Pre-Season Game 3 (vs DEN)
Total Team Effort and Defense
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Lakers played unselfishly against the Nuggets and it looks like the team is starting to play together as a team not only on the offensive side of the floor but as well as on the defensive end. Even though the Lakers shot poorly from the field at 39.6%, they we're able to force the Nuggets to shoot more worst at 37.9%. The Lakers tallied a total of 32 assists and 14 steals as a team against the Nuggets 20 and 8 as they beat the Nuggets 103-94 and winning their third straight with just two more games remaining in their pre-season.

Nice, Kobe only scored 25 points though, thats low for him. Kwame Brown on the other hand a Double-Double. Cant wait for the regular season.

Yeah, wow, Kwame and Mihm are looking very solid in the middle. Glad to see you sticking by the Lakers and not apprantly making too many trades

- I don't like looking through a franchise and seeing that a team has done stuff like Jermaine Jones for Bogut, Sam Cassell for Chris Paul, etc.

I really like that Kmart dunk in the preseason 3 game! I like the nice rounded realistic score...I have trouble getting my Laker to slow down...but then again,it's grouped with all these high flyers.
Looking forward to more updates!

Regular Season Game 1 (@ SA)
Manu, Spurs, too good for the Lakers
SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 28 (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs displayed today how deep their team is. With Tony Parker injured early in the first quarter, Nick Van Exel came in and sparked the Spurs with 11 pts and 5 assists. But that wasn't the big story, Manu Ginobili was unstopable scoring 28 points on 11 of 19 shooting and 2 of 3 from behind the arc. Tim Duncan was a monster on the boards with 14 rebounds and scored 17 points for the Spurs. Michael Finley was also a factor coming off the bench and scoring 12 points. Then when Tony Parker recovered from a mild bruised elbow, he came in and shut down the Lakers rally in the third with a 3-pointer and still managed to dished out 7 assists and was the key to held-off the Laker run as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 104-94 on their first game of the season.

Oh tough loss against my Spurs.

Manu was just too good but Tony did a good job on passing the ball. Hope you will win the next game.
Tue Dec 06, 2005 3:11 am
Yep not a good game from Kwame. Good luck next game bro!
Tue Dec 06, 2005 3:26 am
hm good game against the spurs even though you lost.
Tue Dec 06, 2005 2:54 pm
great update bro. Too bad you came up short. San Antonio's a real hard team. Atleast you had a go to guy on the perimeter with Kobe. My go to guy's Bosh, and he's gonna be guarded by Duncan..
