Raptors break down Nuggets in Toronto
vs

Anthony was held down but Camby had a solid game but all in vain. The Raptors won their 2nd straight game by comfortably beating the Denver Nuggets 80 to 66.
Yet again it was the pairing of Joshua Carr and Honor Glow that led the way, Carr had 18 points and grabbed 4 boards while Glow scored 15 points, grabbed 5 boards, had 7 assist and stole the ball 4 times in what was the games best performance by far.
For the Nuggets star player Carmelo Anthony had a quite night and it was Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin who led the way, Kidd scored 12 while Martin had 13. Marcus Camby also made a valuable contribution as he had a double double on the night scoring 10 points and bringing down a game high 12 boards.
It was a one sided game from the tip off to the end as the Nuggets failed to score and the tight defense of Toronto allowed no easy shots and the chance of a comeback became harder and harder as the game went on.
Jae Hatton had yet another solid game off the bench having 13 points and pulling down 7 boards.
The Raptors record went to 2-4 after the game.
Final Score : Raptors 80, Nuggets 66
Portland smash Raptors, worst shooting night for Toronto
vs
A visit to Portland isnt the scariest thing but the Raptors would get a wake up call.
The Blazers were too hot to stop as they kept hitting shot after shot, whilst the Raptors kept jacking up shots but couldnt hit a single one. Star player Joshua Carr struggled and it was by far his worst game of the season, even the ever reliable Glow struggled to do much. Only Santos ended up with good numbers at the end as he scored a career high 13 points and grabbed 8 boards.
Reef hit 8-8 to defeat Toronto. For the Blazers it was super benchie Shareef Abdur-Rahim who was simply unstoppable. He scored 16 points and didnt miss a single shot from the field, 8 in total. Zach Randolph and Damon Stoudamire also had solid games whilst almost every Blazer with more than 5 minutes of play scored 10+ points except for Darius Miles who fell short by 1. Theo Ratliff led the defensive end as he grabbed 11 boards and didnt allow the quadrio of the Raptors big men to get any easy baskets.
The Raptors were terrible all around and their was no positives in the game at all except for Santos's best game yet, it wasnt the kind of result you want heading into Kobe's Kingdom.
Final Score : Blazers 77, Raptors 61
