Miami 72, Cleveland 54

CLEVELAND, Dec. 26. -- The Heat extend their streak to 7 games won and six of them have been on the road. Their win against Cleveland puts them 2 on the overall standings just under Detroit.
Antawn Jamison had another great game with 15 points and 5 rebounds coming off the bench to player back-up Center which earned him POTG awards. Damon Jones also added 15 points to help the Heat Truimph over the Cavaliers 72-54.
Both Teams were dead locked in the first scoring 16 points each. The Bench players came out in the second quarter to prove something and they certainly did. Damon Jones hitting 3 from 4 from the arc and Jamison with 8 points in that quarter. Getting to a 10 point lead at the end of the half.
The Heats starting lineup outscored the Cavaliers 19-10 in the third but the Cavaliers put up a fight in the last winning the quarter narrowly by 1. Larry Hughes top scoring for the cavaliers with 14 points and Lebron had 13. Drew Gooden had a good game with 9 rebounds.
The Bench players of the Miami Heat outscored their Starting lineup 37-35.

MIAMI, Jan. 2. -- The Heat have increased their streak to 8. The Bench have turned out the winners for the Heat and the ever growing bench may be the best in the league.
Damon Jones had a Career-High game with 32 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 18 points as the Miami Heat stormed to a 86-76 victory over the Orlando Magic.
The Heat started to slowly in the first, then letting the Magic get away to a 21-15 start. The Heat came back with their amazing bench to take the lead by 7 points in the second. Miami narrowly outscored the Magic by 5 and Heat triumphed over the Magic with a 10 point victory.
Grant Hill scored 21 points, Francis chipped in with 14 and Dwight Howard scored 13. Nelson had 10 points and dished off the ball 8 times.
Damon Jones hit 6 out of 8 from the arc and shooting 6 from 6 from the foul line.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 3. -- The Miami Heat have extended their win streak once again to 9 wins. The Loss takes the Lakers to 12 straight losses.
Dwayne had another nice night with 20 points and 4 steals. Damon Jones added in 18 point to lead the Heat to another victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Heat bounced away to a early lead in the first and it seemed that they were hitting all their shots and that the laker couldnt defend. That was right in the first quarter as the Heat go away to a 23 point lead. The Lead was extended to 32 points in the second and to 42 at the end of the third.
The Lakers put up a fight in the last but it was for nothing. The Heat ended up winning the game by 37 points. Brown top scored for the lakers with 12 points and 10 rebounds giving him a double-double. Kobe had a disapointing night with only 12 points.

MIAMI, Jan. 4. -- The Heat win once again to extend their winning streak to 10 games. The Heat were once struggling on 5-5 but are now on 15-5.
Dwayne Wade set up the win with 19 points and 7 steals while Damon Jones added 25 points to ride the Heat to a 79-59 victory over the Minnesota TimberWolves.
The Best First Quarter team in the league showed why they were the Best in the league with a commanding 25-11 first quarter. The First quarter won them the game but the Timberwolves put up a fight in the second. Outscoring the heat by 2 points, luckily when Sam Cassell hit a jumper. The Heat obviously outscored them for the rest of the game to win by 20 points.
Sam Cassell had 16 points and 4 assists while Garnett helped with 16 points and 5 rebounds. The Heat are at home against the Celtics on 9th of January.

Boston 64, Miami 67

MIAMI, Dec. 9. -- The Heat post a below-average game but come away with a three point win over the Celtics. The Win extends their winning streak to a massive 11 wins.
Damon Jones once again the Hero with 15 points but the rest were only in single figures while the Heat went on to win 67-64 over the Boston Celtics. The Miami Heat are now 16-5 since a 5-5 start.
Miami and Boston tied in the first 16 all. The Second quarter showed the Heat taking the lead in that quarter 19-15 but in the third it was exactly the same scoreline but to the Celtics. The Benchmen of the Heat once again came out top winning the last quarter by 3 to win the game by 3.
Ricky Davis had a awesome 20 point game, while Payton and Paul Pierce had 12 points each. Jefferson also had 9 points and 7 rebounds. The Next game for the Heat is at Dallas on the 16th of January.

Rookies 60, Sophomores 59
HOUSTON, Feb. 16. -- The Rookies have overcome the Sophomores in a one point thriller at Houston. The Rookies led for most of the game until the last quarter when the Sophomores took over in a 10-0 run. The Sophomores went up as much as by 3 points.
The crucial point in the match was when Marvin Williams swatted Dwight Howard with 1 minute remaining. Both teams scored once more to make the lead just 1 point to the Sophomores. The Rookies had the ball with 12 seconds remaining. Webster shot it but missed with only 0.7 seconds remaining then Bogut came out of nowhere and tipped it in on the buzzer to give the rookies the win.
Bogut won the Got Milk? MVP award with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Webster gave it a good game with 15 points and Chris Paul with 11 points.
Dwight Howard also had a awesome game for the Sophomores with 10 points and 6 rebounds. Telfair scored 11 points and JR Smith and Gordon with 9.
Bogut tips the ball with 0.5 second remaining.
