What a trade? Bibb for Crawford wow, just goes with my theory about what i always thought about cpu teams. Cpu teams love being loaded at one position, even though the hawks were already loaded at the shooting gaurd spot, they already had Mike Bibby. But onto my other point, wow! So many injuries to so many big names, Lamarcus Aldridge, Andrew Bynum and Adriens Biedrens. I wonder how those teams are fairing without their stars.

Yeah the CPU teams always like to be loaded with stars at many posistions, about the injuries Lakers are still on top while the others struggles

I just play the 3rd and 4th quarters, Lee was just grabbing all the rebounds while Wallace and Augustin are non factors in the game. It's just an off night for the team

Re: Must Make MJ Proud|November Recap: Bobcats Review

Postby dare on Tue Apr 20, 2010 10:30 am

The Monthly Recaps are going to be divided in 4 parts. The 1st part is the Team Recap, 2nd part is the Rookie Rankings, 3rd Part is the MVP Race and the 4th part is the Around the League. The idea was taken from Sit's dynasty.

The 1st part is composed of team stats, monthly leaders,Bobcatof the month and Pussycat of the month.

Image

Bobcats Team Stats:
PPG: 92.6 [28th]FG%: .443 [17th]3P%: .250 [29th]FT%: .724 [28th]
ORPG: 11.2 [9th]DRPG: 29.4 [24th]RPG: 40.6 [17th]APG: 19.4 [29th]
BPG: 8.06 [18th]SPG: 8.59 [30th]TOPG: 13.0 [23rd]FPG: 15.8 [30th]

The Charlotte Bobcats ended their first month with just a game away above .500. There were some good wins and there is also a lot of bad losses. The Bobcats really need to step it up, they should play the defense that everyone expects from them and execute nice offense. The team also play a lot of road games including a 5 game road trip last week, there should be improvement late in the season as the team will play a lot more in home.

The stats are showing that the Bobcats need to be more consistent in offense as they were almost last in every offensive category, as for the defense surprisingly the Bobcats are last on the steals category and average in blocks category. The only good thing is that they are not that careless with the ball.

Bobcats Monthly Leaders:

PPG: C.Boozer|18.1|
RPG: C.Boozer|9.8|
APG: D.Augustin|6.2|
BPG: G.Wallace|1.76|
SPG: G.Wallace|1.47|

Bobcat of the Month: C.Boozer |18.1 PPG|9.8 RPG|1.2 APG|0.76 BPG|1.18 SPG|

Carlos Boozer showed in the early games that he is a 20-10 guy but as the season progress he struggled in some of the games. Nevertheless he is still the best player of the team right now, the only thing he need to improve is his defense.

Pussycat of the Month: G.Wallace |13.9 PPG|5.1 RPG|1.7 APG|1.76 BPG|1.47 SPG|

Even though Gerald Wallace was the team leader in steals and blocks this month, almost all of the games he struggled. He got to know that he is the main guy in this team, if he doesn't step up his game it will surely affect the Bobcats chance of getting to the playoffs.

Looks like Mason from the clippers might be the rookie of the year, 17 points, 1 steal and 2 blocks, he must be a forward or a center.

nice work so far (Y) impressive to see Bozo make that list too, considering he gets the least amount of playing time

man, just noticed... what happened to the #2 and #3 draft picks? underachievers?

His a SF, so is Cruz. The new Lebron and Melo :)

Actually there are a lot of rookies that average 10 PPG, when the game said it was a very strong draft class they really mean it.

NovU wrote:Damn... Pretty realistic stats so far for your team. How are your own rooks doing?

Bozovic as shown above is doing great while Y.Chow is having around 4 PPG and 3 RPG. I think...

Utah drafted the no.2 pick C.Pena a very poor pick, plays behind Okur. no.3 pick is a pg Kavanagh, plays behind T.Evans but his overall is high I think it's around 74-76.

So Bozo is the nickname for Bozovic? I can't think of something better but that's good for now. :)

megarover wrote:This draft class has a whole lot of potential that's for sure

As I said before it is compared to the 1996 draft.

I really like your starting line up, and yeah, the team needs to be doing better. Stephen Jackson should be carrying more loads on offense, as Boozer is more of a complimentary player, not a great first option.

For me, I'd go one of two options: major change/minor adjustment. Probably an adjustment, since the roster itself hasn't failed fully yet. Might need lil bit of change for the boost.

Anyways, how is MJ treating you? Hasn't he fired you yet for underachieving? Perhaps, you can write a story on that.

NovU, I'm planning to make minor adjustments, the team needs a great outside shooter. The guys on the trading block are Mohammed and Henderson, although I tried a major trade concerning Chandler but it is not too realistic.

So do you have somebody in mind?

It seems to me that you have way too many big men especially with your rookies. If you are willing to give up young prospect in Bozovic, I think you can get someone valuable in return that is if you can make it happen of course. Or you can give up somebody like Stephen Jackson, who is underperforming at the moment to improve your team. He's a good player so shoudl draw much interest from many teams. However, I think going for a guard/small forward for one of your big man is a good way right now. :D

I'd trade Jackson plus Diop/Mohmad for a scoring 2 or 3. But thats probably cuz I want to see Chow get more PT :D

As of now I have no plans on trading Bozovic, Jackson is one of my favorite player I also hate to trade him.

I also want some playing time for Chow but there is still Chandler. I repeat I hate to see Jackson leave

Its a toss up for mvp between Kobe Bryant and Gilbert Arenas, they both average the same number of points per game but, Arenas has .5 i think.
