Good thing I haven't missed much.

I love how I'm back just in time for playoffs.

Me too

like the playoff coverage so far, don't like the fact that you are winning but whatever

1. Photos are absolutely unbelievable.
2. It'll be interesting to see how missing Haslem and Z will potentially impact the team in later rounds (like matching up against the Lakers and their big lineup).
3. Finish 'em off at the Garden

LeBron James scored 36 points in the second half and the HEAT were able to hold off the Knicks after giving up a 20-point half-time lead.
James finished with 56 points, Dwyane Wade added 20 and Kyle Korver had 19. Chris Bosh was held to 7 points.
Amar'e Stoudemire had 18 points and 7 rebounds, his best game of the series. The most consistent player for the Knicks has been Ronny Ruriaf, he had his first double-double with 12 and 10 rebounds. For the series, he's averaging 8.3 points and 9 rebounds.
The first half was almost perfect for the HEAT on the offensive end. They shot 60% from the field, including 11/19 from three-point range. The Knicks did shoot 54% from the field, but still trailed by 20.
Then, the Knicks rallied back. They clawed their way back slowly, narrowing the deficit to 13, 88-75. The Knicks then went on a huge run to start the fourth and trailed by just 4, 92-88.
But LeBron came back in, scored 15 points in 3 minutes and the HEAT came out with a 17-point win.
The HEAT will now look to close out the series in game #4.

"LeBron carried us to a win, but we can't allow the Knicks rally like that again. We need to play aggressively for the full 48 minutes. "

56 at the garden by LBJ. Sounds somewhat familiar. Hey, even Tyreke had his career-high at the Garden in my D (42 iirc), the Knicks are making presents.
Good job nevertheless, let's beat them and move on.

The HEAT led by as many as 7 in the third quarter, but the Knicks were relentless, scoring the final 5 points of the game to come out on top, 110-108.
Dwyane Wade had a series-high 43 points, he also had 8 dimes. LeBron James followed up his 56-point game #3 with 20 points, as he was held to just 1 field goal in the first half.
Kelenna Azubuike led the Knicks with 27 points, 11 of which came in the fourth quarter. Wilson Chandler hit a pair of threes in the final 3 minutes and finished with 22 points. Amar'e Stoudemire had 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists.
During the first quarter, the Knicks led by 7. After that, neither team led by more then 5 until the HEAT got a 7-point lead in the third quarter.
The point-by-point battle continued until the very end.
Mario Chalmers made a lay-up late to put the HEAT up 108-105. The Knicks called a time-out and Kelenna Azubuike made a jumper to narrow the lead to just 1.
The HEAT went to Dwyane Wade on the next possession, but he was immediately doubled. LeBron James took a jumper with the shot clock running out and missed.
Amar'e grabbed the rebound and fired it ahead to Azubuike, who made a fast break lay-up whilst drawing the foul. He knocked down the final shot and the Knicks held a 2-point lead with 8.4 left.
Dwyane Wade drew another double-team and LeBron James drove to the hoop, looking for a foul. The foul wasn't called and James missed the lay-up, keeping the Knicks alive.
Game #5 will be back in Miami.

"We didn't do a good job in the fourth quarter defensively, 34 points is too much. The Knicks were the better team tonight. "

Ilgauskas to return ahead of schedule for game #5
The HEAT will get C Zydrunas Ilgauskas back for game #5 against the Knicks, the team's medical staff announced. Ilgauskas was originally expected to miss the entire post-season.
"Zydrunas made a miraculous recovery. He should be fine to go 100%."
Ilgauskas is expected to dress for game #5, although is not expected to play with the recent strong play of Omer Asik and Erick Dampier.

Despite falling behind 15-2 early on, the HEAT were able to crawl their way back and eventually win the final game of the series in dominant fashion, leading by as much as 26 in the final quarter.
LeBron James finished with a triple-double with 24 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high 17 assists. He had racked up a triple-double with 4.48 left in the third quarter after a dominant first half.
Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade both had 26 points. Wade added 8 assists while Bosh had 9 rebounds. Both had 3 blocks.
Wilson Chandler had a double-double with 30 points and 10 rebounds. He scored 12 points in the final 5 minutes when the HEAT had already subbed in their reserves.
The HEAT out-scored the Knicks 64-42 during the 2nd and third quarters to build a 21-point lead entering the fourth quarter.
LeBron, Wade and Bosh kept the throttle on and led by as many as 26 before being subbed out to a standing ovation.
The Knicks then out-scored the HEAT by 15, but it was too little, too late to get back in the game.
The HEAT will face the Hawks in the second round, who knocked out the Pacers in 5 games.

Joel ''the greatness that it is'' Anthony

Wow, monster game by LeQuit. Almost 20-10-20 game... Big three combined for 76 points

Good luck against Hawks
Thunder show some fight, now they will finish Lakers.
Tue Mar 22, 2011 6:34 am
The Hawks will be tougher. Their D should give you a little something. I thinnk you'll finish them 4 - 2.
Tue Mar 22, 2011 8:13 am
Unreal game from LeBron to close out the series. With 17 assists, he's Magic Johnson on speed (great mental image there). Best of luck against the Hawks!

You should have swept them man. Your team is soft. Were the guys crying after the loss and the win?
