LeBron James Dominates Chicago

Chicago were never in the contest, not scoring more than 23 through the four quarters, including 16 points in the first. Trailing by 1 after the first, Cleveland extended the lead to 5 at half time, then 14 after 3, then scoring the Bulls by 10 in the fourth to run out easy 24 point victors.

Eddy Curry played his first real game tonight as a Bull starter dropping 21 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and swatting away 4 shots. Kirk Hinrich continued his good run with 19 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds. An uneventful return for Marvin Williams scoring just 4 points and 7 rebounds in 39 minutes, looked completely underdone and lacked match fitness.

LeBron James was in superstar mode tonight, going 11-19 from the floor he finished the game with 24 points, 12 assists, 8 rebounds and 8 steals. 2 rebounds and 2 steals away from a quadrupal double, an amazing feat and a game winning performance from the young star. Ilgauskas cashed in on the double teams James was attracting with 24 points of his own and recording 3 blocks.

Game Breakers

Eddy Curry: 8-18 FG 21 Pts, 11 Rebs, 1 Asts, 4 Blks
Kirk Hinrich: 8-17 FG 19 Pts, 5 Rebs, 10 Asts, 1 Stl
Tyson Chandler: 3-8 FG 8 Pts, 11 Rebs, 3 Stls, 2 Blks

LeBron James: 11-19 FG 24 Pts, 8 Rebs, 12 Asts, 8 Stls, 1 Blk
Larry Hughes: 9-17 FG 24 Pts, 2 Rebs, 6 Asts, 1 Blk
Zydrunas Ilgauskas: 10-22 FG 24 Pts, 3 Rebs, 1 Ast, 1 Stl, 3 Blks

Chicago Gets Revenge In Second Game Of Back To Back

It looked like it was gonna be another Cavs night when they took a 3 point lead after the first quarter, but in an amazing display of defense, Chicago limited Cleveland to scoring just 47 points through the next 3 quarters to run out easy 29 point victors.

Eddy Curry was relegated to the bench for tonights game, and showed his form from the start of the year netting 26 points in 26 minutes going 12-20 from the floor. Tyson Gibson played the defensive game of his life against LeBron James tonight, Coach Skiles gave Gibson the job when James took to school a not fully fit Marvin Williams who was moved to Power Forward, restricting James to just 1-10 from the floor and just 3 points.

Drew Gooden took advantage of Marvin Williams on the block, with Gibson clamping down on James, Gooden dropped 8-20 from the floor and finished the game with 19 points and 6 rebounds. Larry Hughes also backed up his good game against the Bulls last week with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

Game Breakers

Kirk Hinrich: 8-21 FG 19 Pts, 9 Rebs, 8 Asts, 2 Stls
Tyson Gibson: 5-12 FG 12 Pts, 5 Rebs, 3 Asts, 3 Stls, 4 Blks
Eddy Curry: 12-20 FG 26 Pts, 4 Rebs, 1 Blk

Larry Hughes: 8-17 FG 21 Pts, 7 Rebs, 4 Asts, 1 Stl, 1 Blk
Drew Gooden: 8-20 FG 19 Pts, 6 Rebs, 2 Asts

SLAM OF THE WEEK

LeBron James may be having a slow start to the season, but his Cavs hold a 13-10 record and are amongst Eastern Conference play off calculations. On this night King James showed why his is still a force to be rekoned with dropping 24 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, handing out 12 assists and stripping the ball 8 times, a near quadrupal double performance against the Chicago Bulls in the Win. Chicago returned the favour 2 days later.

yeh, i think eddy curry is the spanner in the works, and marvin williams has put up like 5 shots in 2 games, to which i dont know why, and my 44th overall pick is doing better than my 25th overall pick, ide rather be in this position than below .500 so its all good

ill be doing a game tonight, but thats if the game lets me, theres quite a few scratches on the disc now and doesnt allow me to play games against certain teams like the nets and knicks, but hopfully that doesnt affect simulation, if all goes well then ill have my first game up in 2 weeks, cheers
