Once again Kobe Bryant powered his team to a win but it cause something huge for the Los Angeles Lakers as they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies.

Both teams had a cold shooting night, the Lakers only scored 38 points in the first half in 36% shooting while the Grizzlies are only 42% in the first half. But in the fourth quarter Bryant went on to take over as he scored 12 points including a foul counted layup against O.J Mayo for them to take the lead 80-79 with only 2:05 left. But then Bryant went on to stand up holding his right wrist and seems to be on an intense pain he left the game and never came back.

The Lakers managed to hold on to win the game but clearly they are not happy with the outcome. Bryant had 28 points and 4 assists. Rudy Gay led the Grizzlies with 27 points while Mayo had an all around game with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 dimes.

After 16-2 and Kobe's start, I think your signature will be changed after season.

November Team Report

The Los Angeles Lakers proved that they are legitimate title contenders. After losing the first game against the Houston Rockets the Lakers had an amazing 14 games winning streak and ended the month of November with a 16-2 record.

Delonte West and Rip Hamilton turn out to be good players for the team. West give the team a steady performance at the point while Hamilton is a great scoring boost off the bench with 12.4 points per game. The Lakers bench is really a key factor for their great start as Lamar Odom and Derek Fisher provides effective plays while the starters are resting.

But at the last game of this month the Lakers had received a huge problem as their superstar Kobe Bryant will be out for likely a month due to a wrist injury which he suffered during their game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Bryant is having a great start leading the team in scoring, assists and steals now Hamilton will be tested as he will try to occupy that role.

IRL but this is only a game. Also if your team got Pau,Bynum and Odom up front then there is no really playing time for Kwame even though I like him to play.

NLSCers are always :turrible:. I don't know why most association stories bother featuring them bunch of D-Leaguers at all.
Except for Mr. O'Greene, William (Sit), and Ray (Cartar) because they have a ring.
They're better than LeBron.

Mavs are not dominating they have almost the same record as the Nets.

Well Mr. O'Greene and the others are not even here so D-Leaguers will do.

Games Without Kobe

The Los Angeles Lakers have now started the games without their superstar Kobe Bryant who will be out for at least a month due to wrist injury. The first game was against the Houston Rockets and the problems started to arise especially during the final minutes when nobody wants to take the crucial shots the Lakers eventually lose the game.

Their next game against the Phoenix Suns was a different out come. Andrew Bynum played his best game of the season so far with 32 points and 8 boards. While Pau Gasol almost notches a triple-double with 24 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assist.

They continue their winning streak against the Washington Wizards Pau Gasol again led the team and Lamar Odom had a double-double off the bench. Against their rival Los Angeles Clippers Gasol had an off game but Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom were there to led the team also Rip Hamilton had 22 points for the Lakers to win their third straight without Bryant.

I sense tension when Bynum demands the Lakers to be his team now.

I like it that the lakers can progress without having kobe in the lineup. Shows real bench depth.

Well only 2 games, in those 4 games Gasol's numbers are closed to a triple-double while Odom had 4 straight double-double so its really a team effort.
shadowgrin wrote:I sense tension when Bynum demands the Lakers to be his team now.

For one month he can convince the team that it can be his team.
