Cheers SAC-1, *Sensation*!! I feel like my team is unstoppable right now. I never thought I would find it "easy", but I've put up my free throw difficulty so it will get back to tough again.

Anyway I have five guys starting who can score from different situations, Williams and Johnson from outside, Carmelo driving to the hoop, Martin and Camby from low post. I'll see how well I can do.

I've already played the game against the Clips but the trouble is I don't have the photos uploaded so I can't post the report here at work.

Here's the starters anyway:

LA Clippers (6-11 before game)
C C. Kaman
F E. Brand
F C. Maggette
G K. Kittles
G M. Jaric

Denver (9-4 before game)
C M. Camby
F K. Martin
F C. Anthony
G J. Johnson
G J. Williams

It's a tough matchup for K-Mart as he goes up against Brand. Report will be up this afternoon. Stay tuned. 8-)

Should I do less screens and post the stats? It could give more of an idea about what's going on. Then again I'm not a stats person, a screen full of numbers is kind of dull, then again you could see, like how many points Lenard and Hodge got against me and...

NUGGETS HOLD ON TO LEAD AND BEAT CLIPPERS

LA Clippers 89
Denver 97

It's going well for the Denver Nuggets right now. The team had no problem holding on to their lead against Elton Brand & co. in their win over the Los Angeles Clippers. The star of the game was center Marcus Camby, who took over the leading role from Kenyon Martin, who was faced with the tough task of being up against Elton Brand for most of the game. Camby managed 33 points and 9 rebounds while Martin had 22 and 12. The Clippers came as close as four points in the end, but the Nuggets kept their heads cool and hit the deciding free throws after Clippers had to foul. Denver go up against New Jersey next and are expected to win against the team which holds one of the worst records (3-12) in the league.

Starters:
Denver (9-4 before game)
C M. Camby
F K. Martin
F C. Anthony
G J. Johnson
G J. Williams

LA Clippers (6-11 before game)
C C. Kaman
F E. Brand
F C. Maggette
G K. Kittles
G M. Jaric

Player of the game:
Camby DEN 33/9

Team leaders:
DEN: Martin 22/12, Nene 12/6
LAC: Maggette 28/4/5 ast, Kittles 20/3 ast, Jaric 21/4 ast

Box scores:
Clippers
Nuggets

Cheers, LA, SAC-1, *Sensation*, Dr. Funky! Nice to have some support!!

Played one game just now, will play another (Hawks) tonite if I have time and post tomorrow.
---------------------------------------------------------

NUGGETS BEAT MISERABLE NETS

New Jersey 93
Denver 117

Denver Nuggets didn't have a real basketball game to play tonight. New Jersey nets came to town with only two big men in their team and were facing an impossible task from the beginning. They kept up with the Nuggets for the first quarter, but fell behind in the second, losing by 16 at the half. The Nuggets continued playing hardly breaking a sweat and came away with a comfortable win. The Nets' game was even more weakened by their big men, Nenad Krstic and John Collins getting into foul trouble. Kenyon Martin's 51 points was hardly a surprise to anyone in the Pepsi Center. The most interesting part of tonight's game must have been the jerseys, with both teams wearing classic 1980's jerseys. The Nuggets will travel to Atlanta next to face the Hawks.

Starters:
Denver (10-4 before game)
C M. Camby
F K. Martin
F C. Anthony
G J. Johnson
G J. Williams

New Jersey (3-13 before game)
C N. Krstic
F J. Collins
F R. Jefferson
G V. Carter
G J. Kidd

Player of the game:
Martin DEN 51/7

Team leaders:
NJ: Carter 24, Kidd 24/2/6 ast
DEN: Camby 17/6, Anthony 15/2/3 ast

Box scores:
Nets
Nuggets

I don't know how they've managed not to sign a power forward or a center. They have three big men outside the 12 but apparently they're not good enough. This game was a joke.

Cheers. Hawks game will be up later today once I get home and play it.

LA, that Nets team was just a joke, they had Ron Mercer playing PF when Collins got into foul trouble! Martin's 50 points was no surprise. With double team effectiveness up, I doubt he will get it so easily anymore. Even against Hawks.

Thanks for the support also go to Clipp, Emiliano, Kobe101 and Sensation. I'll see what's going on with the other dynasties but as always I feel it is my duty to come back here and update mine first...

Joe has found a new home
by Mike Nugget, Denver Post Sports Writer

Joe Johnson seems to have arrived in Denver at the right time. Just as the team was beginning to look consistent, in came Johnson to add his outside shooting and defence skills into the Nuggets team. The team hasn't lost since Johnson came in and there is already talk that Nuggets might be able to go a long way in the playoffs. Johnson, however, seems relaxed about it.

"There's still a long way to go in the regular season", he says. "If you look too far you will probably slip up in your next game. We're just trying to remain focused."

The Nuggets seem to be doing just that, having destroyed a weak New Jersey Nets team in their last game. Johnson was just 0-5 from the field in the game and failed to put up any points. So how does this affect one of the league's top shooters?

"I'm not concerned about it", says Johnson. "The strength of this team is that we don't have just one or two guys that we go to. We go to everybody. Obviously I want to help my team but yesterday Kenyon was scoring well from the post so we went to him. On another day I'll get more points. We can still do well even if one of us isn't scoring."

"I'm really enjoying the basketball we play", Joe continues. "It always helps to have more than one or two offensive threats. With a shooter like me on the outside it helps free up space for Kenyon and Marcus [Martin and Camby]."

The basketball is good, but how is Joe finding life in Denver?

"It's cold!" he exclaims. "When I got here I had on like two sweaters and a puffer jacket because I didn't want to catch a cold right away. But I'm getting used to it now, I think it's good for anyone to be able to live in different places. The people have been nice to me so really it doesn't matter that much if there's snow or sun outside."

Post your questions here, if you come up with a couple I will have something fun to do here at work when "Kenyon" answers. Any questions will do. Cheers.

Nice. (Y) .

K-Mart, the question is, is this the team? Do you think this team right here has enough talent to win the championship? Are there any more adjustments that need to be made, in your mind?

I have a question for Mr. Martin.

What areas would the team generally need to improve on to win more ball games in the future?
