CHARLOTTE PRESS RELEASE

Per team policy, Charlotte doesn't release trade rumors and sayings about possible transactions the team might make, but Mr. Haso and Mr. Bickerstaff have decided to break that policy, they feel the public has the right to know what is going on inside the team. And therefore they've released this Press Release

Matin Haso: Hello, thank you all for coming out. Myself and Bernie has decided to remove the policy about not talking trades and signings to please our fan-base, and we've planned some big moves for next season. All the players involved have agreed to this by the way, no complications whatsoever.

Joe has had a very mediocer season here with us. And we feel that we need a more experienced player that can drive the ball much better, stays active, Joe has a tendensy to become a set-shooter, and that's nor out style of basketball. So we'ved expressed our interest in the Dallas Mavericks G-F Jerry Stackhouse. We think Jerry is one of the missing links in out team in the search for championships and a good solid ballclub.

Also, when, god forbid(laughs) Latrell decides to pack it in, we want to be able to use Dwayne at the two spot, which we feel is much more natural for him, so we have set our eyes on Mike Bibby, a great pass-first PG with very nice mid-range and long-range game. Also we've talked to the representatives of Damon Studemire.

[b]Well, that's what we've been cooking :) Thank you all for your time, until next time. Have a safe drive home folks :P

I have now simulated some games, and here are the scores of these games:

Which by the way was mostly away games...

CHA @ LAC = 120 - 97
POG: JJ 31p, 4r, 6a, 3s

CHA @ MEM = 92 - 89
POG: Flash 19p, 7r, 6a, 2s

ATL vs. CHA =92 - 105
POG: Joe Johnson set his new career high in this game!!!
43p, 3r, 6a, 2s, 3b

CHA @ SAC = 104 - 100
POG: Flash 33p, 6r, 4a, 1b

CHA @ DAL = 95 - 118
POG: Jerry Stackhouse 32p, 8r, 12a, 3s... Huge game for Stack!

CHA @ CHI = 107 - 101
POG: Wade 18p, 7r, 8a, s, 1b

NJ vs. CHA = 84 - 95
POG: Wade 18p, 7r, 5a, 1s

MEM vs. CHA = 100 - 101
POG: Wade 22p, 1r, 8a, 2s, 2b

Now I arrived at the Allstar brake. Dissapointingly, even though both Okafor and Wade are now posting Allstar numbers, the only invitee was Dwayne for the Slam Dunk Contest. And there he finished second after rookie Devon Hellar who had an amazing performance.

Record at the Allstar break: 26-11

*Broadcast or (bc) means one of my full reviews.
Games left in march:
@ SA (Broadcast)
vs. POR
vs. MIN (bc)
vs. DAL (bc)

Upcoming Game: @ San Antonio
Next Post: Spurs Game

Wow, that is awfully harsh. Especially looking at Flash's POG numbers you'd expect him to be in the All-Star game. Oh well, looks like here is an oportunity to step it up and prove to them that they made a mistake.

Fri Aug 12, 2005 12:25 am

wow you ended up 7-1 good job...good luck next game and to bad Wade lost the dunk contest in the All-star weekend

Yeah, I know, it's crazy how in sync we are...! :D
Yeah it was too bad about the dunk contest, but I screwed up, hit my 360 between the legs of the rim and got a 20 (already replaced before), but what are you gonna do? :) Come Again next year I guess :P

Bobcats own player awards:

Player Of The Year:
Image Latrell Sprewell. A great leader and terrific ballplayer. When others have struggled he's stepped up, although advancing age he stayes in great shape to contribute to the team in every way he can. Both on and off the court he's an inspiration to his surroundings, this is a great man! He fully deserves this award and we hope to keep him for a longer duration still.

Defensive Player Of The Year:
Image Emeka Okafor. Well I think 19p, 10r, 3a, 1s, 2b, speaks for itself. Emeka leads this team on the defensive end!

Most Improved Player:
Image Dajuan Wagner. In one season, Dajuan has grew up to be one of the key benchplayers for the Bobcats!

Community Contributions Award:
Image Dwayne Wade. This award goes to a player that non stop gives back to the community. Dwayne is an outstaniding citizen and always contribute to all kinds of charity events year round. He also founded two charities of his own: Dwaynes Charity Allstar Game and a running marathon through the streets of Charlotte.

Because god doesn't like the state of California.

Good luck to you Matin.
Just curious though, why didn't Flash or Meka take home team MVP? Their numbers seem better across the board.
