Hornets travel to Oakland
The Hornets travel to Oakland to verse the very skillful Golden State Warriors. The first half was the best half of basketball the world had ever seen coming from the Hornets, it was simply spectacular. Corey Maggette and Chris Paul were a great offensive combo and PJ Brown grabbed 11 boards in the first half. The Hornets finished the half ahead 70-39. It was embarrasing for the Warriors homecrowd. But things weren't the same in the second half, this half belonged to J-Rich and B-Diddy as the Warriors outscored the Hornets 56-30 but the Hornets managed to win the game 100-95. Player of the game was Corey Maggette with 33 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds. Other great players for the Hornets were Chris Paul with 19 points, 5 assists and 3 rebounds, PJ Brown with 9 points and 17 rebounds. Hornets travel to Denver to play their last game of the month against the Nuggets
The Hornets have won 5 of their last 6 games as they introduce another new player named Al Harrington. The first quarter was extremely horrible as the Nuggets showed that they deserve to be a top 10 team of the league with Carmelo Anthony going on a nice scoring spree as the Nuggets finished the quarter ahead 35-13. The 2nd quarter was relatively even but the Nuggets still had a nice lead. Same thing continued in the 3rd quarter but the 4th quarter saw the Nuggets go on another nice run as they won this game 118-84. Player of the game was Carmelo Anthony with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Marcus Camby had 19 points and 9 rebounds. For the Hornets, Chris Anderson scored 12 points and grabbed 10 boards.
