That's definitely an option, haven't tried that as I have Haslem who the Heat have missed almost all year. But now he's out and I don't have a PF reserve, so yeah.

We'll see. Rose actually returned, as somehow the injuries were turned off, but the Bulls still didn't make it.

Joel will guard him, I hope I can slow him down that way.

I think you will pretty much dominated the "old" Knicks. Just watch out for Amar'e and Chandler.

Kyle Korver had 25 and the HEAT got 43 points off the bench and cruised to a game #1 victory against the Knicks, 106-74.
LeBron James and Dwyane Wade both had 22 points, while playing just 25 minutes each. Chris Bosh had 14 points in 24 minutes.
The Heat shot 50% for the game and 45% from range, while the Knicks really struggled. They shot just 35%, 26% from deep. The HEAT had 30 assists on 42 field goals, 9 blocks and 12 steals, being best in every category, apart from points in the paint, which were tied at 28.
With Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, the HEAT took a 10-0 lead. The two combined for 24 of the HEAT's 31 points in the first quarter.
With the bench coming on, the HEAT held a 54-35 lead at the half. LeBron had already racked up 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
In the second half, Miami kept the throttle on. The Big 3 got lots of rest, but that didn't affect the lead. In the fourth, behind mostly Kyle Korver and Jerry Stackhouse, who scored 8 points in 6 minutes, the HEAT led by as much as 37, until eventually slowing down.
They still won by 32 and had the advantage of resting the starters for game #2.

"It will be a long series, so it's good to have a game like this, where the bench can carry us. "

Thunder 67 points?
Poor Knicks, do you trade Melo to Knicks in off-season?
Sat Mar 12, 2011 8:43 pm
mp3, I doubt I can keep Amar'e in single-figures much more and I have a lack of size right now too, so it'll be tough.
Valdis, that's the plan. Otherwise, he will sign the Pacers or Kings.

The HEAT displayed great defence throughout, recording 9 blocks in the first quarter alone, and finished the game with a 19-5 run.
LeBron James and Chris Bosh were very aggressive and combined for 60 points. Chris Bosh also forced Amar'e to commit 2 early fouls and he didn't get in the groove of the game. He played just 17 minutes after picking up his third just 38 seconds after checking back in in the second quarter.
Dwyane Wade struggled, shot just 5-17 from the field. But Wade's three-pointer sparked Miami's big run late and Kyle Korver, who finished with 16, knocked two three pointers in that stretch.
6 players had at least 2 blocks for the HEAT and as a result, the Knicks shot 35% from the field. They made 8 three-pointers, but needed 27 attempts to get there.
The Knicks were better in a number of areas, like assists (20 to 19), rebounds (43-35, off 9 to 1) and fast break points (10 to 6).
The HEAT led 76-67, but the Knicks took the lead, 79-78, with over 5 minutes to go. But the HEAT really tightened things up on defence, allowing the Knicks to score just 4 points after that, while scoring 21 after that.
The HEAT will now travel to NYC to face the Knicks and the hostile Madison Square Garden crowd for game #3 and #4.

"That's why we came together. If I have an off-night, I can rely on Chris and LeBron. Kyle has also been big for us, his threes really out the game out of reach for the Knicks. "

Amar'e was indeed in foul trouble.
I'll post game #3 once I can log in with Firefox.
Tue Mar 15, 2011 6:22 am
I don't know why, but in Playoffs Kobe suddenly starts to go crazy on the boards. He had like 5 during the season in mine and 8 in the postseason.
