Long time no see man :) Really great franchise you have here, having Gilbert back in GS was a very good decision... This team's rolling now...

Great win against Lakers, despite Kobe's big effort, good luck in your next one!

January 22, 2007 | Cavaliers (9-4) @ Warriors (10-1)

Oakland, CA - Just one day after an intense battle vs. the Lakers, the league-leading Warriors had little time to rest before facing LeBron and Co. However, they showed no signs of fatigue, as Golden State took a 2-point lead after the first quarter, then pushed way ahead with a 25-12 second. Cleveland fought their way back in the third period, dropping the lead to 6. Stephen Jackson's bench heroics saved his team however, as Golden State won 97-87.

Another win. Agent 0 finally didn't get player of the game. Almost reached the half-way point now...

Monta should get most improved the way he is going.

January 26, 2007 | Nets (7-8) @ Warriors (11-1)

Image 24 17 17 18 76

Oakland, CA - After tonight's game, people were wondering whether the Nets were even trying. Blown out from start to finish, New Jersey lost by 33: their largest loss of the season, and the Warriors largest victory. Solid play led to a eighteen point Golden State lead at halftime. In the third, Monta Ellis exploded and led his team to a 28 point lead at the end of the quarter. The Warriors cruised to a 109-76 victory. Jason Kidd had a terrible game, scoring 6 points, and dishing 9 Assists, but went 2-13 from the field, and committed 7 turnovers.

Top 3 Players (GSW)

Image Monta Ellis: 29 Points, 8 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 3 Steals, 11-12 FG, 2-3 3PT, 5-5 FT

Mon May 28, 2007 7:30 pm

Mon May 28, 2007 8:00 pm

Great game by Monta. You have the championship already the in trophy case. Only the Lakers can take it away from you....

Btw, how many more games until the All-star weekend?

Sun Jun 10, 2007 4:40 pm

woooow you are a hyporcrite in loosers dynasty you are like there are too many Warrior dynasties, and yet u have one hahaha

Sun Jun 10, 2007 5:47 pm

Eh? No fire please :)

The Golden State Warriors are a fun team to play with, that's why everyone picks them.

Mon Jun 11, 2007 9:19 am

can't remember if i've checked out your dynasty before but nice GSW line up! Dalembert controlling the paint, AgentZero running the show with Ellis and Lewis on the wing (always thought he'd make a better Warrior than Sonic); awesome to see Monta coming of age; my fav? the LA OT recap - wicked; i can see why Kobe wants to be traded hahah; anyway, nice work man; hope you're still updating

Mon Jun 11, 2007 9:28 am

When I made that post in Looser's topic nbarules, I meant there were a lot of Warriors dynasties due to bandwagoners.

I started this before the bandwagoners showed up, and less than half the team is still there...

This is still being updated. I have played 3 games after this, but never felt like updating (just finished Gears of War).

Mon Jun 11, 2007 12:46 pm

This is still going strong and looking real nice. Keep it up.

I'm hoping, once exams are out of the way in a week, to get another 2k7 association up and going. Not sure what I'm going to do exactly. Maybe another Bucks one, or another team with myself playing some PG. Regardless, I will keeping my eyes on this one.

Arenas' Season-High 16 Assists leads Warriors past Kings

February 2, 2007 | Kings (7-10) @ Warriors (12-1)

Image 25 18 27 19 89
Image 28 24 27 21 100

Oakland, CA - As he became more noticed, Gilbert Arenas was always criticized for being a shoot-first Point Guard. Being called selfish, and an SG in a PG's body, Arenas has proved the critics wrong yet again. While maintaining the near 30 PPG, he has also averaged 10 Assists Per Game this year, and tonight, he went all out by dishing 16 Assists, a season high.

Otherwise, it was a fairly dull game. The Warriors were always in control, but it was never a blowout. The Warriors held on to a 9 point lead at the half, then coasted to an easy 100-89 home victory. With the win, they improve to 13-1 with five games until the All-Star break.

Top 3 Players (GSW)

Image Gilbert Arenas: (POG) 17 Points, 16 Assists, 3 Rebounds, 2 Steals, 7-15 FG, 3-8 3PT
Monta Ellis: 25 Points, 7 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 1 Steal, 1 Block, 10-14 FG, 5-6 3PT
Rashard Lewis: 16 Points, 10 Rebounds, 2 Blocks, 6-13 FG, 1-5 3PT, 3-4 FT

Top 3 Players (SAC)

Ron Artest: 23 Points, 5 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 3 Steals, 2 Blocks, 9-22 FG, 2-5 3PT, 3-5 FT
Brad Miller: 12 Points, 10 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 3 Blocks, 6-9 FG
Mike Bibby: 16 Points, 7 Assists, 3 Rebounds, 2 Steals, 4-12 FG, 3-7 3PT, 5-5 FT

Next Game: @ Nuggets

Tue Jun 12, 2007 4:30 pm

Another win! Agent 0 is having a career best season. Also good to see that you are still updating this, after a bit of a slump, but now I hope we get some more updates, more often! Can't wait for playoffs, I know they are going to be great....

Sat Jul 21, 2007 5:04 am

Okay, I know its been a while since I've updated (5 and a half weeks...) but I will let you know that this is not over, and I have actually played all the way to the All-Star break. This will be continued from now on...

Warriors 14-1 at halfway point with win

February 5, 2007 | Warriors (13-1) @ Nuggets (11-8)

Image 25 35 13 28 101
Image 28 21 16 19 84

Denver, CO - Looking at this Warriors team now, you know that they are built for success. However, when their team was completely turned upside down by a long series of roster moves, did you think their chemistry would work so perfectly and have a record of 14-1 just past the season's halfway point? Except for perhaps Gilbert Arenas, nobody did. With a big win in Denver, the Golden State Warriors accomplished just that.

The first quarter was a major fight, with two teams with very similar systems facing off. The Nuggets barely came out on top with a 28-25 lead. However, the second period was all Warriors as Rashard Lewis caught on fire and led his team to a 60-49 halftime lead. In the third, both teams were cold, and only 29 points were scored between the two. Starting the final period with an eight point lead, superstar Gilbert Arenas finished the job by taking control and leading his Warriors to a 101-84 victory.

Top 3 Players (GSW)

Image Gilbert Arenas: (POG) 30 Points, 8 Assists, 3 Rebounds, 3 Steals, 1 Block, 12-22 FG, 1-5 3PT, 5-5 FT
Rashard Lewis: 20 Points, 7 Rebounds, 5 Assists, 8-13 FG, 1-2 3PT, 3-3 FT
Samuel Dalembert: 9 Points, 11 Rebounds, 2 Assists, 2 Blocks, 2 Steals, 4-9 FG, 1-2 FT

Top 3 Players (DEN)

Carmelo Anthony: 27 Points, 6 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 12-26 FG, 3-3 FT
Allen Iverson: 10 Points, 8 Assists, 5 Steals, 4 Rebounds, 4-16 FG, 2-2 FT
Marcus Camby: 9 Points, 7 Rebounds, 2 Blocks, 1 Assist, 1 Steal, 3-4 FG, 3-4 FT

Next Game @ Heat

Sat Jul 21, 2007 7:22 am

Still shuffling pretty easy here :P

Sat Jul 21, 2007 8:39 am

Not to give away spoilers or anything, but the 4 games left before ASW are tough road games. The Warriors won't go into the All-Star game 18-1...

Win Streak Ends At 5 as Heat Top Warriors

February 7, 2007 | Warriors (14-1) @ Heat (8-9)

Image 19 26 16 28 89
Image 25 20 22 33 100

Miami, FL - Warrior coach Don Nelson knew that this road trip would be one of the hardest stints of the season. They had to face five consecutive away games against respectable to good teams. They managed to destroy the Nuggets, but the inconsistent defending champs got the best of them.

The first half was rather evenly matched. The Heat led by 6 after the first, but a late Golden State run left the game tied 45-45 at the half. The Heat rebuilt their 6-point lead in the third, then Wade went on a rampage in the fourth to seal the deal. He ended up finishing with an amazing stat line of 39 points, 9 Assists, 7 Rebounds, 3 Steals and 2 blocks in an MVP-worthy performance.

Top 3 Players (MIA)

Image Dwyane Wade: (POG) 39 Points, 9 Assists, 7 Rebounds, 3 Steals, 2 Blocks, 16-25 FG, 7-7 FT
Shaquille O'Neal: 20 Points, 8 Rebounds, 1 Assist, I steal, 7-13 FG, 2-4 FT
Jason Williams: 17 Points, 6 Assists, 2 Steals, 6-18 FG, 3-11 3PT, 2-2 FT

Top 3 Players (GSW)

Magic Defeat Warriors At Cost of Losing Star

February 8, 2007 | Warriors (14-2) @ Magic (10-7)

Image 17 16 36 26 95
Image 21 31 25 26 103

Orlando, FL - Just a day after losing to the defending champions, the Warriors had to face the other Florida team. Clearly fatigued from the previous night's loss, the Warriors sleepwalked through the first quarter, then let the Magic take a 15 point lead midway through the fourth. This led to a long pep talk by coach Don Nelson. The Warriors started playing, and cut the lead to ten. Then, going up for a layup, Point Guard Jameer Nelson (who had been enjoying a career season, averaging 20, 7 and 5, and a monster game with 15 points and 13 assists) tore his ACL, like Spurs star Tim Duncan did earlier this season. He will be out for the season.

Then, the Magic exploded. J.J. Redick and Grant Hill started scoring at will, and the emotions from losing their star PG led them to an amazing 19 point lead at the half. In the third quarter, Nelson was sorely missed, as Carlos Arroyo played terribly. The Warriors came within 8 by the end of the third. However, in the fourth, Monta Ellis' shot was cold, and Arenas kept turning the ball over. The shorthanded Magic hung on to win 103-95, at great cost. The Magic (11-7) are still a likely lock for the playoffs, being 4.5 games ahead of the 7-12 Raptors in ninth place. Still, it is unlikely they will get past the first round. This loss marks the first consecutive defeat this season for the 14-3 Warriors.

Top 3 Players (ORL)

Image Jameer Nelson: (POG) 15 Points, 13 Assists, 4 Rebounds, 3 Steals, 5-11 FG, 2-4 3PT, 3-4 FT, played just 19 minutes, left with injury
Grant Hill: 24 Points, 11 Rebounds, 3 Assists, 9-19 FG, 1-1 3PT, 5-7 FT
J.J. Redick: 23 Points, 5 Assists, 2 Rebounds, 1 Steal, 1 Block, 10-27 FG, 2-5 3PT, 1-2 FT

Top 3 Players (GSW)

Gilbert Arenas: 29 Points, 10 Assists, 5 Rebounds, 2 Steals, 9-17 FG, 4-5 3PT, 7-7 FT
Rashard Lewis: 20 Points, 8 Rebounds, Assist, 1 Steal, 1 Block, 7-15 FG, 2-3 3PT, 4-5 FT
Monta Ellis: 15 Points, 7 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 1 Steal, 7-17 FG, 1-5 3PT

Seems like jon has a crush on you  It's been a while since I last posted here, but it's still good as ever. Keep going man (Y)

Fri Jul 27, 2007 2:04 pm

Tore ACL sucks, it makes you automatically out for the season, because that shit takes forever to grow together. You're still 14-3 so its all good.
