Nice photoshop work, but the fact tht u described him as "looking fine" is kinda gay haha

why did you trade for him though if you said you were trading Kobe? Have u changed your mind? Anyways clean presentation, but you should break up the text, so its not just one big chunk of text. Good luck (Y)

-km-,
so u traded odom for the pacer's two best players
tossed in 3 scrubs and odom who is ok at everything but not great at anything

I hate to say it -km-, but you are slipping. :( Your pre-season recaps were hit-and-miss, and it just isn't too pleasing on the eyes IMO. Now, compared to most dynasties here, it is great, but coming off your Wizards dynasty... its iffy.

Then there is the trade... Odom + the other 3 guys and a first for O'Neal and Daniels is fine, but getting Granger, who is the team's future also just makes it a ripoff. The pick is negated because the Lakers are now stacked, the Pacers didn't even get Bynum, so now they are one of the worst teams in the league (now on the tier of a Minnesota or Seattle) but don't have a future since they gave Granger away.

On the plus side, I see you winning 65 (?) games again like in your Wizards dynasty though.

Thu Nov 29, 2007 3:20 pm

Realism, is my top priority. I really don't like this trade, as I ussually prefer seeing real-life rosters in dynasties, but that was your choice. Trading Odom and two Lakers' bench guys(which are playing great this season,IMO) for 'Maine, Granger and Marquis, that's a ripoff... I totally agree with Lamrock that the Pacers have no chance, but to be the worst team in the league

Anyways, good luck..

I think you'd still be getting too much. Don't forget, the draft pick you're giving really isn't great - most likely late first-rounder.

May I suggest the following trade in place of what you have:
Jermaine O'Neal, Jamaal Tinsley, David Harrison for Lamar Odom, Kwame Brown, Sasha Vujacic, Jarvais Crittenton, 1st round pick

From your perspective, you unload the waste-of-space Brown and get the best player in the deal, Tinsley, who can be very good (especially just in the game without off-court shenanigans) and a young big to help out.

For them, they unload the headcase that is Tinsley, get Odom, who is repsectably good, a couple of expiring contracts, a late pick and the keystone of the trade, their point guard of the future, Crittenton.

While you're giving them Farmar, as good as he is in real life, he doesn't have the ratings to support his playing. Crittenton is that much better in the game and his potential (in real life and in the game) warrants more salivation.

Fri Nov 30, 2007 4:28 am

But i think, I'm getting too much. Tinsley and O'Neal

If that, then : + 2.9 ppg, - 1.1 rpg, and + 6.1 apg.

Pursuer, Lamrock93 - Any suggestions?

Fri Nov 30, 2007 4:48 am

-km-,
dude this is a video game
real life stats have nothing to do with your dynasty

heres my suggestion
Mihm,Fisher,Kwame,Odom
for
Rush,Harrison,Tinsley,Jermaine

I'm not looking to score 83 points with like Coby Carl.

Fri Nov 30, 2007 9:27 am

InGottiWeTrust, That mentality is the reason why your dynasties tend to fail.

-km-, I think joeygraham's trade is pretty good, especially since it completely cleanses the Pacers of the Palace incident. Plus, Indiana gets a 10 mil expiring contract, and plenty of good players for the future.

Fri Nov 30, 2007 9:47 am

I think that was great trade, because you got Daniels

But seriously I agree with Pursuer and Lamrock.

Fri Nov 30, 2007 11:22 am

I agree with Pursuer and Lamrock too. Getting Granger is too much. He's a star in their team.

When I first saw O'neal I was like "It better not be Shaq" lol

Sat Dec 01, 2007 7:10 pm

Why don't you try to play with the current roster? If you have a tough time, then think about pulling off such a trade..

Sun Dec 02, 2007 11:06 pm

I'm waiting for a roster update right now. Perhaps the next IRPT or Andrew's.

I wont execute the trade now..

Thu Dec 13, 2007 5:35 am

Ok, so I'll use Andrew's roster in the dynasty, with up-to-date modifications.

But, should i do my good-old weekly recaps or gamely like now?

But I'll think I'll play one game a week. Like the game of the week or something.

Or not?

I need your replies, so I could get this going before Christmas.

I'm following Pursuer's advice and not going for a trade.. But Jermaine is definitely on my radar..

Fri Dec 14, 2007 7:56 am

I liked ur weekly recaps..

Sat Dec 15, 2007 5:55 am

i think that you should just continue with this. just work on another trade

Sat Dec 15, 2007 9:13 am

Weekly recaps I say. This will let you move faster in the dynasty and weekly recaps are more interesting to me.

Sat Dec 15, 2007 11:12 am

You should switch teams to start...

Afterward, go with the weekly recaps. Those are definitely your strongest recaps.

Lamrock93 wrote:You should switch teams to start...

Why?

Sat Dec 15, 2007 4:47 pm

Because everyone is doing LA. I don't know, LA just isn't a very interesting dynasty team any more.

Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:02 am

nice dynasty. i love your recaps. they're just great. only that indiana trade was unrealistic. but all together very nice dynasty
