CHICAGO—Coming off from a big game against the Warriors, Kevin Durant once again proved his consistency, he had 42 points and including five rebounds as Thunder beat the Bulls in a thriller.
Expect him (Durant) to perform like this every game," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "If you leave him all game long, you know you're on trouble."
Durant sinked his free throws in the last second of the game to bury the Bulls, Derrick Rose attempted to put the game in overtime but he missed his teardrop layup, Rose had 29 points and 15 assists in the game. Luol Deng added 20 while Carlos Boozer contributed 19 points.
Thunder lacking of a backup guard, Russell Westbrook nearly played the whole game, he nearly flirted himself with a trible-double, 27 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds. He got most of his points because of free throws, Westbrook hit 15-of-16 of his freebies. Jeff Green posted 15 points, Serge Ibaka remained to be a reliable bench contributor and scored 13 points.
In the closing minutes of the pivotal fourth quarter, Scott Brooks subbed in Daequan Cook in exchange for exhausted Westbrook. And Cook delivered the most important shot for the Thunder, he netted a three-pointer in the face of Rose to put up his team leading by 3 with 43.6 seconds remaining, by then Rose answered and converted a difficult and-one layup. Durant handled the ball until the last seconds of the game and get fouled, that moment Durant put the icing on the cake and smiled.
Bulls found themselves struggled on their treys and hitting only their 7-of-24 attempts. The big difference that put the Thunder on top was their free throws, they shot 86% in the charity stripes compared to the Bulls, 66%.
Game Notes:
- Westbrook played a season high 43 minutes in the game.
- Thunder sweep their season against the Bulls, 2-0.
- Thabo Sefolosha can't get a decent that night and went 1-of-7 including 0-of-5 from three point.
- Bulls had 21 second chance points, Thunder had only 9.

Thierry •, Sucks I can't finish the game with a triple-double, could've been my first time in 2K11
dare, No bro, I'm playing with sideline characters off, and yes, I downloaded some of the global works in the releases and preview section, excellent CFs, jerseys, courts, etc.

Despite of Bulls big domination on the offensive boards you still get a win!
Thu Jan 20, 2011 8:56 pm
The X, Glad to see you here. Maynor is currently out with a back injury, sucks that Cook is my only backup PG, as for Harden, I find him inconsistent in the game, yes he can shoot the lights out but some games his just chuckling shots, I prefer Ibaka than him, in fact im considering dealing Harden before the treadline. Any suggestions?
Valdis, Westbrook is a beast I must say.
Kubik, Almost all of their players played great except Noah, a foul hog

MINNEAPOLIS—Winning a game on the road is always a nice achievement for the best team in the league. After cruising past the Chicago Bulls, the Oklahoma City Thunder top the Minnesota Timberwolves 99-92 for their fourth straight win.
Kevin Durant played an all-around game by his 31 points, eight assists, five rebounds and 2 blocks. He continue to struggle though, he shot just 10-of-28 of his FG attempts, including a poor 1-of-9 from three. Russell Westbrook continuing to fill his stat sheet, he notched 16 points, seven rebounds and seven assists. Eiji Sawakita added 15.
After the five minutes of action in the first, Michael Beasley leave the game because of an injury. He sprained his shoulder after a collision with Nenad Krstic. Beasley only scored five points. He's expected to miss few weeks of the said injury.Kevin Love led his team by recording a big double-double, 19 points and 22 rebounds, Love showed his range by converting all of his three three-pointers.
"We could win it I think, shame about Beasley coming down early in the game it's a tough blow for us," Love said.
Jonny Flynn who was enjoying a great season, had 16 points and five assists. Rookie Wesley Johnson contributed 14 points and six rebounds off the bench. The Wolves lose their second straight and fall to at least bottom of the Western conference, Thunder still remained their throne at the top.
Thunder will fly next to New Orleans to continue their run and face the Hornets. They are looking to a perfect week if they can beat the Hornets.
Game Notes:
- Darko Millicic didn't play in the game, a coach decision.
- Durant got his third straight Player of the Game award.
- Thunder won in points in the paint, 59-48

I like Ibaka a lot too. Yep, Harden is inconsistent. I'd prefer he stays but who knows what you'd want to deal him for.

You're really on a hot streak on the start of the month!Great job there!
Fri Jan 21, 2011 1:28 am
Where did you get that Corey Brewer CF from? Can you give me a link to it?
Fri Jan 21, 2011 7:49 am
Dude... When I saw Beasley crossing you up I was sure he was going to bring the rim down, but then Kristic comes from the shadows and sends him packing. Great stuff man, I'm really enjoying whenever I find the time to check this out. Westbrook was close to that triple double, in my association I played a game with these guys and they are damn near unstoppable. Westbrook and Durant make a great duo, plus you never know when Green or Harden are going to burst onto the scene. Ibaka had 17 rebounds in the last daily overview, but anyways man you doing great and keep it up.
Fri Jan 21, 2011 3:26 pm
Overcoming Love's effort, also nice win over the Bulls
Props for that man.
Did you get my PM?
Sun Jan 23, 2011 5:13 pm
The X, I'm thinking Dalembert, or maybe sign a free-agent center this coming off-season.
George7, Thanks man.
Chaimerity, Sorry can't remember, but I think I'm using a default one. If I had much time, I'll send it to you right away.
Agent420, Krstic didn't give up on that play

Westbrook is explosive and really a prolific scorer, thanks for the compliments bro.
Thierry •, Love + Flyyn is a tough duo I think.

NEW ORLEANS—Russell Westbrook has been so consistently good this season like Kevin Durant.
Westbrook had 24 points, 13 assists, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks to grab the best player award and power past the Thunder to their fifth straight win over the Hornets, 133-120. While Hornets on the other hand can't overcome Durant's offensive slaughter, he scored 39 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the game. Another solid contributor that night was James Harden who lately isn't happy about his playing minutes, he scored a season-high 30 points in just 27 minutes. He also added six assists and four steals.
It was the Thunder all game long, Hornets didn't found a way to stop the duo of Westbrook and Durant. It was a block party for the away team, they swatted 16 shots, a season-high compared to a poor 1 block by the Hornets.
The only good thing happened for the Hornets was sophomore guard Marcus Thornton, who tallied a team-high 35 points, David West added 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Chris Paul underachieved and scored just 13 points because of early foul trouble.
Jeff Green twisted his ankle in the second quarter but insisted to sit out, he played the last five minutes of action in the fourth and scored 14 of his 16 points. Two dagger of three by Green in the 3:42 mark of the last quarter pull away from the Hornets. Thunder will now return home for four straight games and eight of the next 10.
Game Notes:
- Hornets committed 25 turnovers, Thunder had 19.
- Thunder go 4-0 this week.
- Green's injury is listed day-to-day and expected to play the next game with limited playtime.
