Exactly what I thought too, but it's really good and captivating. Jugs really put together a nice high quality dynasty, I hope my dynasty will have this much meat. Right now mine is all bling, not much meat yeat. But I'd be really happy to bring it like this. Keep it man, I'm lovin it.

Was that jab at all of us who started early really necessary? Not cool in my book.

That wasnt cool Laxation :shake:

Yeah your dynasty is awesome, i cant wait to see what you do with your recaps, and your meat :?

VlaDiv wrote:Excellent format to this dynasty. I'm enjoying the scouting reports on other teams and the training/scouting process. It would be interesting to see some pictures of the opposing teams players in their highlights as well.

Yeah I was on a roll  , yeah CJ Miles is a star in the making, I hope.

Marbury was doing what he does in real life, hog the ball to try and get his team back in the game. CJ is pretty cool

Utah travel to Phoenix to try and salvage some pride against the Suns

Image

Deron Williams is back for his first game since his injury 2 weeks ago as the Jazz travel to Arizona after losing by 70 points against the Kings. The Suns stay home as they will try and defeat the Jazz who defeated them 13 days ago.

Starting Line-Ups

Image

Key Match-Up

Deron Williams vs. Steve Nash

Will the future Jason Kidd be able to beat the current Steve Nash?

1st Quarter

Both teams started the game strongly, taking their time on offence, none of the impact players were making much of an impact. Both teams had their struggles on offence as the scores were really close. Nash was excellent for the Suns but Deron was pretty quiet for the Jazz. The Suns started to make a lead as Deron Williams commited 2 offence fouls. The Quarter ended with the Suns infront 28-21.

2nd Quarter

The 2nd quarter started with the Jazz making a 12-2 run with Giricek scoring 10 of those points. The Jazz tried their best to create a large lead with the momentum in their favour but the Suns managed to hold on. Gordan Giricek continued his scoring as they progressed to a 6 point lead but some mistakes helped the Suns cut the deficit. Steve Nash made 1 out of 2 free throws to give his team a one point lead but a Lorinza Harrington 3 pointer gave the Jazz a 2 point lead. The Suns went out to a 3 point lead but the Jazz came back and took back the lead as CJ Miles injured his back. The quarter ended with the Jazz infront 52-51.

Key Players at the Half

Lorinza Harrington and Amare Stoudemire

3rd Quarter

Both teams started this quarter strongly, Jazz had the lead for 2 minutes then the Suns took it so they called a timeout. CJ Miles was put back onto the court after the minor back injury. The Suns began to break away again but the Jazz managed to equal the scores again. The Jazz started to make too many turnovers as the Suns progressed to a 10 point lead. The Suns continued to play strong as Amare Stoudemire scored a buzzer beating lay-up to end the quarter with the Suns leading 88-74.

4th Quarter

The start of the 4th quarter was fucking horrible, no set plays, just shooting carelessly, driving in carelessly. It was all over when Steve Nash scored his 28th point of the night. Gordan Giricek injured himself with his last foul of the match. The Suns continued strongly then suddenly the Jazz scored 10 points in a row but this didnt effect the Suns much as they casualy called a timeout. The Jazz fought to the end but the Suns took this one 128-108.

Player of the Game

Amare Stoudemire
Amare was the man tonight as he was rebounding and scoring well.

Robert Skrnjug was not happy with 2 losses in a row but he blames it on injuries and bad luck, not on bad coaching. He actually complimented on how well Jerry Sloan was doing. Robert Skrnjug was also pleased with the performances of Gordan Giricek, Lorinza Harrington, the rebounding of Kris Humphries and the Stealing and Assisting of Deron Williams. He hopes the team can turn it around tomorow against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Till then, Jugs.

The Speedy Suns are too much for the Jazz. Losing AK47 was a big differences. When will AK be back?

Tue Sep 27, 2005 6:20 pm

That Amare pick is killer!

Too bad about the loss, you start killing them again when MVP get's back.

How come no boxscores?

Tue Sep 27, 2005 9:00 pm

AK47 will be back in 6 days and oops i'll fix the boxscores Devin, thanks for pointing that out.

Nice stuff, I will really be following this dynasty the upcoming year.
You were one of the first to REALLY start one and post screens from 06 and you picked a pretty unusual team. (Y)

Wed Sep 28, 2005 6:15 am

Oh yeah, I forgot to add in my previous post that C.J. Miles is the shit. Make sure he wins ROY. :headbang:

Wed Sep 28, 2005 6:35 am

Oh tough loss... but in the preview you said that the Jazz lost to the Kings by 70 points? You didn't play against Kings :P

thanks clitzie, i really appreciate your support, are you saying im the first one to really start one because Laxation is showing off in his going "oh i recapped most games" or because of the people who've started theres early :?

CJ Miles is doing really well in my dynasty, i use him more then Matt Harpring as a SF/SG back up but his doing well because of the other injuries

Thierry Henry wrote:Oh tough loss... but in the preview you said that the Jazz lost to the Kings by 70 points? You didn't play against Kings :P

The reason i made this post is to tell Thierry that i simulated the game against the Kings.. scroll up the page and you'll find out i lost by 70 points in the sim result...

Utah hosts the Grizzlies

After 2 losses on the road in a row, the Jazz get to come home and host the Memphis Grizzlies.

Starting Line-Ups

Image

Key Match-Up

Damon Stoudamire vs. Deron Williams

Will the veteran be the leader of his team or will the rookie help his struggling team.

1st Quarter

Gordan Giricek started the game beautifully, scoring the Jazz's first 6 points as the Grizzlies couldn't keep up with the pace but some costly turnovers gave the Grizzlies the lead. The Jazz took back the lead but some rushed shots prevented them from extending their lead. The Jazz began to rebound well on defence and shared the ball and shot well on offence and eventually they shot out to an eight point lead. The Jazz continued with their momentum until the end of the quarter, they ended with a 30-20 point lead.

2nd Quarter

The Jazz started the quarter with a 7-0 run as the Grizzlie had no answer. Then after a few possesions, the Grizzlies went on an 8-0 runs as some calls didn't go the Jazz's way and this got to their heads so Jerry Sloan called a timeout to calm his players down. Along came CJ Miles, he scored 2 points straight away but then he got injured an he was out for the rest of the game. This was a huge loss in terms of his ability to fire up his team mates but the Jazz had a 21 point lead. The Jazz were excellent in this quarter as they finished the quarter ahead 61-39.

Key Players at the Half

Damon Stoudamire and Gordan Giricek

3rd Quarter

The Grizzlies came out determined not to increase their deficit as they came back to within 16 points of the Jazz but the Jazz put it back out to 20 with some outstanding offence. The Grizzlies weren't completely out of the game yet as the Jazz finished the quarter ahead 89-64.

4th Quarter

The quarter turned out to be quite easy for the Jazz as they kept pushing to extend their lead to 30+. They reached the 30+ lead at the 5:40 mark of the quarter with a Lorinza Harrington lay-up. At the 3:13 mark, Deron Williams hit a 3 pointer to give the Jazz a 40 point lead. Then Mark Miller made 2 free throws then Deron Williams went up for a lay-up, got fouled, the ball went in the basket and he score the and 1. Gordan Giricek injured himself going up to defend a Stoudamire drive. The Jazz took this game 133-91.

Player of the Game

Gordan Giricek

Gordan was outstanding tonight, he kept his team going and he basically started off the team's run.

Robert Skrnjug was jubilant with tonight's home victory, he said the whole team was playing excellent tonight and he wishes that this win can help forget the past 2 losses and looks towards the future. He also announced that Gordan Giricek will be out for 9 weeks with a dislocated shoulder and CJ Miles will have a minor sprained finger, who will be replacing Giricek on the starting 5.

I hope you like, Jugs.

I'll put some more effort in it for the next game.

Thu Sep 29, 2005 11:56 am

Good to see you won that game despite all these injuries. Too bad, Giricek will be out for 9 weeks. Why do you called Bosstertag instead of Ostertag?

Thu Sep 29, 2005 4:36 pm
