The Pistons and spurs will both battle strong inside and the winner of points in the paint could be the team to win the match. Summary
In a Battle of the heavyweights, Spurs got of to a good start taking a early 11-6 lead as Duncan was playing phenomenal defence. Detroit then rallied back and by the time San Antonio hit 13 points Detroit where just one point behind them. But then Spurs got hot again and went out to a 21-14 lead until in the last 30 seconds the pistons hit back with two three pointers to make it a 21-20 spurs lead at the first change.
Hamilton in his return game then kept the pistons in touch as both teams scored on almost every second possession. The pistons then took a 32-30 lead in a heavily defence dominated game. The spurs and pistons continuously traded buckets and at the conclusion on a fine half the pistons trailed 39-40

At the start of the 3rd Detroit came out on red hot fire as they hit 2 consecutive contested three pointers, the crowd became ear piercing as the pistons went up 47-40 off the back of an 8-0 run. Detroit never looked back from that as without resent they went up 57-46 after 4 minutes of play in the 3rd quarter. Both teams then finished off solid on both ends but with a 30-14 point quarter the pistons had established a 69-54 lead.
In the last both teams where solid as Hamilton destructed at one end while Duncan was enjoying easy baskets at the other. The last few minutes where just garbage time as Detroit extended there lead gradually and came home 95 to 80 point Winners.
