Warrick twisting in mid-air for the spectacular alley-oop.

Hakim Warrick led the way with 29 points and 12 rebounds and the Bucks picked up a win in their home opener against the defending world champions Los Angeles Lakers.

Michael Redd had all of his 25 through the first three quarters, Brandon Jennings had a double-double despite scoring just 2 points through three quarters. Rookie Katashiko Chan saw more floor time due to Bogut's foul trouble throughout the game and finished with a very impressive 4 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks in just 12 minutes.

All of his 4 points came from the stripe where he was perfect 4-4, despite being a 56% foul shooter in college. Jennings missed his first free throw of the season with 1.18 left and another one later on, ruining his perfect season. Hakim Warrick is the only Buck, who still hasn't missed from the stripe.

The Lakers were led by Pau Gasol with 22 points, 11 boards and 3 blocks. 2-time Finals MVP Kobe Bryant was more of a playmaker, scoring just 16 points on 5-11 shooting with a season-high 9 assists. Lamar Odom had 11 points off the bench in 12 minutes.

Despite trailing 46-35 at halftime, the Bucks rallied back. They scored 68 points in the second half, outscoring the Lakers by 21. The Bucks had total control in the fourth quarter, limiting Bryant's shots, forcing Ron Artest to commit turnovers and crashing the offensive boards. After 6 minutes, the Bucks were up by 5. James White came in for Michael Redd and scored his first bucket as a Buck, a huge dunk over the Lakers front-court.

This had the crowd going crazy. The Lakers didn't come as close as 7 points after that, eventually losing by 10.

This wraps up November for the Bucks.

Nice win dude. That first quarter seemed brutal, but it looks like you were able to pick up your game after that. You held Kobe to a rather quiet night, even if he did have nine assists. It's a good thing if he's passing the ball more often than scoring it.

Congrats on the win over the defending champs. Warrick's certainly outplaying his real life counterpart.

Hakim has been a big surprise. He did average 19 and 8 last year in the Playoffs, but still. He is finishing very well against shot blockers. His defense is still a bit shaky, but he has been blocking a few shots and he should. Guy is 6'9 with a 7'2 wingspan and a 38 inch vertical and has a career average of 0.4 blocks.

I thought Marbury is back in NYK..
