
SG K.Rush
C.D.Diop
Pg D.Oliver
PG F.Williams
SF Jimmy.Jackson
C J.Collins
_______________________

Now i may trade Jimmy Jackson for J.Jones if i can get him back am not happy with Jimmy Jackson and i may trade C J.Collins to get a PF now this season is going to be hard i have played about 2 games this season and i have notice a big change because players are driving more rebounding blocking faster last year i made some changes the computer sim games are about 12 minn on the sliders i have up date the shooting for the computer for the short range is about 42 i believe mine is the same 40 what i have notice when i up the minn for the sim games for the computer average points per game for the players has went up big time so i am please with that for allot of years the rookies players was very low on points per game now it's up also last year i up the speed to 50 now i may cut down the long range shooting for me from 50 to 48 catch you later for the next up date

PG and PF

Postby Joe on Sun May 02, 2004 2:10 pm

Well for the PG i have good ones F.Williams D.Oliver B.Drew and for sg D.Wesley K.Rush Q.Lewis he is one of my all stars other one is sg Q.Richardson and sg k.Bryant

i have no rookies all the rokkies i had i eather let them go or trade them

ty for your input sorry if i sound rude about the spelling thing

for PF i trade C J.Collins for PF Cook now for sf i may just wait and give sf Jimmy Jackson time and see how he dose if he don't play good he is gone i have look at J.Jones and his ratings are not good at all i think his overall rating is 36 so i i am not sure if i will get him back yet just have to wate and see

Your frontcourt is very weak Joe, gotta improve it, trade some forwards for power players

...COOK...

Postby HonorGlow on Sat May 08, 2004 4:16 am

If you develop him, Cook has some really nice low post moves, AND a power hop! (even if you don't develop him) Cook on my team is actually the strating PF now...like you I would have kept him on IR but one day, Karl went down with an injury(sound familiar) and the CPU autosubbed Cook in there, that's how I realized his potential.

Although you don't have Walton anymore, he's a good SF type because he doesn't excell in anything in particular but is reliable in about everything.

...but he's on my IR right now
