The newly acquired Jonny Flynn today solidified his worth against the Orlando Magic in today's overtime 97-94 victory by not only hitting the game-tying shot to go to overtime, but also for scoring 7 of the Knicks 13 overtime points.

Jonny Flynn had a stat line of 26 points, 6 assists, 3 rebounds, 2 steals and a block. Flynn started off the game missing all 5 of his 1st half shot attempts, he did however hit 5 free throws in that time. Once the second quarter began the Knicks were down by 18 and that's when Flynn looked like a man possessed. Jonny Flynn was dunking over Dwight Howard and the rest of the Orlando Magic bigs along with knocking down shots from all over the court. With the Knicks down by 3 points, Jonny Flynn raced the ball up court with 4 seconds to go and launched a deep three which sank as the buzzer went off to send the game to overtime, which the Knicks ended up winning thanks to phenomenal play from Flynn.

Dwight Howard had a fantastic game. In the first half he scored 20 points and played terrific lock down defense on the Knicks center, Amar'e Stoudemire. Dwight Howard was pulling down board after board and continually dunked the ball at will. Dwight Howard ended up with 28 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks. D12 however was on the receiving end of a vicious dunk by Jonny Flynn in overtime (pictured above).

Amar'e Stoudemire had 20 points on the game and would have scored many more if not for the defensive presence of Dwight Howard. Amar'e Stoudemire however did his job with 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and a block to go with his 20 point night.

For the Knicks, Danilo Gallinari had 17 points and was a perfect 5-5 from the 3-point line, Kelenna Azubuike had 10 points and Anthony Randolph had 8 points to go with 5 blocks.Timofey Mozgov came off the bench and scored no points, but pulled down 9 rebounds and blocked 2 shots. For the Magic, Vince Carter had 25 points, Mikhael Pietrus had 17 points and Jameer Nelson had a double-double with 10 points and 13 assists.

The New York Knicks have won not only their 5th game of the season, but today was their 5th win in a row. The Knicks next face Rudy Gay, OJ Mayo and the Memphis Grizzlies at the FedExForum in Memphis.

Cryme Tyme, read the information under the questions, no "or" responses or "more than" responses. So currently your Q1, 3 and 5 aren't being accepted.

Amar'e Stoudemire, Jonny Flynn and J.R. Smith today proved to the NBA that Mike D'Antoni's run and gun offense is back with the Knicks whom defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 93-76.

New York Knicks captain, Amar'e Stoudemire once again had a dominant game proving that his combination of sheer power and athletic ability is one that cannot easily be matched. Amar'e scored 22 points off 10-16 shooting, pulled down 8 rebounds and had 3 assists. Amar'e was confident above the rim and as usual was dunking the ball with ease over the likes of Zach Randolph, Hasheem Thabeet and Marc Gasol.

J.R. Smith and Jonny Flynn also had great games with 22 and 17 respectively. J.R. Smith had 6 rebounds and 3 blocks to go with his scoring effort and was on the receiving end of many of Flynn's 8 assists which resulted in ferocious and entertaining dunks by the highflyer. Jonny Flynn was also taking it to the rack off the fast break and dunking the ball with ease. Coach D'Antoni devised a plan where the best leaper cut baseline whilst Flynn drove down the middle, allowing for an easy pass out of the shot for a lay-up, dunk or baseline jump shot.

For the Knicks, Anthony Randolph had 10 points to go with 5 blocks, Danilo Gallinari had 6 points to go with 6 rebounds and 2 blocks and Rafer Alston had 4 points to go with 6 assists. For the Grizzlies, OJ Mayo had 19 points, Zach Randolph had 17 points, Rudy Gay had 13 and Marc Gasol had 10.

The New York Knicks have won their 6th game of the season and attempt to go for their 7th in Washington, D.C. against the Washington Wizards and their rookie sensation, John Wall.

Excellent start for Smith in New York and solid performances from Stoudemire and Flynn. Good luck against Washington! I'm already thinking seven straight though!

I feel lucky because I started with the easier teams, only hard team I had so far was Orlando and I barely defeated them. I have Denver, Utah and Boston coming up this month though but the rest of the teams seem easier to defeat, Detroit, Philadelphia, Nets, Washington. Once again, thanks for reading :)

December 7, 11:49pm - Club Tantra, Memphis, Tennessee

"Memphis goes pretty hard" says the newest New York Knick, J.R. Smith to Jonny Flynn

"Haha, yeah man we got some talent here tonight!" says Flynn to J.R.

Smith walks up to a girl and starts dancing with her, only to be pushed by a man with a Memphis Grizzlies fitted hat on.

"Yo dog, nice job droppin' 22 on my boys, now how bout' me and my boys drop you?" says the Grizzlies fan to walker

"Man that's my job. I can do it every day of the night. Man, I got better stuff to do." says J.R. to the fan "Yo, Jonny, let's go"

"Alright man" says Jonny who goes to follow J.R.

The fan and his friends surround the two New York Knick starters and begin to come in closer and closer as Ron Artest's "Champions" plays

[...]

All of a sudden a punch is thrown by the fan and is retaliated by J.R. Smith. The other Knicks at the club hear the commotion and run to the scene. As more fists are thrown in the crowd, Amar'e Stoudemire and Anthony Randolph come into the altercation and begin pushing the Memphis fans from J.R. and Jonny. J.R. has a cut lip and his right eye is swollen. Just as the Knicks think the fight is over, the Memphis fan picks up a bar stool and throws it J.R. Smith. Amar'e Stoudemire begins to chase the fan out of the club only to find himself bumping into OJ Mayo,

"What's wrong man?" says OJ

"Some cats started fucking with J.R. and Jonny man, me and Anthony just came to stop them in case anything happened. What's with your fans out here boy?" says Amar'e

"We got some hardcore fans man. But still, just chill. Everything's good. Tell Jonny and J.R. to stick with me tonight, they won't do anything. But man, you boys get yourselves in loads of shit aye? First Curry, then Walker, now J.R. and Jonny. Who's next?" says OJ Mayo with a sarcastic tone

"I don't know man. But all I know is I gotta stop that shit from hitting the boys, that's my team. I'm the captain, I'm the leader. On the court and off the court boy, it's my job to keep them safe." says Amar'e. "People just don't like New Yorkers. I mean, yeah lots of them talk shit but still, at least we're backing it up, 6 and 0! 49 states just don't like it when we succeed. You know what, fuck that. We're going out even harder next time boy, ain't nobody messing with the Knicks on the court!"

"Haha! Chyeah that's it boy! C'mon, enough of these Memphis boys here, let's bounce. I know a place out here that parties like it's NY." says OJ

Amar'e gets Anthony, J.R. and Jonny and they go with OJ. J.R has now got an icepack on his eye and is eying out the guys that jumped him. The fan that threw the bar stool at J.R. reaches into his jacket as if he was going to pull out a gun. The Knicks and OJ Mayo duck due to what they thought was going to happen and the fan started laughing. J.R. Smith walks straight up to the fan and throws a punch at him, knocking him out cold.

"Yeah! What son! Think you can fuck with us? New York mother fucker. New York!" says J.R. Smith the Memphis fan's crew.

The fans kind of stick back because of what they just saw happen. J.R. Smith seems proud of what he just did and Amar'e Stoudemire comes and pushes back J.R. Smith bringing him back with the rest of the Knicks and OJ Mayo.

"Look man, as your captain.. that shit was wrong. I know cats like these, they're street. They ain't gon' go tell on you for knocking that bitch out cold.. but still, just don't do it." says Amar'e

"Haha man I don't care where that boy was from, J.R. straight out knocked that guy the fuck out!" says OJ.

The 5 of them begin laughing and get in OJ Mayo's Escalade and begin to drive away to the next club.
