Another Great Victory For The Bulls

Not the most exciting game of the year, but at the end of the day Chicago pulled out the W, they started and finished slowly, but a 29 point third quarter sealed their fate.

Even though he got fouled out, Antawn Jamison had the best all round numbers for the Wizards, scoring a team high 23 points, on 10-20 shooting, adding 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.

Marvin Williams had the best numbers for theBulls, scoring a season high 19 points on 8-12 from the floor, also adding 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Carter/Kidd School Bulls

It was New Jerseys dominant first quarter that set up the easy win , outscoring Chicago 33-17 and then backing that up with a 28-20 second quarter. Chicago won the last quarter but it wasnt nearly enough to pull off a upset going down by 18.

Vince Carter shot the ball wonderfully, going 11-19 from the floor including 4-6 from behind the arc, and threw down a couple of thunder dunks for good measure, he finished with the game high 29 points.

Tyson Chandler had a big double double tonight of 14 points and 16 rebounds, including 12 on the defensive end, he also had 3 blocks.

Yao And T-Mac Take Over Bulls

Chicago again was held to a low score on their way to their second straight loss, in two quarters Chicago failed to score more than 14 points, including 11 in the last.

Yao Ming took over down low for the Rockets, scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks and 1 steal.

Tyson Chandler also had a huge game on the boards, scoring just 7 points, he had 20 rebounds, 9 offensive, he also had 3 steals and 2 blocks.

In other news Marvin Williams has injured his elbow and will be out for 3 weeks.

Chicago suffered their third loss in a row with a crippling 103-88 loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Detroit started strong with a 30-20 first quarter and finished strongly with a 28-22 last quarter.

Rasheed Wallace dominated Chicago with his shooting game, going 10-18 from the floor, going for 26 points, 14 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 1 assist. Other noteable stars for Detroit were Tayshaun Prince with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks, and Rip Hamilton with 8 points and 10 assists.

Eddy Curry played well in his first start of the season, going for 17 points and 14 rebounds. Chicagos back court of Kirk Hinrich and Ben Gordon combined with 51 points, 10 assists, 5 steals and 4 turnovers, but it wasnt nearly enough to get a W.

Gordons Career Night Wins Game For Bulls

Chicago snapped their 3 game losing streak with a 10 points victory over the gallant Clippers, Chicago starting off outscoring LA 28-16 in the first and increased the lead to 13 over the main break. LA tried to fight back but it wasnt enough to catch up to Ben Gordon and Chicago. Kirk Hinrich left the game with an injured wrist, he will not miss any games but it will affect his performance.

Ben Gordon had a huge night. Going for 17-25 from the floor and nailing all 5 of his 3 pointers he lead the Bulls with an amazing 45 points. Adding 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals to his stellar game.

Corey Maggette also had a big night scoring 29 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks. Shaun Livingston also had a big night with 9 points and 13 assists.

Bulls Stun Sixers In Huge Victory

Phili swept the season series with the Bulls last year and it looked like another promising night, only trailing by 1 after the first quarter, A combination of poor shooting and tough Bull defense left the Sixers with a 9 point to 27 second and a 33-16 final quarter, Chicago running out reasy winners by 30 points. Chicagos front court of Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry combined for an amazing 23 points, 33 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 blocks.

Ben Gordon had another great shooting game dropping 13-22 from the floor he finished the game with 32 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

Chris Webber stood out tonight as the Sixer sbest player, scoring 25 points on 11-24 shooting, grabbing 11 rebounds and 5 steals.
